This book is just bursting with Christmas spirit! I love Christmas time, and this was just the book to get me into holiday spirit. The entire novella reads like a Christmas movie from Hallmark. The narrator was pitch perfect and I love the way that her reading brought the story to life. This book includes: people dressed like Christmas elves, family drama, and a romance between the two protagonists that is as sweet as cup of peppermint hot chocolate. Who knew mistletoe emergencies could be so endearing? If you're looking for a book to help you get in the Christmas spirit, I recommend this short and entertaining read.

A Holiday Story to Enjoy Anytime of the Year! Great Audible Listen🎧📚🎧
Red Bows and Mistletoe A Lilac Novella By: Pamela Ferguson Narrated by: Stephanie Dillard
This is a wonderful romance story and a great addition to the Lilac series. The residents and business owners of Lilac are getting ready for the holidays and Noelle Arber, an herb farmer, takes advantage of making some extra money by hanging decorations she makes from the mistletoe she harvests at her neighboring apple orchard. Cole Higgenbotham was not happy working in his family’s year round Christmas business and he moved on to greener pastures or rather taking a job at an apple orchard. He is still finding his way as a caretaker and the orchard itself and when he sees some odd lights in the trees he is surprised at what he finds, a woman working in the trees. He had not none of Noelle’s arrangement with the former owner but she convinced Cole she was not a poacher and when he finds out how much she knows about the trees he comes up with a compromise and a surprising proposition. Cole wants to succeed in this new job and will do what it takes. Noelle has goals and she is busy doing what it takes to get there. These two were great together and for each other, she made him see things in a different light and he opener her eyes to new things too. I enjoyed how everything played out in this book, it is a holiday story that can be enjoyed any time of the year. Pamela Ferguson, thank you for another sweet romance, I love how much story you fit in your novella sized books, perfect books to enjoy in one sitting.
🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Stephanie Dillard is the perfect narrator to bring these characters and story to life. She has a complete understanding of the characters she portrays, does an excellent job covering both the male and female roles, giving each a voice that suits that characters, sounding believable and just as I picture the characters to sound. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work as she captures all the characters’ emotions and projects them into her performance. This talented narrator and a versatile voice artist is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.
Thanksgiving and Black Friday is were all the Christmas celebrations start. Is Cole going to be happy helping Noelle decorate Main Street? A cute story of family, friends and celebrating Christmas. Looking forward to reading more of Pamela's books. joy943
You never know where love will find you. Pamela Ferguson delves into a the life of Noelle Arber as she takes on the job for her town. She is well acquainted with the local orchard and goes to gather mistletoe bunches to decorate Main Street. In the orchard she meets Cole Higgenbotham, a man who has left his family business to start a new chapter in his life. Cole is tired of the same thing year after year, being part of a unit. He is ready to break away and be on his own, but leaving was not blessed by his family. Now with a problem with the decorations, Cole finds himself reaching out to his family for help and filling his heart with love. If you love stories that fill you up and make you feel good, you will love Noelle and Cole. Noelle seems very innocent, but she is very wise. She is not only smart when it comes to her craft, but she knows what is important in life. Cole is the best kind of man you can find. He is responsive and loving, but what I really found intriguing was his ability to understand what is important in life. I loved this story, and it's a great way to start the holidays!
Narrated by Stephanie Dillard, you will find great voices and a wonderful portrayal of the story. She understands her characters and makes them very realistic. I love her performances.
When I began listening to Red Bows and Mistletoe, I liked the premise. Girl takes on a large Christmas project, has a catastrophe and needs a jolly elf to the rescue. However, it took a little longer to get away from Cole and Noelle's contentiousness and down to the fun than I would have liked. Once they did, however, this was a truly magical Christmasy story. I loved it once Cole's family got involved. That was THE best. Read or listen to it and you'll see. The Narrator did an excellent job with the voices of all of the characters and keeping the story clear and easy to understand. All in all the story will put you right in that Holiday Spirit!
This lilac novella was just as good as the other Lilac novels. The story just flowed and was very enjoyable. There were wonderful new characters, animals and humans alike. These novels just get better and better.
Again the author always manages to teach something, or remind us of what's really important in life. It was great to revisit some of the characters. The narration was just as good as the others. STEPHANIE has narrated other Lilac novels. She is great. Would highly recommend this book. I was given this free review copy audio book at my request, and have voluntarily left this review.

This was a sweet romance listen, with the focus on Christmas. It was very atmospheric. I learned quite a bit, that I did not know, about mistletoe. I loved how different themes kept popping back up during the story. I enjoyed the entrepreneurial spirit that is also woven throughout this book. It was a quick, easy, joyful listen.
Stephanie Dillard did a great job with the narration. She had great emotions and voices.

Red Bows and Mistletoe: A Lilac Novella was a great read by Pamela Ferguson. Cole decided to quit his families lucrativee year-round Christmas business and became an orchard caretaker. Noelle is an herb farmer who has to harvest enough mistletoe to decorate main street. Cole decides to help Noelle in exchange for a copy of her detailed orchard map. I loved reading Noelle and Cole's story and can't wait to read more by Pamela Ferguson.
Short and sweet. Interesting people and setting, but very little drama. Perhaps this is appropriate to the tone and novella length, but given the backstories of the main characters, the quirks of their families, and some of the plot events, I found myself wanting more. Having been introduced to the author and the setting, I'm keen to try one of their novels.
A chance encounter between neighbouring business operators reunites families and leads to romance in this sweet story about decorating a town for the holidays. A dog, a couple of Christmas elves and a hearty helping of mistletoe help to make this the kind of sweet Christmas story I just love to read.
Red Bows and Mistletoe by Pamela Ferguson is a fun and sweet listen. I so enjoyed the vibrant imagery in this book. The characters were endearing too! This listen is the perfect setting for sipping hot cocoa or hot cider. Stephanie Dillard was wonderful bringing the characters to life. I enjoyed her banter and distinguished voices. This is so much more than a holiday listen!
This story is bursting with Christmas Spirit. I love small town stories with a happy ending so if you’re in the mood for a fiction story with a light clean romance this is for you. The narration was good as well.
