Shared by a professor, a football player, and an engineer? I never thought grad school would be so much fun.
I have the biggest crush on my engineering professor. Yeah, yeah. I know. But you should see this guy. He is fine.
Adam Nielson is tall, dark, and handsome. Like something out of a cologne commercial. He's every girl’s fantasy. And I’m pretty sure I’m his fantasy too.
But Adam isn’t the only boy on my mind. I’m tutoring Joey Trevino, the star football player. A blond-haired, blue-eyed athlete with a ravishing smile. His goofy personality and boyish good looks would be hard enough to resist. Throw in his persistent flirting? Soon our study group is the last thing on my mind.
Then there’s Paul Bradley, the fellow grad student I met in the lab. A boy with the quiet intelligence of a nerd wrapped in the sexy body of a supermodel. He shows up to my apartment one night to help fix my laptop. And something tells me he’s not just here to touch my hardware.
Can I graduate on time while being shared by these three amazing men? Or will these sexy study sessions ruin my academic career?
THE STUDY GROUP is a scorching college reverse harem love story filled with humor, suspense, and excitement. HEA guaranteed!

The following ratings are out of 5: Romance: 💙🖤💜❤️ Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘📔 World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍🌎 Character development: 😟🤭☺️😘🥰
The heroine:Sarah - she is in graduate school for electrical engineering and is a teaching assistant in a computer course at Southern Polytechnic University. She has always loved computers and electronics and spent much of her childhood taking things apart, putting them back together and building electronics. She wants to work for one of the big tech manufacturers and design her own computers.
The Heroes: Adam Nielsen - he is a professor of Engineering, and he teaches the class where Sarah is the teaching assistant. He isn’t just the sexy young professor who looks more like a model than an educator, he is actually brilliant in his field. He is also a senior systems engineer at ABQ Labs. Joey Trevino - The all-American blond hair and blue-eyed football star. He is not doing well in his classes and needs tutoring help before he gets put on academic probation. Paul Bradley - a grad student in Information Technology. He looks a lot like a nerdy superman (Clark Kent in other words) and is very intelligent.
The Story: Sarah has had a crush on Professor Nielsen for a while so when he asks her to help out a struggling football player, she agrees even though she doesn’t really want to. She sees how many student athletes were treated like gods and helped out so they could sail through their classes without putting in the effort like regular students. However, Sarah had always wanted a job at ABQ Labs where Nielsen is an engineer, so she hopes tutoring Joey will help with that.
Sarah was also in the process of working on her master project, so she often reserved blocks of time at the Lab on campus to do her work on retrofitting older motherboards to work with newer microprocessors. When she goes to the Lab on the wrong day, she meets Paul Bradley who offers to share the space with her. I liked Paul quite a lot. He has a bit of OCD when it comes to evening the score with regards to owing people for things. The feeling that he owes somebody something or they owe him something really bothers him. It was a cute quirk. Plus, Paul was getting his masters in IT, which is what I work in, and I have my master's degree, so I felt a connection to the story that way.
The other two guys were just as great, each having their own personality traits which were as likable as their tight abs and big…hands. Joey seemed like a dumb jock at first and kind of reminded me of Joey Tribbiani because of his name and some of the things he said, but when he started talking about what he really liked to study we got to see that he really isn’t dumb, he is just not doing what he wants in life.
I can’t say enough about how good the backstories are in Cassie Cole’s books. I have read a few of her reverse-harem romances now and I really love how much detail she puts in and how thoroughly she researches her subjects. I have already put a bunch of her other books on my TBR and I hope they go on sale soon because I hate paying full price for books. Though I just love that each of these has been a standalone and the stories are so good. I expected this one to be not as well thought out but it was really good, and the IT and electrical engineering background was just great.
Ok so first a few sex logistics problems, which stopped the steamy scenes from actually feeling sexy:
— no mention of condoms or discussion of birth control, even when having casual sex with multiple people
— no adequate prep for anal and they never use any lube, but apparently this isn’t an issue
I’ll be honest, I was expecting this book to be pure smut, and I was a bit disappointed with the amount of plot here. It didn’t help matters that I didn’t care about the plot or conflict for any of these guys. Plus there is so much tech jargon it’s ridiculous, and also just boring. I kept waiting for the next sex scene, and hoping it wouldn’t be as frustrating and the previous sex scenes. But then it was.
In conclusion, USE LUBE WHEN ASS FUCKING PLS
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is definitely one of my favourite Cassie Coles' yet! The boys were amazing and so was Sarah. I also loved the whole setting and the story. Sure, not much was going on, it was very regular for a College romance, however, it just had so much charm. I've got to say, the dynamics between all the characters were so fun to read. Sometimes Cassie Cole falls into the habit of making all the love interests too similar...that was not the case here. Everybody felt fleshed out and three-dimensional. I absolutely adored each individual personality. I am prone to favourites so I must admit, Joey really stole my heart throughout.
3 stars steam, the plot was ok I guess, considering that it's a reverse harem book...
And like another reviewer said: please use lube when trying/doing anal, and talk about condoms and stds when partaking in non monogamous sexcapades...stay safe and healthy! (Those things should be part of the sex scenes in books, it helps/reminds readers/people to be more responsible too...)
The book is probably more a 3.5 stars rating. I don't want to give only 3 stars. Because I liked the book, and it isn't on the bad side of the book department for me. But it's not a solid 4 stars, because there are mistakes or more issues in the story/logic.
For once, it is totally unrealistic that she has her first anal experience without any preparation and lube. That's not good. It may be a fictional story. And I know fiction doesn't have to be rational. But when you write a story, leaned on the real world, it should make sense.
And another issue. They never talk about using condoms or anything. It may be possible, that she doesn't mention it, because she has some sort of implant or takes the pill. That's why she doesn't feel a need to fear of possible pregnancies. But what about STDs? I know there may be young people, who doesn't care about that. But that is not a responsible behavior. She doesn't strike me like the reckless type of girl. And the boys neither. Paul and Joey may be young and do some mistakes. But Adam? He is 34 and a professor at the time. He has a moral compass and responsibility. And even he never asked her about that. Nope. Not logical.
Other aspects, that aren't bad per se, but make this book strange. Like the technical jargon. I did understand a bunch of that, but I have studied Media and Computing. So I had some classes like that. That can't be expected of all readers. And though it makes the story authentic, I don't think it's something people want to read about. It makes it boring. Authentic. But in a boring way.
The book has smutty scenes. But some parts are more skipped over than others. So, she thinks about double penetration. But during the main story, it doesn't happen. Only in the epilogue, it's mentioned they had done it. And a lot of other porn stuff. Okay they have at least a kinky, again more unrealistic, foursome. And I don't mean the "fill the holes"-stuff. Though it's a first, she did it that way. But again, anal sex without lube, too. But at some point it really felt rushed.
I'm not sure how to explain the next point proper. But for me, I wasn't sure what's the point of the story. Mostly it felt like it was without a real direction. Nothing really special happens. Sure, it's Reverse Harem, and it is about her and the guys. Though, she doesn't have real relationships with them. It's mostly declared as some sort of tryst, and at least two of them first don't know of the others. Only Joey hasn't a problem with sharing. So, there is not the real drama. They all have more personal concerns, but it's not the focus. Like Joey's difficulty with his passion. He talks about it and she helps him. But it's solved without much drama. The same with Paul. Adam is a little more special. Cause there is at least a moral aspect. But again, it's solved without much issue. No one ever finds out about them. And it isn't Sarah that aims for a relationship. The men are the ones, that solve this part. Talking without her and serve her the decision. She is ok with it. But still they don't declare it as a relationship. More like an arrangement.
They say they love her. But I don't feel it. I believe the part, that each of them cares for her. Joey for example I believe. And he is the one I most felt like he has feelings for her. Adam's feelings are mostly in the background. We hear about that only because of his POV chapters. How hard it is on him and all. And Paul. Yeah, he is a special guy. But he seems more interested in his philosophy and his farm hobby.
And it isn't mentioned, too, if they have problems with the people around them. If they judge them or not. Or how her parents etc. react? Their families aren't mentioned that much anyway.
So overall, that probably sounds more bad than good about the book. But it really isn't that bad. I'm tending to be more generous. I have a different rating system. So, everything under 3 stars is basically something I wouldn't finish reading and wouldn't rate it therefore, or I have read it, because the idea was interesting enough, but in the end I didn't enjoy it. I seldom give a rating under 3 stars. Mostly because I'm careful with picking books. And I look up the ratings. Without spoilers, but I take hints. Like, is it clean romance or anything like that. So, I know if I want to read it or not.
But essentially I have a rating system that starts at 3 to 5 stars mostly. So, if I give 3 stars if the book was average for me. Not bad, but nothing special either. Something okay. 4 stars is usually for books, that were solid. Good story/plot and characters. Maybe some flaws, but I really enjoyed it, and it left me with a positive feeling. But for the 5 stars, it lacks something for me. Or it's a book, I know I won't remember. It's not average, but it doesn't blow my mind. It's hard to explain. Because the important thing for me is the feeling a book leaves me at the end. Books with 4 stars are typically good for me. I know I will remember the book some time - probably not forever - but long enough, that I think about it. I have only a handful of books, that I consider as my favorite ones. Which I never forget. That would be books with 6 stars, if I could give them.
But that's only for a little explanation about my rating system and a transition why I don't see the book as only 3 stars. Even though it's lacking in the logical department. It leaves me with a positive feeling. I liked the characters. They were unusual in some ways (Paul, for example). And the plot wasn't that predictable. I like unexpected twists. And I was happy that they got their HEA. So, the idea wasn't that bad. And I enjoyed reading it. That's why I decided on 3.5 stars.
Obviously I read this for the steamy scenes more than the actual story. I didn’t love the steamy scenes to be honest. There was one that was good but that was towards the beginning and then the rest of it fell flat for me.
This was an enjoyable story to read because the characters were so realistic and you get to follow along and see how things progressed between Sarah, our graduate student, Adam the college professor, Joey the college football player, and Paul a fellow graduate student.
Sarah is a teacher's assistant in her final year before she earns her Masters. She assists Professor Adam, who looks like a model, and every girl in class has a crush on him, and some of the guys too. They have lightly flirted with each other until finally, they kiss and then some. When he asks her to tutor fellow student Joey, the college football player about to fail some of his classes, he didn't realize that he was asking for competition. When Adam also calls a halt to the physical side of their relationship, he throws her further into Joey's arms.
Adam is a college professor part-time and works at a computer research company full time. He is just about to get his tenure when the college dean starts to pressure him to give Joey passing grades in spite of his failing grades in other classes. He has been attracted to Sarah, his teacher's assistant since the first time he saw her, but doesn't want to jeopardize his professorship and reputation by messing around with a student. Yet she is more than just an attractive female, she has the brains and personality to match him outside of school. He asks Sarah to tutor Joey, basically passing off his responsibility from the dean, even though he knows that Sarah has a totally full schedule with being a graduate student, his teacher's assistant, and writing her Master's thesis.
Joey has been a football player for most of life. He enjoyed it at first, being that his father pressured him into it, but he is good at it. Now in college, his coach has chosen all his classes and what his major is to be, not what Joey wanted. So now he is struggling with classes he has no interest in and is about to be benched due to his grades. He is a cheerful guy with an easy smile for everyone and loves to have fun. Yes, he is a party guy and great at beer pong. When Sarah offers to help him study, he takes the gift. He also enjoys being around Sarah and they become friends-with-benefits to also entice him to learn. She then finds out his excuse for 'his dog ate his homework' is really true!
Paul is a fellow graduate student who has the best of student housing. Apparently he is also a computer geek and created three fictitious students so he could get a great four-bedroom apartment with all utilities included just for himself. He has the entire apartment set up for cryptocurrency mining. In three years he has earned over $750,000 in cryptocurrency but it is a full-time job keeping all his computers up and running. He has rigged it so they don't know that his apartment is using the majority of electricity and bandwidth of the entire complex. He meets and falls for Sarah in the computer labs where he goes to create a part of the computer system to help not get so hot. She helps him to get on track with his Master's thesis and she creates some software to keep him on top of all the mining computers to let him know before they breakdown. When the apartment building has the utilities checking all the apartment, he knows he is going to get caught. Sarah and her guys all come together to help Paul get his apartment back in shape before the inspection.

Well I'm not sure how to rate this as it is not quite erotica, not quite romance, and what do I mean by that? Well I rate erotica with a different ruler, yard stick, than romance, and mystery generally and then non-fiction. It matters what the book is trying to present. So take fantasy, is it fantastical with no real basis in reality or trying to pull scientific fact that could mix fantasy that "could be" or might be, even though in all reality there is not a chance. Is it the interactions in the new environment between the characters or the discoveries and/or victory in adversity. Erotica is usually easy as it is mainly the interaction of the characters and we ask ourselves, for ratings, did these characters act in a sexy, sensual, hot way that is somewhat believable, or that we can suspend belief for, along with liking or at least not being bored or irritated with the storyline. For romance, I at least, want a storyline that make a good story, along with the main character's having a strong attraction, I don't really need sexy times but that reinforces the attraction. Sexy times make the story erotic but not necessarily erotica. Sometimes it can be a distraction or in the wrong place. So with that said...
I've now read a few of Cassie Cole and her addition of computer and networking information in her storylines is always fun. She obviously knows quite a bit on the subject. Here we have a professor with a teaching assistant in Introduction to computers (why you would need an assistant in a basic class? Truly grad students and doctorate students teach this type of class.) Still, Sarah is asked to tutor Joey, who is a detached jock that seems not to be able to get anything done on time or correctly. Adam the professor, who is swoon worthy, and also happens to be her doctoral advisor, asks her to try. She does and finds that Joey isn't exactly what he seems. She also, meets another computer master's student, who has OCD maybe even Asperger qualities but is handsome, smart and friendly, and happens to be in her field (kind of). While trying to get a date with the master's student, Paul, and being turned down, and then her text to Joey, not returned, she bumps into Adam, the professor, in a completely out of school setting, things get heated but he is her teacher, not unlike what she is to Joey. So while, Adam pulls back, things get complicated with Paul and Joey, especially when she finds out Paul's secret.
A lot of this relationship time goes on while she is also trying for a job and trying to complete her master's project. We get to know the guys and their issues at the same time, Paul has been putting off his own project, Joey doesn't want to study Communication but is forced to, Adam, well he thinks he is tired of teaching, has groupies, and worries about taking advantage of his position. So it is a romance of sort, yet... the acceptance is not believable for a romance for erotica sure, then for erotica, it is actually tame... until the very end. So the erotic gets the 3 the romance a 3, and the story 4 1/2 to 5. Yep the story that is not even what I talked about above, dealing with their issues, her job and school complications, and in the end Paul's side project, that was the best and it took a lot. It would have been a great romance, except the 3 coming together and acceptance was not believable. Still, it was really entertaining for whatever category I put it in.
Man I have been FEELIN' some school romances. Don't ask why. I don't have answers. Nor do I really...want them...but anywho.
For those of you who have not read a book by Cassie Cole yet, welcome. How are you? Thirsty?
Well, prepare to quench your thirst. With not one tall glass of water. Not two either. But three glasses of tall yet completely different glasses of water.
I always feel a bit like Madeline Kahn in The History of The World Part One when reading a RH book. And like she had trouble choosing for the midnight orgy, I as well can't ever seem to just pick one. And like most reverse harem heroines, I too would have a difficult time making any decisions. But I've noticed lately that the conflict for these heroines....is completely non-existent. And that could potentially be because of morality and 'The Modern Women' and what not, but it's strange for one such as myself to be scandalized but the fact that this girl is just freaking....goin' for it. With zero remorse or thought of others finding out or even those tough decisions where you may have to choose. Cause I'll tell you right now, Relationship Wise? This story really doesn't have a whole lot going down. Was it hot? Sure...I just wish maybe there had been a bit more...give..and..struggle between the characters.
Cause yo girl is a HO for some LOVE STRUGGLES BOO.
But, did this book totally capitalize on the college PTSD of consisitently putting off assignments, studying yourself then tutoring others, creating projects, then the inevitable black pit of doom that is preparing for job interviews post-grad? HELL YA HO. shooooot, I still have night terrors where I wake up in a cold sweat because I dream I slept through a final, or my 5 am six mile fitness training. We've all been there.
One of the things I continue to enjoy about C.C.'s novels are the consistent amount of research that clearly goes into each of these book. Though all of the facts/factuals/EFF'NFacts can become a bit tedious (because this girl ain't got NO clue TF all this techy talk means) and that can really start to slow a story down. I do really appreciate though, the effort that clearly goes into making sure that her main characters background shows her actual breadth of knowledge. Now....if we could make the romance just a tad more......tedious...
Real talk: Struggle. Shiiiiiieeee--ooooooot y'all. We all know how we would act if suddenly given a harem of male's. Some would throw themselves at their feet, others would seduce them to their knees. Well....me, my form of seduction.....is.....far from subtle.... But anywho, I guess because there was the taboo of teacher student going on here I was expecting a bit more. Maybe that because I enjoy reading the more Taboo topics BECAUSE you know there is going to be SOME DAM STRUGGLE, and I love to watch something build.
Overall, not a bad book. A bit more on the techy side more than anything else, but still enjoyable enough to be finished in one day.
Sarah is in the final few months of her graduate degree. She helps out as and Assistant Professor working alongside Adam, who is not only gorgeous but works at the brilliant technology company that Sarah aspires to work for one day soon. When Sarah ends up watching a band at her local bar, she realises that the bass player is Adam. He too is attracted to Sarah but after they act on their feelings, they have to call things off due to a conflict of interest. When Adam asks her to help out footballer Joey, to try to lift his grade, she takes him under her wing. There is a lot more to Joey than the typical jock facade that everyone else sees and the attraction between them is undeniable. But after acting on it they realise that they have to break things off as it would also be seen as a conflict of interest. When Sarah ends up sharing a workstation with the geeky yet gorgeous Paul, they end up in a steamy relationship, but Paul is okay when things with Joey end up taking a creative tutoring turn. But Sarah is still conflicted about Adam, and she starts to spread herself too thin, putting others before herself. This is a superb, interesting and entertaining reverse harem story. It approaches the RH relationship scenario in a creative way but ultimately shows all four of them falling for each other in different ways. Absolutely brilliant!

This book was way better than most of the RH I've read in the past weeks. It wasn't amazing, but I enjoyed the actual plot. I'm not sure if it can really be called a RH, with pretty much no interactions between the guys (and one of the guys having almost no scenes.) Didn't have much smut, but I'm not the biggest smut fan, so that didn't bother me. Not sure if all of the guys had solo explicit scenes.
Joey was my favorite, even if he was annoying sometimes. I think Adam was redundant for the story and someone else should have taken his place. Paul was fine.
I think the author has studied STEM or is close to someone that did, because that part of the book was very detailed. And I don't think they know much about art because while all the STEM theory was seemly well explained and not entry-level stuff, the Art History parts were so basic it hurt, even more for someone that studies Art History. Doesn't affect the story at all, it's just something I noticed.
The title is kind of a clickbait, as there was only one scene where a group of people studied, and it was mostly random background characters.
The book wasn't great, but it wasn't awful either. It's probably worth your money.
So this was a free ARC copy from my favorite author/booksprout for my voluntary honest review of this sizzling hot four-way romance and I so enjoyed it! Once I picked it up and started reading I just couldn't stop reading til I finished it and I so enjoyed it! It has a great storyline and great characters to read about, plus it's sizzling hot erotica read about a hot four-way romance! *Spoilers Tag-Sarah's an engineering major student looking to go into computer design. Sarah is a grad student that works at an assistant professor. Adam her Professor asks her to include a person into her study group however after one session she sees that Joey is seriously in need of one on one tutoring because her study group is too advanced for him. Joey is a football player and is about to be put on academic probation because of his grades. However he is willing to study but its his coach that's the problem. Sarah meet Paul when she mistakenly go to computer lab at the wrong time and they run into each other breaking her laptop screen. Sarah ends up in a relationship with all three men in some form. However they all come to a head a round the time she is to turn in her final project for school. Everything blows up and nothing goes according to her plan. Will Sarah get what she wants? Will the men leave her behind? Can they all make a life together?
This is a great story with a lot a twist and turns before a happy ending is had. The chemistry between them all is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I have to admit that I was a bit slow reading this at first because despite it being a standalone, it moved a little slower than what I was expecting. It was nice to see though how the lives of Sarah and her guys’ lives were very interwoven—well, I guess except for Paul since he didn’t have a lot of connection with the other two guys and his meeting with Sarah was completely incidental. Despite that, I’m pleasantly surprised with how they ended up coming together because I did not expect that at all!
I guess the missing star in my rating is because I would’ve wanted to see more of them together as a group longer than the last 20% of the book but I guess that was hard to do in a standalone where the guys are completely different from each other and have no prior bonds/connections to each other.
The steamy scenes were not too much and just the right amount of spice, but I guess the last two steamy scenes were my favorite!
My ranking of guys for this book is Joey > Adam > Paul (I’m shocked I didn’t end up fave-ing Adam since I usually go for the professors in harems)
3.5: only rated this one lower than all of my reviews of the author’s other books because I liked it a little less.
Sarah is an electrical engineering graduate student, Adam Nielson is her professor, Joey Trevino is a football star she’s forced to tutor and Paul is a fellow grad student.
Sarah and Adam work closely together as she’s his TA and in his classes. They’re definitely attracted to each other and act on it one night. Adam tells her it can’t happen because of their status.
She is forced to tutor Joey. On the outside he’s a fun loving dumb jock, but there’s so much more to him. Sara finds comfort in him.
Paul is a fellow computer geek. He is awkward but they have so much in common and start dating.
Sarah is spreading herself too thin and things end up coming to a head.
This one had a lot of computer jargon that I did not understand. The author sure did her research but it was over my head. Not really important to the story, but in there nonetheless.
Sarah was close to finishing her masters when her life begins to get very complicated, with three sexy men wishing to spend time with her. Adam was her professor, while Joey was the young student she was tutoring, and then there was Paul, a student working towards his doctorate. Three hunky guys, who thought the world of her, How could she choose just one? I found this book an exciting story to read, Sarah had always been too focused on her studies, but in a short time, her life becomes complicated. She loved her course and was passionate about it, but when her focus becomes split between her studies and her love life, the situation becomes dire, and she has no one to blame but herself.

The author did a great job of creating the three distinct male characters and showing their relationship arc with the female lead. Unfortunately, much of the conversation between the characters was stilted and unnatural. I understand that Paul was awkward, but the other characters suffered from this problem and it made it hard to read certain parts. Also, much of the dialogue from Sarah is very technical. I love that Sarah is a nerd/geek, but the in-depth conversations with the other characters was unnecessary. Having so many conversations like that really killed the enjoyment and I found myself skimming parts because of it. However, the sex scenes were hot and spicy and made me want to round up my own harem of men.

Sarah is one lucky woman having 3 hot guys Adam, Joey & Paul although at one time it seemed like she'd lost Paul & Adam. She was helping Paul & Joey with their school work which caused her to slack off a bit but then when Adam & Paul left her she wasn't putting her all into her thesis resulting in her failing but Joey stayed with her throughout. It took a lot of hurt, tears & sadness before they would come out the other side together stronger the 4 of them together her men were willing to share her as they all loved each other so much. I really didn't want this story to end it was so hot but when it did I had one hell of a smile on my face.

These four characters are so awesome! Sarah is an engineering major grad student looking to go into computer design. Adam is a senior engineer at a tech company and a professor at Sarah's school. Sarah is also Adam's assistant professor. Joey is a football player who is struggling in Adam's intro level computer class. With pressure from the dean, Adam asks Sarah to tutor Joey. Paul is an IT major with a secret project. Sarah meets him in the engineering lab. You will love following along with these four as Sarah and Paul approach graduation and Joey and Adam struggle with the direction of their lives. Wonderful book that will draw you in and not let you go!

Some reverse harems are the literary equivalent of watching porn. This is more the X rated Hallmark version, character building with a few sex scenes, including the climactic (ha!) one to close the book.
There's a heavy amount of geekiness involved, as shown in this example:
"I tightened my legs around his waist and pulled myself against him, clutching his strong body the way a microchip clung to a circuit board. We moaned together, the kiss pausing so we could air our mutual ecstasy to the dry-goods closet. The expression in his dark eyes was pure bliss, and I knew mine looked the same."
Admittedly showing my baser instincts here, but part of the fun of this style of book is various flavors of group sex, which was lacking.
Geeks in love 4 ½ stars - As with other books from this author, The Study Group is packed with details that lends authenticity to the story. Amazingly enough, the geeky details enhance the story instead of boring me. Adam, Joey and Paul are so different from each other that the only thing they really have in common is Sarah which is why I’m not quite sold on the ending. I like Sarah - her intelligence, her compassion, her confidence and her vulnerability makes her a very real person. There is a lot of steamy sex scenes but most are MF. This was a fun read for me. I enjoyed the way that things developed between our characters. Sarah ends up in a relationship with more than one man but I loved how it happened between each of them. She ends up getting to know each of them separately and building a relationship with them individually prior to together. The story is hot and has a few tropes that are fun; the student and professor, the "nerd" and star football player. It held my attention the entire time and I really enjoyed the length of the story as it allowed for things to develop and the reader to get to see more of it happen. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
The Study Group is another good RH by Cassie Cole. The story is about Sarah and Joey, and Adan and Paul. Sarah is having one heck of a good time in graduate school with her older professor, the football star and another grad student. Let's just say that she gets a lot of extra credit marks for all of her effort. So this as a hot and steamy read but it also was a bit difficult because of certain story details that are wrong. But once you get over that it is a good book that I enjoyed reading.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
The Study Group is one of those stories that once you start to read you can’t stop till the last page. The story will take you on a ride that will have your emotional twisted and turned around before a happy ending.
The characters were amazingly written, it was great to see relationship between Sarah, our graduate student, Adam the college professor, Joey the college football player, and Paul a fellow graduate student, bloom and grown throughout the book.
This is a well written and very entertaining story.
