Now safely gathered in Lebanon, Kansas, our survivors work with Micky Rode and the Nacogdoche Indian Tribe to train refugees of the apocalypse to become true warriors.
To find Climbing Fox Wattana, they must cross a countryside teeming with flesh-craving skinwalkers.
The skinwalkers have drawn together to form massive hordes – some wandering on their own; others amassed by Qaletaqa, an ancient Chief of the Hintoka Tribe who possesses near immortality. But he also hides a deeper secret of which few living humans are aware.
Micky’s original plan has finally come to fruition in this, the final book in the Zombie War Chronicles trilogy.
Join Micky, Cole, Georgina, Lilly, Danny, Roxy and Terry as their fierce determination drives them toward the ultimate battle for the survival of humanity.
The Scabs Trilogy in my rearview mirror, and Dead Hunger long finished, I introduce Emma's Rose: The Cave! It's my new ZOMBIE series.
It has been a while since I delved into the zombie world. I really enjoyed writing the Scabs Series, but something was pulling me . Perhaps they were dead arms, peeling and gray, reaching for flesh. My flesh.
As usual my stories are character driven. Emma's Rose is no exception. I hope you enjoy the whole new cast of characters, and the new adventure, along with the new zombies.
A HUGE thanks to all of you who have read any of my work.
Now ... about me.
Eric A. Shelman was born in 1960 in Fort Worth, Texas. He now lives in Cape Coral, Florida with his wife of thirty years, Linda.
As a long time reader of zombie stories, I will be honest and say that this trilogy is in my top 5 favorites. From book one I fell in love with the characters and felt like I was right along side of them as they fought to survive in the world that had gone to hell after the black rain had come and changed not only humans but crocs and gators into vicious, teeth chomping, skin ripping killers. Eric A. Shelman’s descriptive writing prowess not only gives you detailed visuals of the scene but also a sense of realism. There are no big, strong, gung-ho GI Joe types in this story but everyday people like you and me, which is the type of story I really enjoy. So, if you are looking for an entertaining, spine tingling, action packed, hold on to your seat, heart stopping story then this is definitely for you!
I enjoyed reading the story of these people, and all the characters they met along the way. It was a bit unconventional, but then it WAS a zombie apocalypse series, so what can you say. Lots of fun to read, and I hope you enjoy it too. Keep reading !!
I enjoyed this book and it had a fast moving plot with engaging characters. To be honest, it's been a while since I read the first two books of the series for some reason and because of that I had trouble getting back into the swing of things. About halfway through I was caught up enough to enjoy it. Someday I may head back and reread all three books in order so I can properly enjoy the trilogy.
Straight up extraordinary. The zombie apocalypse started with a new twist and ended with a very interesting twist. A great cast of characters that you will fall in love with and cheer for as they work their way through the zombie apocalypse. As with every apocalyptic future do not get too attached to any one person because they just may not survive. You will also find that humans tend to be worse than zombies in some cases. Hey and how do you go wrong with zombie gators. Read all three books and you will not be disappointed. Enjoy
The series and characters are unique. The cause of the zombie apocalypse is revealed and much different than other books! CB, Georgie, Danny, and Lily battle to save what is left of humanity with some surprising allies. I cannot imagine the the difficulty Mr. Sherman had to go through to create Damon Novak in this age of SM. Hats off to him, continuing to write when told not to! Excellent author and series!
In the thrilling conclusion of the series CB and Lilly along with the Nacogdoche tribe begin training to hunt down the man who caused the black rain that turned most of the population to zombies. The story brings the series to a satisfying ending. As always the imagination and expertise of the author shines through in this story. I highly recommend this book for any fans of the zombie apocalypse genre.
This is the last book in the Zombie War Chronicles and it was a great conclusion to an awesome series. The group are trying to end this horror and with the help of a surprising ally the story builds while keeping you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend this series if you love the zombie genre.
