am so loving this series, each book is quick and a cute read.
Ford has built a career in law enforcement and was devastated when he had to turn his partner as a dirty cop, but his world changed in a way he wasn’t expecting when he was out exercising seeing one of his sisters old friends in town he is shocked by how she looks and how much he desires her. But she’s only in town for a few days and he knows he can’t let her walk away but will he get a chance to show her a life she could have or will this end in tragedy?
Ali is in town to sort out her late grandmothers house, instead of returning for thanksgiving she’s returning to sell her childhood home. Knowing she’s on the larger size she’s trying to keep in shape and the last man she expected to run into was Ford, her fantasy man from her teenage years. There was never a chance he would look at her then and she thinks even less chance now, she off limits as his sisters friend or so she thought. Ford makes it clear he wants her and that has her running scared. Will she take a chance or will she lose the man she loves?

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Ford knows Ali, because she was one of his sister's Abby's friends. Ford sees a woman at the community center and thinks he knows her. When Ali is walking around she can sense someone is watching her when she turns she stumbles when she sees Ford Tate. Ford reaches out and catches her before she falls. Ali had a huge crush on Ford when she was in high school, but she was the skinny girl back then. Now Ali has curves and she wants to lose a little weight. Ford and Ali walk and talk he finds out she is almost done with college, she is home on Thanksgiving break working on cleaning out her grandmother's home, she needs to sell it, her grandmother passed away a few weeks ago. Ford invites Ali to his parents house for Thanksgiving but she tells him she has to much stuff to do at her grandmother's house to get it ready to sell. Ford asks her if she'll be coming home after she graduates but Ali tells him she doesn't know what she'll be doing. Ford walks Ali to her car and tells her he'll see her tomorrow when she walks. After Ford walks away Ali notices a man standing and watching them in the shadows, after she starts to pull away she notices him watching Ford. The next day Ali goes out with Abby to a new pub in town. Abby invites Ali to her over for Thanksgiving she lets her know it's the second invitation she's received. Ali tells Abby she met her brother, Ford at the community center. Abby asks her how did that go, since she knew Ali had a hug crush on her brother in high school. They walk the block to the dance club, after they find a table they see Ford and Brent walking towards them. They try to talk over the loud music, they give up and Ali and Abby go out on the floor to dance. Ford sees Ali smile for the first time and she looks carefree. When a slow song comes on a man approaches Ali and Abby. Ford and Brent stand at the same time heading towards the girls. Ford grabs Ali and starts to dance with her, she asks him what if she wanted to dance with that man. Ford asks her if she did, she tells him no. Ford asks her what about him, does she want to dance with him, Ali tells him yes. Ford tells her even if she did want to dance with someone else he wouldn't let her. When she questions him he leans in and kisses her, after they break apart Ford realizes he made Ali uncomfortable and promised not to kiss her again until she asks. After a few more drinks and the girls are tired Ford offers to take Ali home. When Ford arrives at her house he asks her if it's alright if he double checks her house then he'll leave. Ali tells him he doesn't have to check but he tells her he'll sleep better if he does. Ford tells Ali he'll see her in the morning, she looks puzzled so he tells her when she walks. He tells her to lock her door when he leaves then he heads home. Ali gets ready the next morning and heads to the community center, Ford is already there. When he comes around he walks beside her. Ali tells him she slept good and Ford tells her he didn't sleep well. Ford tells her he can't get their kiss off his mind. Ali tells him he doesn't have to walk with her she doesn't want to hold him back, but he tells her she's not he wants to walk with her. Then Ali remembers the man she seen yesterday and he's there again today. He's watching Ford again so Ali get out and hollers to Ford. She mets him halfway to tell him about the strange man watching him. Ford tells her he's got somethings going on at work, and he thinks he brought them home. Ford tells Ali she's going to have to come with him. Ali doesn't understand, he tells her because the man seen them together she's in danger. Ford helps Ali into his truck telling her to get down a little. Ford spots the man as he drives away he notices the man getting into a four door black car. Ford soon realizes it's his ex-partners father. Ford calls the station and talks to his captain, he gets someone stationed outside his mom's house. Ford explains what is going on and he needs them to stay inside until he can handle the situation. Ali tells Ford she doesn't understand why she needs protection. He tells Ali the man knows she mean something to him, because Ford can’t do his job and be worrying about her, because before anything else, he has to know that she's okay. He need her to stay and hang out with his Mom. Ford tells her he'll be back as soon as he can. Ali asks him if he'll kiss her, so he does. Ford tells her he needs to go, so she tells him to take care of himself. Ford asks her if he'll get another kiss when he comes back and Ali nods to him. Ali heads into the kitchen and sees that Ford's mom has all the fixings for pies, and desserts. Ali asks her what she can help with, and she tells her to start on the apples. Ali thanks her for coming to her grandmother's funeral, but Ford's mom tells her she doesn't have to thank her she wanted to be there. Then she tells Ali to call her Janice. Ali and Janice talk while they makes the pies for Thanksgiving. They spend the rest of the day working side by side in the kitchen, it’s probably the best day Ali's had in a long time. Even though she's worried about Ford. When Ali hears the front door open later in the afternoon she rushes to see who it is. When she sees it's Ford she wants to run into his arms but she doesn't. When Ford sees Ali he opens his arms for her and she launches herself at him. Ali tells him she's glad he's aright, he tells her of course he is she promised him a kiss. When his mom comes in Ford tells them they didn't get him but he wasn't breaking any laws. Ford went and talked to him, he thinks he has some hatred built up. Ford tells him mom he's stealing her help, Janice tells Ali she expects to see her tomorrow. Ali doesn't argue, she doesn't want to disappoint her. Ali thanks Ford for today even under the circumstances, she enjoyed spending the time with his mom. Ford tells her he knows his mom appreciated Ali's help. Ford tells Ali he brought a bag with clothes with him, he wants to stay with her and help her pack up her grandmother's things, since he wasted a whole day for her. Ali asks him why he really wants to stay. Ford tells her because all he think about is her, he knows she leave on Sunday, but he want to spend time with her. They carry his things inside, and start eating. Ali asks him if he has off tomorrow and he does. After they eat they start on a guest bedroom, Ford finds an old album and starts looking through it. When Ali sees what he has she tells him no that's embarrassing. Ford tells her she's beautiful and she tells him she was beautiful. Ford tells her she's beautiful right now. Ali leans in and kisses Ford, she soon realizes she wants him. Ford sets down the album then kisses her up and down her neck. Ali tells him she wants him, he tells her he wants her too. Ali watches as a black four door car peals away. Ali starts screaming at Ford to be alright, she applies pressure where she sees blood. Ali pulls his phone out of his pocket and calls 911 telling them an officers has been shot. Ford tells Ali to go inside in case they come back, but she tells him she's not leaving him. Minutes pass by soon the whole front yard is filled with multiple police cars and ambulances. They start working on Ford and Ali moves away, then they asks her if she's alright. When they load Ford in the back of the ambulance she climbs in with him, but a Detective stops her, he tells her he has questions. Ali tells him she needs to go with Ford and he can met her at the hospital. Ali tells him she believes it's his ex-partners dad it was the same car. Ali takes Ford's hand and tells him she loves him too, she was just scared, but nowhere near as scared as she is now, she can’t lose him. When they get to the hospital Ali takes Ford's phone and calls his mom Janice then she call his sister Abby. They took Ford back to surgery as soon as they got there. All of Ford's family is there along with every cop in town. When the surgeon comes through the door everyone jumps to their feet. Janice pulls me to the front with her he asks for Mrs. Tate, his mother answers for Ali, and tells him yes and she's his mother. Ford arrives home and he hold his arms out for Ali, he asks her what's going on. Ali tells him they have to move the wedding up. Ford asks her what changed her mind, she tells him he's going to be a daddy. Ford is the happiest man alive. Ali goes to visit her grandmother's grave, she keeps her updated on what is going on in her life. Ford's family has taken Ali in and made her part of the family but she still misses her grandma. Ali tells her grandma she's having a baby, she'll make sure they know who she is. She tells her grandma she wanted to tell her she was right, she found someone who make her feel like she's the most beautiful woman in the world. A man who will put all her needs before his own, and loves her like she's never been loved before. She tells her grandma she doesn't have to worry about her anymore, she's happy but she'll always miss her grandmother. Ali turns to look at Ford who is walking towards her, he tells her let's go home. They walk hand in hand toward their future.

A Thankful Thanksgiving
This was another great story from Hope Ford. I've really enjoyed getting to know the Tate family through this series.
Ali is a HS friend of Abby Tate, back in town after her grandmother's passing. A chance encounter with Ford resparks t,he HS crush she had and Ford is instantly enamoured with Ali.
As always I enjoy that Hope has curvy leading ladies in her stories and often with a little body insecurity. It makes these characters relatable and puts curvy girls in a good light.
A little bit of intrigue mixed into this tender and sweet romance was the perfect blend to keep this story moving.
I have a soft spot for Tate family matriach Janice and I think it would be neat to get a Tate parents prequel!

Thanksgiving Meet Cute
We’ve been waiting for Fords story as Abby and Jackson got their’s. I can honestly say it was a bit unexpected in a good way. I enjoyed the story and its storyline brought something new to the series. It can definitely be read as a stand-alone. As all of the books are rather short I would recommend reading them all in order as it will help you understand all of the characters.

Oh my goodness this is by far my favorite in the series this far! Talk about an emotional rollercoaster! The last few chapters had me flying high and then in tears a couple different times. Second chance love at first sight wrapped up in a beautiful happily ever after! I can't wait to see what comes next!

Ah I just adored Ali she is a lady I can see being friends with. And Ford is perfect for her. They are adorable for one another. Curious for the other brother's story now when he comes home for Christmas.

A truly beautiful love story
This book had me in tears in some spots. Ali and Ford were so good together. Her beloved grandmother passed and her home had a second mortgage which Ali couldn't pay. She decides to sell her home. Ford, a police officer, had a big time problem at work. The intrigue and upheaval when Ali wanted to breakup with Ford was good. Really enjoyed this book. Written by Cindy :)

And h has been out in an impossible position but he knows what to do. What he doesn’t expect is to bump into Ali, catch feels and then have his work life clash with his personal one.

Ford is book three in the ‘’Tate family holiday’s’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Ford is a police officer that has just had to report his partner of ten years for theft of evidence. Whilst at the running track he spots a friend of his sisters and he decides he wants her. Ali is back in her hometown after her grandmother’s death. She needs to clear her childhood home before she heads to college whilst facing losing her home. Ali has always had a crush on Ford but she is surprised when he returns the attraction.
The chemistry between Ford and Ali is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. Ford and Ali made a cute couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more from Hope Ford.

Ford is undercover and unfortunately is lying with the dragons and his family is not happy but they understand. A great family bond is nice to see and expanding is too include more to Europe into the family is comforting. This is a great reminder that your family wants the best someone that fits & makes you happy. He knows All and he pushed her off as "off limits" until his match makers sister puts them together for an events then complications arrise.......or the fun begins. V2S1.5 This is quick read I suggest a perfect lunchtime read (get the series...a week of dreamy romance with some suspense).

Quick and loving
Ali is a student who comes home to sell her Grams house over Thanksgiving but she finds what she didn’t know she was missing in an old friend. She is unsure of what life will bring when she has to leave and the good Lord steps in to make her she what she could lose. OMG!
I enjoyed this story so much, but I enjoy all Hope's short stories. I was a little worried that Ford wasn't going to a likeable character, see Hope's other story. The whole dating his brother's ex but he is really a stand up guy. You will love him. Can't wait for her next story.
