Anticipation has been mounting for the fateful day when Doug collides with his past. Luisa Marietta Gold was born and educated in Pennsylvania, where she spent a large part of her adult life and worked for a large corporation. After her only daughter was born, she relocated to North Carolina, where she worked as a Realtor and began running a recreational business with her husband. She currently resides on eleven acres near a lake reminiscent of the Rideau lake chain that provides the setting for The Osprey Cove Lodge Series. The series was born from her love of that region of Canada, the outdoors, and lake life. Many years were spent enjoying the Rideau, staying in lodges, and for a time, her privately-owned cottage. Among her many interests are painting, cooking, baking. And of course, writing and storytelling. But it's the simple things of life that bring the most enjoyment -- the beauty of the trees outside the window of her writing room as they change with the seasons and watching her outdoor kitties interact and play. Nearly all of these interests and life experiences are reflected in her books.
I have read all 12 books and at the beginning of number 12, I thought I really need to read something else for awhile. . . . .however, when I got to the end, I was so intrigued by the possibilities, I just dove into book 13. Ms. Luisa really has me hooked. There are so many characters and so many, many possibilities that I simply couldn't put it down. Well done Lusia Marietta Gold!!
We knew this was coming, but my goodness. Dougie wants to live part-time wth Doug, Flynn has moved to Key West. And what is going to happen with Amber and Michael and that situation?
I loved that this story is finally coming together
So disappointed that we didn't finally finish this saga of Doug & his wives. Just be aware the next book doesn't come out til spring & we are hanging on a cliff. But i wouldn't give up reading this story, because it has so many twists & turns. If you like a good read be sure & start with book1, because there is little backtracking to tell you who, what & why. I am loving the entire experience reading of these books.
I have read all twelve of the Osprey Cove books and can't wait for the next one to come out. I thoroughly enjoyed every one of them and each one got better. All of the adventures of the characters are great to follow. Highly recommend to all.
WOW, another faboulus adventure of all concerned. I don't want to write anything so I don't spoil the fun for other readers but things are getting more and more exiting for everybody. I can't wait for the next book!
I read this entire series from start to finish. Each book was great, related well and was complete unto itself. Then along came book 12. It was such a disappointment that I will not read any more of this author's books.

What an ending! I have been waiting months to finally read this one page ending. I think I have my fill with this series. If it continues, well good luck without me.
