Most annoying heroine
I couldn’t finish this . The hero and the Mc members were fine . The heroine Sofia was running from the bratva. Running through the woods with a 6 month old with no shoes on . The baby had no food , milk , diapers , or clean clothes . Mack saves them and the baby is really sick so he has a nurse and dr from the Mc come over to treat the baby . This dumb bitch was going to leave with her sick as hell baby because she couldn’t let him be raised around a “gang” but yet the bratva was after her ! She stabbed the hero when he did nothing but help her . He risked his life and the whole club to save her and this woman was so high and mighty and too good for him . I hated her . CPS needed to take her baby and let the bratva kill this crazy woman . If I were the author I would just kill her character off . Anyway dnf and I don’t do that often . 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Big, Strong and tough Mack is the enforcer for his MC. But Mack has a soft spot for kids. When he sees Sophia running up the road barefoot, barely dressed, and with a baby, he knows he needs to stop! Sophia is not so receptive! She's on the run, and this guy is holding her up! Then the Bravta show up! Demanding he turn her and the kid over. Yeah not happening! Mack convinces her to stay, only because the baby has gotten sick. But the more time together, Sophia warms up to Mack, but she doesn't share all her secrets! And what she doesn't say causes problems for the Mc. Very fluid story that keep you hopping and hoping. I loved it!

Thoughts: Good read, but I was not a huge fan of Sophia - she was scared I get it, but she was willing to keep her kid in danger even when she saw that the "gang" was taking better care of her kid than she was.

Great!
I chose this rating because this is actually a really good book. I really enjoyed it most all of the characters. This was a book of protection, confidence, compassion, Determination, and sacrifice. I really enjoyed Mack and Sophia story. I think the author did a great job with putting these two characters together. Mack he fell in love with her had a little boy and treated him very well. That's always a good thing. This book was a well written and straight to the point. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.

Had higher hopes😒
This third book of the series was somewhat of a let down. I thought Mack was a great character, but his story with Sofia was so so. At no time in the running away, baby getting sick, mafia hunting them scenario was any thought for the baby really a thing. Where were the diapers, formula, bottles, and baby things that kids need? Sofia got new clothes and an art kit, and she slept with Mack all why wearing a puked stained dress. What??? I just really found that all so odd.

Mack and Sophia’s story. Book 3 in the series. The writing and stories are getting better the further along I get in this series. At this point, wishing I had purchased the entire series instead of just the first 5. The characters are memorable with glimpses into the previous characters and how their lives are now. Both of these characters touched my heart. Bad childhood along with bad parenting but somehow these two come together after a long road and together they heal each other and become the family that they both needed. Worth taking the time to read the series.

I can’t. I gave this series into midway with book three and it just isn’t getting better with character development or me being able to stand them. The female lead in this is just so nasty and obnoxious. I get it, she’s been through horrible abuse and blah blah blah, but she keeps making horrible decisions for her kid that are nonsensical and lashing out.

Mack is travelling back from club business when Sophia runs past him.
He's unsure what he saw until he hears a babies cry.
Sophia hasn't been able to trust anyone for years but feels safer with Mack around.
This is my favourite of the series so far.
I love how the mc members are truly committed to family and their brothers.
I liked Sophia character a woman determined to protect her son.

BratWhat?! Bratva didn’t stand a chance.
Mom with a 6month old baby on the run from the Russian mafia. Mack saw her running on the side of the road. Stopped. Talked her into getting on his bike/ kills two of the Russians right then...but more importantly - he’s so good to the baby! He’s all in from the get go, I love it.

Geez this was height of violence, but then it's Mack. He had to do everything the hard way. I knew Sophia was gonna have trouble once that phone call was made. Too many things done unnecessarily. I guess Sophia didn't know the meaning of emergencies only geez, pissed me off.

Recommend reading!
I loved reading about Mack and Sophia. His determination to save her and her baby boy from the danger following them, and her determination to not be taken prisoner again.

Mack was ok but Sophia annoyed me so much. Trying to persevere with this series but it hasn't really grabbed me all that much. Still hopeful it gets better.
