An Interesting Read

In case you were wondering, the main plot of this book is the relationship. POTENTIAL SPOILERS…There’s actually a lot to unpack, initially it’s very obviously NonCon and all kinds of shady then it leans towards DubCon and eventually Consensual with BDSM thrown in. The BDSM aspect is NOT present at the outset, it might be suggested and it does include acts that are commonly used in BDSM but it’s very definitely not done from the start. Cassidy is compelled and pushed into sexual acts detailed as punishment for trespassing. One of the alphas even mentions hoping for Stockholm Syndrome to present itself in Cassidy, as well as gaslighting her. In my mind a physiological response is not considered as consent.

When things are eventually in safe territory the standard cliches of “the top is always right and the bottom is always wrong” applies (even when it’s obviously not the case).

That all probably sounds critical but it’s not intended as such. It is an erotic story which for the most part well written. I probably will read the other books in the series but largely because they’re on KU.

Surrender to the Alpha’s

I must say I loved this book and it’s kinky BDSM action was absolutely amazing.I have read this entire series and loved them all! They way you tell there story you are descriptive with every detail.it just flows together so beautifully. This is the only one out of the series that actually took a different route from the other stories in this one they didn’t get married or have kids right away. If they did it wasn’t that it was told in much detail as the other ones. But I like it just like the others well I I don’t like them I actually love them the entire series. They are definitely a must read especially if you like to have some spice in your stories …

A paranormal romance that falls on the darker side. The story is told from Cassidy’s point of view. One very unique thing about this story is the different type of shifters. Cassidy is a bat shifter and all the men are also something unique. We see her shift quite a bit. For the men you see it more in how the interact and little in how they look. Now the men are also all alphas, so you know what to expect from them. Cassidy doesn’t know how to stay out of trouble and when she goes snooping on the four alphas she will be taught a lesson.

Cassidy was a reporter for a newspaper and going on an assignment that was rather dangerous. The Alphas she was spying on Richmond, Jacob, Trey and Oakley found out and she was in trouble. In between all they all fall for each other. Will they make it work? Good read.

I really enjoyed reading this story. I love the world-building where there is a town that has humans and shifters of all types living together. Granted, the humans don't know there are shifters around them. The characters were fantastic! You can feel and understand their emotions, it comes right through. This is the fifth story in the Waxing Crescent series, but this is a stand-alone story.

Cassidy is a journalist bat shifter. She got a tip about something and wants to cover it. She is tired of doing all the fluff stories. She works for a shifter newspaper about shifter issues and such. Her boss doesn't want her to follow her tip because it could be dangerous, but if she wants to follow through and doesn't get caught and/or hurt, he would love the story. She follows the tip, survives, writes the story and now she is a hero at work. Until it is found out that it was a hoax. The story wasn't true, but since she had broken into an Alpha's home, after writing the story which involved him, he feels he has the right to punish her. When she comes back a couple days later to try to trap them into admitting what they did, she gets caught out again, and is punished again. By the time the punishment is up, she doesn't want to leave.

Richmond, bison Alpha, Trey the tortoise Alpha, Oakley, the vulture Alpha, and Jacob the mountain goat Alpha were all friends and were in the middle of trying to unite the Waxing Crescent town with the Waining Crescent town shifters. They sent a false tip out through someone they didn't trust and they passed it on to the newspaper. They knew they were being overheard and went along with the false story, until after she left. The day the false story came out in the newspaper, they let her know it was all false. She should have stayed around a little longer and she would have gotten the correct story. They weren't happy with how they were portrayed in her story. When she broke into Richmond's home to find incriminating evidence, she gets caught and she gets punished for her brattiness. A few days later she tries to record them admitting what they did before, she gets caught and gets punished even longer. By the time her punishment is over, she doesn't want to leave, and that is fine with them. They enjoy being around here, even when she is a little bratty. The more they are around her, the more they want her to stay.

Cassidy is an omega, a bat shifter who works for the news paper called the Waning Crescent Shifter Post. She has information that might just turn out to be a great story. On the say so of her boss ,that night she turns herself into a bat to spy on Richmond, Trey,Oakley and Jacob four alphas, on hearing what she thinks is going to be a great story she takes it to the press, only to find out that she totally got it all wrong, it was a set up. Made up to look foolish she goes back to the Alpha Richmonds house only to get trapped. She is then punished only to find she enjoyed what they gave her. She is let go but she cant help but keep on coming back to the men time and time in her dreams. She finally gives in and goes to see them once more , falling into a relationship with all of them but can their be trust between them all when she learns about a meeting she is not invited to.

This story is really enjoyable i love these stories that Jasmine Writes, they are hot, sexy and definately worthy of a five star rating also really recommandable

Cassidy is a bat shifter who is working for the local shifter newspaper. She has been given a tip about the towns alphas having secret meetings. She decides that she can be present at these meetings without being seen as her shifter. She attends the meeting and learns the alphas plan to attack the neighbouring alphas and take over their packs.
Cassidy writes her story and it is published, she goes out the next day to see if she can get more on the story. She flies to the farmhouse that belongs to Richmond, there is an open window, when Cassidy is inside, the window is closed. Too late, only to discover that she fell into a trap.
The alphas Richmond, Jacob,Trey and Oakley take her to the dungeon where she is held captive in a BDSM utopia. There are lots of steamy scenes and lots of love and action in this book.
Cassidy and the alphas work out their differences and they all have their happily ever after.

Cassidy has had a tip off and hopes to get a story on the four Alphas.
Reporter and bat shifter Cassidy has gotten a tip off that the four alphas who control the shifters coalition in town are having a secret meeting so she shifts into her bat shape and flies to the location where the meeting is supposed to take place. Arriving before the Alphas she finds herself a place to roost it the roof and waits for the Alphas to turn up. When they arrive she is surprised when they start talking about merging with the shifter coalition in the next town. Normally this means subduing the other shifter so Cassidy thinks they are talking bloodshed. She heads home before they finish and writes and sent an article to the paper she works for. But she has been caught in a trap the Alphas had set for someone else and it all goes wrong. She heads back to the ranch to find proof but gets caught.

OMG GUYS NEED TO READ THIS BOOK.
IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT.
I DONT WANT TO GIVE TOO MUCH AWAY BUT ITS ABOUT A WOMAN, A BAT SHIFTER OMEGA WHO IS A REPORTER. SHE CANT KEEP HER NOSE OUT OFF ALPHA BUISNESS SO ONE NIGHT SHE GOES OFF TO FOLLOW A STORY ABOUT 4 ALPHAS. BUT IT DOESNT GO TO PLAN. SOMEONE HAS LIED
THE 4 ALPHAS ARE NOT SILLY AND THEY KNOW WHAT THEY WANT.
YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED ITS A FANTASTIC READ. THE CHEMISTRY IS OFFFFFFFF THE CHARTS. THE BANTER IS SO GOOD AND THE STORYLINE IS BRILLIANT.

The storyline is ok. I did not like how the Alphas trapped Cassidy and basically forced her to their will and raped her. A dungeon sex swing is not a kind, loving, caring , or romantic way to lose your virginity. Non con is still non con and the alphas never apologized or provided any after care. They're all different shifters but there was no shifting together with their pack. Or showing day to day pack activities. She was not presented to the pack as their mate. No mating or marriage ceremony. No epilogue showing them all together with children. Just disappointing.

Surrender to the Alphas by Jasmine Mills is an amazing story that I have had the privilege to read and fell in love with this story. This is book number five in this amazing series writen by a brand new author for me to read. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about dark erotica, dark romance, reverse harem and paranormal romances in their stories as much as I love them.

I love shifter stories, and this has some animal shifters that I haven’t read in other books, that alone perks me interest and wins the book another star for being a bit different. This is a wonderfully written reverse harem female omega and male alpha story. I really enjoyed this story from start to finish, the plot is brilliant, the characters are great, there is nothing to not like about this book!

A must read

I would recommend this book to everyone!!!! What a wonderful and enjoyable book. I loved all the characters involved! This book flowed from 1 chapter to the next. I'm hoping that these characters are in the next book from Jasmine. Jasmine you are a magnificent storyteller!!!!
