I an ARC copy for an honest review. This is the second book in the series centered on Spencer Christmas and Jada Forte. Their romance continues to burn hot. Spencer has little to no filter. He says what needs to be said usually without regard for political correctness. I was so glad to have the next book available to read upon completion, just too juicy for words. It’s amazing how Z.L. developed Spencer’s character. He was a very unlikeable character in Jasper’s series to a hero I’m rooting for in this series. Can’t wait for book 3.

Intriguing book kept me engaged

This book kept me more on edge, which was a very good thing. I definitely enjoyed it. The editing in this phase of the series is better than the first trilogy.

One thing I do wonder about is the family name switching from Christmas to Blackstone. I don’t recall seeing an explanation for that. Once I finish all the books on the family, I may go back and search both names to see if I overlooked something.

I do recommend the series for its suspense. The romance is of the instant, passionate, and explicit type.

Difficult to read

Actually both of the main characters in this book are deeply mentally ill. Glad the author included a counsler.. For readers who have triggers, like child and sexual abuse should not read this. Parts of it were difficult to read. Of course the expected cliffhanger, this writer is so clever, she hooks you knowing you want to see what happens next.

This second book was so, as we say in the UK, un-put-downable. It follows on from the first diving into Jada Forte and her family.

It has political shenanigans, a bit of rumpy pumpy, intrigue, a shooting, more mystery and more intrigue and so full of left turns. Just how I like my books! I dont want to be able to guess the plot, and I need strong female leads, which this book has in abundance.

Book 2 Carrie's on seamlessly and takes you further into Jada and Spencer's relationship. They family secrets and lies and is a great read.

It takes you into the political landscape of American politics and reveals what really goes on in those halls of power. It opened my eyes and politics is far more dangerous and sexy than I could have imagined.

We further delve into Spencer and Jada's relationship, their childhoods and what shaped them and ultimately mould them to be the adults they are today.

Pushing against their upbringing and influence of their parents.

I love reading about grown ups that are far from perfect, make mistakes and keep learning and striving.

Very good, dark, edgy, mysterious

This is book 2 in the trilogy. It's very good, dark, and mysterious. I read through book one in one day and book two in just a few hours. I am off to read book three.
Overview. This pick up relight were book one ended. Jada is forced in to a job she didn't want to take. Spence uncovers a piece of the Dark Chrismas's past and trying to find justice. But along the way the two have to find a way back to each other. Only to be manipulated again.

Another great book! There are so many secrets with the Christmas family that you just can’t believe it. All of Spencer’s secrets are coming out along with Jada’s mother’s involvement. This book has so many twists. A major family secret comes out in this book, but you will have to read it to find out what it is, believe me it’s a bomb shell. Will Jada and Spencer overcome all the secrets? You will have to read to find out!

The Freed Billionaire Spencer Christmas Trilogy book 2. I loved everything about this book except Jada's dumbass whining and stupidity. She aggravates my soul. And for that reason alone I gave it 4stars. She is So smart but has childish delusions. Spencer is fighting his way back to being human instead a a broken soul. But that damn Nada Lord me not throw my kindle. So dramatic. Awesome characters, secrets, lies and videos send me into fantastic land. Onto book 3.

The second book in the series is carrying on from the first and is another fantastic book. More secrets are coming out of the woodwork and the plot is thickening. Jada is starting to see her mum in a new light with the help of Spencer. This ends on a cliffhanger and leaves you wanting more. Definitely recommend this book

What a cliffhanger!! Spencer and Jada are discovering more and more hidden secrets, but the biggest one is the relationship between a Christmas and Jada's mother. I'm curious to see how this ends!!

I didn’t want to give up after book one, but the more I read the less I like the female lead. She just keeps being played by her mom.
