Fairy Tale Princesses Like You’ve Never Seen Them Before… 10 Champions destined to defeat an evil that threatens to wipe out the land of Fantasia...
Book 1: SNOW
Hair black as night, lips red as blood, skin white as snow. Beautiful. Ethereal. Enchanting. Profitable.
Bought and sold for male entertainment, Neva Valkoinen, or Snow White, as patrons know her, dances for the wealthy and lecherous at the Wicked Lyre Tavern in the city of Ascor.
Void of her memories, Neva’s life before the age of twelve, is a mystery she has no time to solve, chained as she is to the cruel whims of her master.
Enter Herrick Vorst. The most handsome stranger Neva’s ever seen. Herrick purchases a night with Neva but doesn’t touch her. Instead, he asks her questions she can’t answer and reveals his belief that she’s a witchling capable of great magic.
When Neva is purchased by another stranger a few nights later, she learns this one wants her heart. To carve out.
Narrowly escaping certain death, Herrick comes to Neva’s rescue and brings her back to his cottage where she meets his brothers, Reve and Malvolo. Reve is currently stuck in the land of dreams, courtesy of a curse. And Malvolo is surly, letting it be known he wants nothing to do with Neva. Well, he might want something to do with her body…
With no other options, Neva is forced to put her trust and hope into these three sinfully sexy brothers who hide a secret of their own…
Searching for answers to her past, the four embark on a journey into the shadowy world of magic and monsters, wars and treachery, and lustful desire.
Something dark brews on the horizon. A huntsman lurks in every shadow. But nothing can keep Neva’s mind from her burning need for Reve’s touch in the land of dreams, for Herrick’s stolen kisses and for Malvolo’s all-consuming hunger.

The Happily Never After Series: 1. Snow 2. Goldy 3. Aria 4. Rose
I like these fairytale retellings. The dragons were a nice touch but nothing else caught my attention enough to want to continue the next book of the series...
I really enjoyed the story overall, just some inconsistencies, spelling and grammar issues. Lots of unanswered questions, I didn’t really enjoy the harem, for one, they didn’t want to share, but ultimately did. Another, they were all brothers, but still seemed to participate in sex all together. That’s weird for me, let alone brothers sharing one woman. The story fell kind of flat, and I felt like there could have been a lot more depth to the story. I’m still undecided if I’m going to read the next one.
It started out good and interesting, but when it became clear that the harem was with Neva and three brothers i felt it got wierd and made it quickly to a turn off. So, then i got bored, but i finished it. Don`t think i`ll be picking up the other books.
This was aflippingmazing!! The world that has been created is unrivaled! The amount of interweaving while keeping so many aspects of the original story intact is astounding! I already ordered the rest of the series!
This book. I admit I was a bit hesitant because I love my fairy tale retellings... so I wasn't sure if I would be into a reverse harem....of the innocent Snow White.
And omg. I was wrong. So so very wrong. I can already tell you this is my favorite book of the year. Once I was able to sit and read it... I could not put it down... and I am sleep deprived.
This story was worth the lack is sleep.
This series has a really good mystery who are the 10 destined to save the realm. Thanks to the description we know which characters but who are they in the prophecy???
And boy oh boy. The men in this book ***fans myself"
This book is a fun page turner with an awesome world and story. It is red hot with some delicious men!
This was a satisfyingly fun read. Not sure yet if the characters came alive well enough to continue on with the series, but I would never make that judgment off just the first book. I look forward to trying out part two in the series.
This is the first book in this series. It was free on Amazon. It's absolutely amazing! Usually I wait to finish reading a book before I buy others in the series, but at about 20% in, I already knew I was buying the rest. The characters are original. Cool names. Bits and pieces of traditional fairytale characters thrown in. Can't wait to read the next one.
When I read the description for this book I initially thought 'it sounds like a heap of crap, I must read it' and I was pleasantly surprised. The story flowed quite nicely, and for once there was a story with the spice. I cannot stand reading a 'book' that is 95% porn. The reverse harem was fun, and a first for me.
Obviously this isn't based on our childhood Disney version of Snow White, that would be extremely creepy, so it's nice that the whole evil Queen wants her dead didn't actually play out until the very very end, a little more than a chapter so hopefully this can be explored more in the following books, with either flashbacks or memories. I know these will be about different princesses but they're interlocking so I'm sure the true evil behind the Queen will have a bit more page time.
I liked that Snow was essentially the delicate flower we know her to be but as the story progressed we find that she does actually have a spine, and some thorns. However her tendency to spiral downwards is disappointing, "oh the big bad magical person can't help me, woe is me" kind of depressing mentality.
I'm also disappointed there wasn't really any more action, we have the chapters at the beginning of the book where someone is trying kill her and the chapters at the end of the book where someone is trying to kill her but the middle has barely any substance except for the sex and the crazy jealousy felt by one or two of the brothers, a jealousy that any monogamous person can understand, but also anyone familiar with dragon lore also does, their ability to share between brothers doesn't seem to sit right when it finally comes down to who Snow wants and the fact that they've done this before between 7 of them seems a little too far fetched. Personally I wouldn't be sharing a person with my sibling and especially not at the same time, it's a little too taboo for my liking.
Although I liked the book, and it was definitely an easy read, I think the lack of middle is it's undoing. It really had no substance in its 300+ pages, with only a little oomph at the beginning and the end. I daresay that quite a few will enjoy this and I will continue on with the series because of how easy it was, the just right balance of sex to story, and I'm also intrigued about this Morningstar (although the name is essentially a tip of the hat to Lucifer and not really a new creation, neither are the hellhounds), and how 10 girls are expected to defeat him, let's hope it's a battle and not an orgy.

Lured in by the zombie cover, I realised in chapter 1 that I’ve read this before, when it was originally published under Plum Pascale. Snow aka Neva Valkoinen isn’t a zombie like the cover suggests. Unbeknown to herself, she is a powerful mage, but a broken one - working for food/lodgings/coke as an exotic dancer at age 18 in a tavern whose innkeeper hoards her to himself while he lets everyone else salivate over her. This book is adults only with a series of schmexy scenes with different dragon brothers. I’m not too keen on the RH version, but I did like the dragons - Reeve, Herrick and Malvolo (they were all very different and turned the dwarves part of the tale on its head); I also loved all the hints at other tales in the series - Belle, Goldie, Hattie. And how Herrick coaxed Neva back to thinking about herself in a positive way - swoon. Thieving Goldie was a fun interlude.
Trigger warnings: substance abuse, rape (not in too much detail on the page), swearing (lots of f words), RH.
If you like 18+ spicy retellings for adults with multiple dragon partners (RH), this one might be up your alley.

Snow: A Snow White Dark Fairy Tale Retelling Happily Never After, Book 1 By: H.P. Mallory Narrated by: Shiloh James
H.P. Mallory puts her own dark and twisted spin on several classic fairy tales starting with “Snow White”, the first in her “Happily Never After” series and wow, what a start it is. The characters and storylines are are fascinating and imaginative, they grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. Neva Valkoinen aka Snow is basically a slave and has been forced to work for a dirtbag who uses her as he pleases and pawns her to any man willing to pay. She wants out of her life so badly and when a handsome stranger offers her an out she is hesitant to take it, she has little faith and trust in men. But when a huntsman attempts to kill her she escapes and lands on the same person who wanted to help her, Herrick Vorst, who helps her get away from the hunter and brings her to his world. Herrick sensed the magic around Neva but she has no idea of who or what she is because a spell was cast that took away all her memories. Herrick has to find a way to for her to get her memories back, she is the key to saving the land of Fantasia. Neva meets Herrick’s brothers, first Malvolo, the grumpy brother who thinks she is nothing but trouble at first and then Reve, who she sees in her dreams. Malvolo finally comes around and Neva gets Reve back into their lives with the help of another. This is a great start to what is going to be an amazing series, the author laid down the foundation for what is to come, the world building and character growth is phenomenal. I love how she is bringing together all these characters from different fairytales and the worlds they are from, it is definitely intriguing and so is the different paranormal characters, shifters, witches, hellhounds and more. This wonderfully written and cleverly plotted story has plenty of drama, angst, action twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance, reverse harem style. H.P. Mallory, thank you for this great story and wild ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the great narration, H.P. Mallory cast the perfect narrator to bring her characters and story to life. Shiloh James was fabulous at covering the roles for both the male and female characters giving each their own distinct voice, making it easy to follow along and tell who was who. She had a complete understanding of the characters she portrayed and was believable in every role she played. She set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them in to her performance making you feel every single one. Ms. James is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this fantastic listen.

This is the first book in the Happy Never After Series by H.P Mallory, and I absolutely loved the book! Fantasia is split up into multiple different kingdoms that we all have grown to love, with characters we adore but H.P Mallory has turned everything on its side and made it completely new!
Throughout each book in the Happy Never After Series you will follow one of the Chosen, there are Ten in total. Each of these Chosen, are here to fight in the upcoming war against Morningstar and his 7 Generals. Fantasia already barely scraped by in the first war with him roughly 15 years ago, but the seals they imprisoned him behind are quickly being broken and a new war will begin soon.
Snow, is a dancer in a tavern, one of the best dancers to be precise. But none of her customers see the bruises her master Darius leaves on her body day after day, purposely in places that won't make her (more so him) lose money. She stays only because she is fed and has a roof over her head - also Darius supplies her with the drug that at least makes all of the pain and abuse bareable. But that all changes when a mysterious man buys a night with her- telling Snow things that possibly cant be true. Then within a short amount of time another man attempts to take her life, making Snow wonder how this cannot be a coincidence and is forced to trust Herrick, the first mystery man.
After many twists and turns, Snow whose real name is Neva, falls in love with not one but three dragons. Neva sets out to figure out why her memories have been completely wiped from before she started staying at the tavern with Darius's father and her world is turned upside down, but also for the better. She is a Chosen One and she will do everything in her power to make sure Morningstar does not win the war that is coming.
There is soooo much character development in this book and also H.P Mallory does an amazing job at explaining several of the different Kingdoms they go through. I definitely recommend this series to people who love fairytales with a twist!!

Neva works for a man named Darius dancing at his tavern. He takes advantage of her, abusing her in all ways. On night she sees a stranger in the crowd, she could not stop looking at him. He seems to have paid Darius to spend the night with her. She thinks the worst, he was a gentleman. He was asking all sorts of questions. Darius is even worst after that point, she uses the drugs to numb her to her life. One night Darius says she is having a male visitor and for her to go upstairs. When the man shows, she knows he wants to hurt her. She runs for her life. She literally falls into Herrick. He saves her life, but asks her all sorts of questions she doesn't have the answer too. He takes her home to let her rest and try to help her. Where Neva will meet his one brother and meet his other brother in dreams What Herrick doesn't know is what kind of journey Neva will take the brothers one.
This is a really good story, it is rollercoaster ride of action, steamy romance, mystery of who Neva is and why her memories where taken. Once you start reading this story, you will not stop. I just gave a basic description of some of what I read, I am not giving out to much, you have to read this. You will enjoy the authors telling of the fairytale.
I received an ARC copy of this book, this is my honest opinion.
I'm not going to leave a star review, because it would be a 1 for me. But honestly, I think I may need to come back to this a different time and try again and see if I'm interested. As it stands, I tried reading for over a week. I can read a book in a day. I could not get into this. I did not like Neva at all and had such a hard time trying to force myself to keep going. The reason I would try and come back: I had just read a really great book and I think anything else just isn't going to do it for me right now. Hence the lack of a star review.
What I didn't like: The characters. Nearly all of them. I think I'd be more interested in Goldie and Belle's story because Snow just did not do it for me. I did not like the brothers. I didn't feel like there was enough back story for me to feel more attached to them. There were a lot of holes and some lack of details. I wish we could have had some more descriptions to make it a bit darker than what it was. Like maybe the detail of her seeing the guy who held her hostage for so long, have her witness the death and spell it out in detail. I also felt like there was too much of corny cringe for my taste.
What I did like: The premise. I think this series could have promise but because of not being so interested in this one, I don't know if I'll move forward to the next ones. Like I said, I will need to come back to it another time.
Excellent shapeshifter tale, it is the first in a new series. This is the first I have read of this genre and I was surprised at how good it was to read. It is the story of a girl who was working as a dancer, an erotic dancer. Neva Valkoinen is working for a cruel user of a man who treats her badly at times. She has no memory of her childhood before the age of 12, and she wants to remember. Herrick Vorst comes into the picture and rescues her from her task master because he can tell she has magic in her. he takes her to meet his two brothers, Malvolo and Reve. In order to retrieve her memories, the four of them embark on a journey of searching for Neve's magic. Their fascinating adventures are spellbinding. The book is very well written with plenty of descriptive text to keep the reader enthralled. There is a lot of sexual antics, magical battles, and strange creatures in this story of adventure on the hunt. The story is told in chapters about the point of view of the four of them taking turns to tell it. Very well written and a pleasure to read. I am sure the rest of the series will be as good.
Neva Valkoinen is better known as Snow White. She has no memories before the age of 12, when she got in Ascor. *Trigger warning for sexual assault and substance abuse.
"Hair black as night, lips red as blood, skin white as snow. Beautiful. Ethereal. Enchanting."
She is used for profit, to dance for men, to keep her room. When Herrick enters, she doesn't understand what he wants from her. He treats her differently than other men.
The world, Fantasia, includes various fairy tale lands, like Wonderland, Sweetland, The Hollows, Enchanted Forests, Neverland Islands, and more... There are also different species within this world, and it works to separate the lands and voices within the story.
The 'seven dwarves' - as we know them from the classic fairy tale - are replaced by another mythical creature. Four of them were lost in a war, while one was cursed to a deep sleep. The only thing I'm not so clear on is the Acolytes of Gryphus. But this sparks my interest to continue reading this series, hoping there is more to learn...
I'm not rating this because it's not my usual wheelhouse/genre/etc, so I can't give it a fair assessment. I got taken in by the cover, I'm a sucker for a dark fairytale retelling, but somehow missed that this is part of a reverse harem series(I quite obviously didn't read the description!) and less horror then the cover implied(at least to me!). It's not a bad story, the world building could have been a bit more developed and the character development was kind of slap-dash but it's also novella length with a total of 10 in the series. So it's possible the world gets fleshed out more as you continue and for the length the character development was well balanced with plot furthering. The writing itself was pretty good and I would try the author again with a different series. I was actually able to finish this and while I'm intrigued by the overall story, I'm unlikely to follow it to the end because it's ultimately just not for me. Kudos to that cover artist though! Every installment is gorgeous!
Neva Valkoinen, known as Snow White to the patrons of the Wicked Lyre Tavern in the city of Ascor, hates her life. She longs for escape. Neva just never dreams of the things she'll have to do to get it. Thank goodness for her handsome savior, Herrick Vorst.
Neva cannot believe the things Herrick says about her. How could she possibly be a witchling? She has no memory of any powers. Hopefully, delving into her past will get her the answers she so desperately needs.
I haven't read many reverse harem novels, but when I do read them, they're by author Plum Pascal. Her latest series, HAPPILY NEVER AFTER is fun and unique. I love the adult fairytale storyline. There was never a boring moment in the first novel, SNOW. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I cannot wait to read book two, GOLDY.
Let me start off by saying that this is my second book by Plum Pascal; I fell in love! Great writing, storyline and entertaining. I thought that I added a new Author to my collection of favs. However, after a simple Google search I found that she is H.P. Mallory!
I really enjoyed this read. I love the play on fairytale names and places. It had all of the elements for a good paranormal novel: Excitement, romance, paranormal creatures and humor. I wanted for nothing in this read. I immediately purchased book 2, Also through iTunes (instead of my normal Kindle) before I got halfway through. So I will be reading that soon.
Neva Valkoinen, aka Snow White, is bought and sold for men's entertainment, and hates it. She has no memories prior to the age of 12 and no time to try and find out why. She is a sex slave without any time of her own. One night, she is bought by Herrick Vorst who deduces Snow must be a witchling. Later, when another patron threatens her, she narrowly escapes with the aid of Herrick Vorst. Enter Herrick's two brothers. What begins is Snow's venture into a reverse-harem romance while attempting to seek out her past.
I enjoyed this adult-themed fairytale retelling. The story is engaging and I couldn't put it down. There are some potential triggers in Snow so read with caution.
What a fabulous retelling of Snow White. It is extremely well written and the characters are beautifully developed. It is packed with action, drama, suspense, a bit of mystery and it all makes it completely intriguing and addictive. It has some sexy scenes that an extra element to it. I loved the chemistry between Neva and her guys. The support characters give the story extra laughter and drama. This does end in a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. It is most definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.
This book was amazing! Snow/Neva is a dancer and she is abused and treated so badly by her "step-brother". My heart hurt so much when I read all that Snow went through. She escapes and lives with three dragons that are trying to help her get her memories back. There is a whole lot going on in this book, action, steam, love! The way Snow is treated at the beginning may be triggering for some, just wanted to warn you.
Has some darker thematic points. Ok, quite a bit dark & pretty heavy language. As always, author is well written. The story is certainly fascinating. Although each seems to focus on a different fairytale heroine, it is interwoven into a larger story. The action is very visual and delivers tension, the characters are real and varied. And it's sexy. A well rounded book. I can't wait to read the rest.
It's an interesting take on the Snow White fairytale, but I wasn't a fan of Neva changing her mind so quickly. She's obviously got a lot of trauma to deal with and the story just didn't explore how she worked through it. She just went from having a trauma response to a situation, to acknowledging the situation was a trigger for her, to throwing herself in the same situation again without a care in the world. That's not how trauma works.

I was hooked from the very first sentence and couldn't put the book down until it was done!! The world and characters the author has created are original and incredible. It was dark, it was hot and it was awesome!! This is definitely the author's forte, even though it's a bit different that what she usually writes. I'm hooked and sucked into her new world and I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series!!!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I’m a sucker for fairytale retellings, and this book is no exception. It strings together connection to other fairytale worlds and characters. Which is fun and will hopefully continue. The characters are well-developed, revised versions of the originals. I appreciated that it wasn't overly smutty, it has just the right amount of spice to make it naughty but didn't take away from the story. I will definitely continue reading to see where this goes!
