Officially calling it. I started this in September 2023, read half, put it down for 6 months, read another 10% a month ago, put it down again, and then recently had to return something on KU to get something else so this was culled from the list.
I adored book 1, and I'm not mad about the development this took in expanding from MM to MMM but...the vibes just aren't the same. Shelter in Place managed to pack such an emotional punch, as Cal came to terms with his kinky desires and opened up about his past, and Ross explored his sexuality.
But this is just 400 pages of sex. And age play isn't really my thing either, nor is chastity - in fact that's where I called it. I just don't care enough about the characters to read about both subs being locked in cock cages for what seems like is going to be an unreasonably long time.
And ok, so, maybe I am mad about this becoming MMM. I understand that because Matty is new to the mix there needs to be a lot of content for him, but I feel like Cal is being sidelined and I am sad for him. I'll probably re-read book 1 at some point, and just pretend this book never happened, and that Cal and Ross got their happily-ever-after as a couple who maybe had occasional scenes with Matty.

I couldn't finish this book. I liked the first one with Ross and Cal and could even get past the moments where the kink wasn't my thing. I didn't like the relationship between Cal, Ross and Matty. It didn't feel balanced out and to me it felt like Cal was being pushed out of the way. Maybe the focus of the book was just so much on Matty that that's why it didn't balance right. There were a lot of continuity issues and editing mistakes. Half of the book is the longest week ever in the history of books. I just wanted their relationship to feel more even and for there to be less typos and that's why I couldn't finish it.

Crazy, smokin hot kink.
Just as fab as book one. I loved Ross and Cal’s story, and was a bit leery to see a third coming in, but Matty is a beautiful addition to their relationship! Matty’s sweet vulnerability is a lovely contrast to Cal’s more sharp edged (and awesome) needs, and together the little imps couldn’t be more adorable. Of course, freeing them to reveal all these wonderful kinks is their amazingly supportive and strong Dom/Sir/Daddy.
Loved all the dynamics and crazy hot scenes.

Emotional erotica ftw. I thought this did a really nice job folding Matty in as a third in the dynamic. The Daddy kink and age play were kind of a surprise but fit the characters so well. I liked Harlan as the mentor dom to Ross… it gave me some relief to know that Ross was getting some insight into the lifestyle and not just making it up for Cal as he went anymore. This had a lot of character growth, hot scenes as expected, and a lot of kink that kept me interested. Would love a third book!

3.5 stars. I jumped right into this after finishing book one, Shelter in Place, which I enjoyed quite a lot. This was longer than I expected and def more out there in terms of the MCs’ explorations. These boys got into some stuff that really wasn’t my jam and I ended up skimming a bit here and there. Still, I did very much enjoy the dynamic betw the three of them. I thought they were all very unique, nicely developed characters and I never got confused over whose chapter I was reading, as can often be the case in romances where the MCs aren’t deeply drawn or distinguishable. I feel like there were a couple of plot lines left hanging, a few unanswered questions. It’s unclear to me whether there will be a book 3, but I’m hoping there is!

I enjoyed this book more than the 1st book... I was interested to see the route this book would take with the potential ‘throuple’ I was not disappointed at all with how this whole thing panned out. It was hot as hell as daddy took charge more, having said that these ‘naughty boys’ also had their fun with daddy too...
Are we going to get another book carrying on with these guys & their new lifestyle/community? I hope so. This would have been a 5 star rating but I can’t due to the lack of proofreading, just a fresh set of eyes would have picked up these up immediately 🤷🏻♀️

just finished it and liked it a little less then the first book just because most of their kinks aren't mine. and where outside my comfort zone..but I enjoyed the budding relationships they have with each other. and I deff liked daddy nose ring and I forsee a book with Zack and Harlan.. atleast I hope there will be one but first we need a novella where Harlan come to visit and play with ross Matty and cal because damn all that tension and it never happend

Chastity can be dangerous. Leaving your boy in a cage without a key for two weeks it’s absolute not okay. You can’t safe word, you can’t take it out for cleaning (which is needed!) or in an emergency. This was also his first time on a cage! And the so called experienced dom not seeing a problem with that was a real kicker.

4 Very Tickled Stars!!
Im impressed...No, that doesn't happen often, yet now, I am. Daddy/Little age play is a borderline thing for me, like a tightrope. There are so many ways that can be just icky. This book might play into cliches a bit but its still damn good.
Cal & Ross are back & the lockdown is over. They are getting back to square one with their work & relationship lives. Until gets the idea to invite Matty down for some surprise fun. Then it gets REALLY fun.
Matty is a little & they figure it out as they go along. He has a locked in life 3 hrs away, so playtime is limited. Ross & Cal really step up to make the effort to include him which fulfills another dynamic in their relationship.
Cal goes back to work at the bar where he worked before & slides back into the grove. Well, until one night a customer comes in & makes some moves. Harlan comes up again but he was one thing that made me take off half a star.
Harlan starts out as a pushy ass. He hits on Cal at the bar, all night. Very blatantly asks him so time together. Cal says no he has a bf & Harlan leaves. Next you see Harlan at Ross' work place as an independent contractor. Harlan talks up going to this bar & hitting on the bartender. He comes across as if he has plans to go back & hit on Cal again but backs off when he realizes that Ross is the BF. So its ok to keep pushing yourself on someone unless you know their BF???
Ross gets a promotion & decides to take it. The plot strays from just sex all the time. The energy starts to lose focus but its still a great book !

I wanted to read this book so bad, but after it came out I was afraid to start it, because when I have high expectations it could turn out less interesting then I first thought.
But not with this book!
Ahhhhh, Cal, Ross and Matty. The ultimate perfect trio in Daddy/boy trope. Ross really is an amazing character and I loved how caring he became. It was clear on every page how much he loved both Cal and Matty. He wanted to give everything to his boys and do anything to see his boys happy. I love a caring daddy♥
Matty was really cute, but it's not a surprise. I loved him too, and it was so cute to watch him became little and explore with the lifestyle. And Cal, his big brother, awww, LOVE this whole situation!
Loved the erotic scenes but my favorite is still the same as in the first book: perfect amount of erotica and ROMANCE. Love the romance, especially this cute.
And loved Harlan and his position in their life. Ross got a really good mentor and friend, but I hoped we'd got to see some real-time action with Harlan and not just the fantasy... ;)

Ross, Cal and Matty were great, their explorations into the D/s, little dynamics were fabulous to follow - so often I read books that start with these dynamics already worked out so in this case I really enjoyed their journey.
Harlan’s guidance was an added bonus, I liked him, got a kick out of his role in mentoring a baby dom.. I can’t wait to see more of him, I hope!
I’ve only given a 3 star rating because I noticed a few inconsistencies in the story from book 1, a few spelling and grammatical mistakes, a couple of point of view errors and at one point I was like who’s Brent? Did the author mean Brennan?
These things bugged me and then at 75% of the way through I actually put the the book down in favour of a new release before picking back up and finishing it - I was a bit bored of the repetitious s$x scenes I think.

Every time I thought this was just pwp, something happened between the three of them that made me reconsider it as having more depth. It was sweet and sexy and silly, but at the same time, there was some actual feelings going on between them all. Aaaaaand then the insane sexiness would ramp up again and it was mostly pwp. Overall, rather more satisfying than I had expected!
edit: what is with the model holding the giant stuffy on the cover? The guy on the left is ovbviously Cal, which makes the one in front Matty, but that guy on the right is SOOO not the same model from book 1 as Ross. He's just...not right!

no soy muy fan de los aparatos y del bdsm en general nisiquier soy fan del mmm 😭😭 pero me leí esto pq quedé interesada con el libro anterior. La conexión que arman los 3 mcs es hermosisima, más allá del aspecto sexual del libro me gustó que si hayan conectado a los personajes, y en cuanto al aspeccto sexual del libro fue bunenisimo, abordaron kinks q a mi en lo personal no me gustan pero ni les puse mente por lo bien estructurada que estaban las escenas, no hay ningun tipo de celos o dramas tontos entre los mcs so i liked that. No tengo ni la menor idea de que sucederá en la 3era entrega pero la espero con ansias.

Cal and Ross are back and they are meeting up with Matty. They video chatted during the lockdown, as he was sort of friends with Ross in high school, and they had plenty of online fun together. But once they meet up in person sparks fly between them - and they learn, including Matty - that he is a little.
Though Matty lives several hours from them, they make more plans to be together more often and realising that they want Matty to be a permanent part of their new family unit.
Was a super cute story, lots of exploration and super high spice - it didn’t quite hit the same for me as book 1 but it was still really good and Matty was an adorable addition too.

I have to be honest I struggled with this one. After Shelter in Place, this seemed too intense too fast. I loved all the characters but I spent most of the book waiting for someone to safe word after being put into extremely (sometimes dangerous) kinky situation without prior discussion.
While it was hot (in theory), it didn't feel safe, sane, or consentual, and I had to put the book down several times.
The scene where they discovered Matty's daddy kink was sweet, but I don't understand why Cal suddenly started calling Ross that too.
Also the book was 90% sex, there really wasn't much plot given the length of it.

I liked the first book in the series, it was fun and sexy and there was good chemistry between the characters. Unfortunately the sequel goes in a completely different direction, the vibe is very different, I hated the introduction of age-play (Cal, who before felt like a very strong and decisive character, is now reduced to the "big brother" of Matty), there are some very boring parts where Ross gets advice from another dom and I had the feeling the author didn't even proofread the book, there are loads of typos.

I am loving this series so much. It's my favorite thing about the damn pandemic. It's got hot, hot sex and sweet, sweet love between three characters I've really enjoyed getting to know.
There are a ridiculous number of misspellings in the text, to the point where it started to feel like someone was pulling a prank, but it wasn't quite bad enough to detract from my enjoyment of the story.

Needs a proof reader
Um... Wow that was explicit. Went a few places I'm not hugely into but I really like the characters and stuck with it. I can kind of see where book 3 is going to go.
I really, really wished someone had proof read this though, or beta read it. There are numerous mistakes which started to bother me and the odd mistake doesn't usually

I keep reading reviews about how people are getting the real version but for some reason I keep getting the wrong book. I keep trying to get the updated version but I have no idea how. I even looked at the sample which gave me the real book, but I can never get the full version. Now I want to finish the book but I have no way to do it.

I need more!!!
This was so good. Ross, Cal, and Matty needed to be together. Their dynamic is beautiful. But now I’m wanting to know how Marty’s brother is doing. I need to know if they are all okay in the house together. And maybe a boy for Harlan. He’s such a great guy and deserves to be happy.

Cam and Ross continue their new relationship with a kink but their 2some is not complete. Matty completes their love story, and he brings his own kink. There is the question if can their relationship last, and I loved seeing the journey with his triad. I enjoyed the secondary characters and hope they get a story next.

My first MMM
First book of a poly group and I think this was a great gateway to that world. I loved the first GFY and that discovery and initial rush and the set up of having a third almost off the bat. I liked them making space for him from the beginning so it didn’t feel like an afterthought.

Never change Simon! Omg so cute!! The communication style amount the characters is chefs kiss! Gives me hope this kind of non-triggering relationship actually exists. There are a lot of spicy moments that I just LOVE! A 2.5 book with Harlan would be drool worthy!! I can only pray to the gods we get a book 3 with Harlan and Zach!!! Overall great and sweet as pie read!

A great second book with awesome further development of the characters. Even more filthy kink to keep readers panting but also a great plot. Not a standalone, so grab book 1 first - you won't be sorry!!

I loved Ross and Cal in book one. Book two was a bit more of a handful. The adding in a 3rd was great, I’m not a huge fan of age play so I struggled a bit to get through. However I’m not saying this was a bad story it’s just not my cup of tea.

I liked both books in this series and enjoyed the characters. The dirty talk in both were great. I learned about some kinks that I didn’t know existed. Some which made me uncomfortable at times but I powered on.
