Jo has just lost her call centre job and vows to never work in one again. While her friends, Anna and Julián, have lucrative careers, she goes through one unsuccessful job interview after another. Desperate, she even considers going back to the customer services industry. And her love life is not much better. Everything seems to go wrong until she meets Adam, Anna’s mysterious boss. He will open doors to her that she had only dreamt of before. But is it all just too good to be true?
This is Sophie-Anne Monroe's first novel where she explores body positivity and the possibility of creating an environment where women can experience their sexuality in safety, where a man can ask permission and the mood not be altered for it.
PRAISE FOR ACROSS THE LINE
“Can't begin to explain how much I loved this book. Engaging characters that you truly root for. Plot lines that have you wanting to shake people one minute and crying with relief that they made the right choices the next.” - Cinnomen Matthews.
"I loved that there were LGBT+ characters allowed to be actual people first and not solely defined by any particular label." - Rob O'Neil
“A great read and some of the hottest sex scenes you can ask for.” - Elaine Roberts
Simple story that could have been so much shorter. The mistakes in vocabulary were teeth grinding. The characters were 2 dimensional and the sex scenes were almost clinical. Of course this is just my opinion
Loved this book but hated the way it ended. Want to buy the boxset but no info on the other two stories does it continue do we find out more about Adam and Jo (and what happens to Matthew). Really like happy ever after endings and this left me hanging
