HER. I always knew my old life could crash into my new one. I prepared myself for it mentally every night before going to sleep. Still, it didn't make it any easier when the time came. Because that’s just the thing. An unresolved past never really goes away. It always comes back to bite you in the ass when you at least expect it. Whether it’s to teach a lesson, remind you of forgotten demons, or just to be a bitch. And now lives were on the line, and it was all my damn fault.
HIM. My life has been rather simple. Work, eat and sleep. Rinse and repeat. That was until a certain Russian beauty barged her way into my life, making me question everything I’ve ever known. I was an FBI agent sent to convince her to help us. She was a Russian assassin in hiding. Secrets got uncovered. Hearts got broken. Mistakes were made. But the real question was, could I risk one life to save many others?
B. P. Beth is a European law student with a serious passion for romantic suspense novels. If you like your reads to be romantic, yet filled with action at the same time her books are the ones for you. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
Another suspenseful and romantic story of the operatives at Zeta Security. Liam was the diplomat of the group, the reasonable one, sent out to check if Katarina, the best assassin of all time who people thought was dead, was alive. She was the ideal person to bring down the Moldovan mafia boss.
The first few chapters didn’t manage to pull me in deeply. I had to reach 60% of the story for hell to break loose and then I couldn’t stop reading. It was full of angst, suspense and very adventurous.
Katarina was by far a more intriguing character than Liam. She was badass, feisty, with a powerful personality. The story was well written, dual pov and can be read as standalone. A few plot holes could have been avoided. Overall, I enjoyed it.
This author is coming into her own with her writing style. I was blown away by the character development and suspenseful and intriguing storyline. After the trauma of almost being killed by a mob boss, Katarina decides to settle down in a small town with a slower pace of life to raise her daughter. That is until Liam comes barging in her life to ask for help. See, Liam is a Zeta Operative and when he finds Kat waitressing she doesn’t look like an assassin. They start a slow dance to test the waters to see if the chemistry is really there until the unthinkable happens one night. Kat’s daughter is kidnapped and Liam missing also. Will she get her daughter back unscathed? What is up with Liam‘s disappearing act? Will they be able to work through the misconceptions? I can’t wait for the next installment of this fabulous series!!
Fast paced action with military special operations action. Back from the dead to track down and rescue.
Katrina has a Livingstone for her abilities. Life n death changes you. Liam a Zeta security has a mission find her n bring her back. A assassins being brought in is not a one person job. The dynamics the mission and lots of innocence at risks. If you like Susan stokes Brotherhood you will love this series also. This a bad@$$ woman is always nice! This is the second book of Zeta Security by B. P. Beth and I loved it! Katarina is such a badass! And Liam is confused but not for long, he soon realised that he wants Katarina and her adorable daughter Viola..both Liam and Katarina have had traumatic pasts to overcome..I really don't like spoilers in my reviews, but I will say this book has an awesome epilogue! B. P. Beth is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors, I can't wait for the next book Axel.
Liam met Katrina when she was working as a waitress. She didn't seem like an assian, but then I wasn't sure what one looked like. She was trying to protect her daughter from her father. Liam was her daughter 's choice. And when Viola gets taken, Liam is who she runs to.
Well written story with good characters. Katrina is an assassin that more you learn about her, the more you like her. Her daughter is adorable & lovable. Liam becomes a good part of their family after he & his team help Kat take care of a Russian Mob Boss that was threatening Kat & Viola. This is the 2nd story I have read by this author that I have enjoyed & highly recommend.
Liam’s story was packed with action and suspense. It had me hooked from start to finish. Kat is totally badass, and gives all the Zeta men a run for their money.
Soooo good. I absolutely love this series. Kat survived almost being killed by the mafia mob leader. She is now living in a small town and fits in perfectly. Liam is with the Zeta security. He is the quiet one. He is sent to the small town to find her. Liam finally finds out her secret by total accident. He promises to keep her secret. That is until he has no choice. When Kst finds out her daughter is gone. She goes after Zeta. She believes it's all their fault. Will they be able to find her daughter in time? Will she forgive Liam?
What an enjoyable story! This second book in the Zeta Security series keeps you on your toes at times and I love when a book does that. Liam is such a honey of a character too and basically the opposite of Scott, the male lead in book one. Liam is similar in the way he is protective and caring, though like Scott, willing to deny himself. That frustrated me a bit but then again it annoyed the female lead character, Katarina, too—totally understandable. She is such a powerhouse of energy and strength, I absolutely adored her character.
The suspense element, once again, keeps you entertained and wondering how things will pan out or if everyone will survive. The epilogue adds a touch of humor which is terrific. I look forward to reading Axel next, now he’s an intriguing character for sure.
I have to say that B.P. Beth has created the ultimate bada** heroine in Katarina, the perfect assassin. I say that because not only can she handle herself against insurmountable odds, but she only kills those who actually deserve to die. Liam is the diplomat of Zeta Security, and when a tip comes in that Katarina is still alive, he's sent to see what he could find out. It all goes sideways quickly because he didn't heed the warnings about her, and man did I laugh when he got his behind handed to him. However, she's a very good woman so she didn't hold it against him, but once he figured out the secret she had as to why she didn't want to take jobs again, they started spending time together. It finally leads to them hooking up one night, but he was a coward & slipped out the next morning without being a man. It all leads to all kinds of hell breaking loose, and Katarina comes out of hiding with guns blazing. Liam STILL can't man up & really steps in it after she reveals all the whys to the hiding, so she goes off on her own. This story was crazy exciting in my eyes, and I seriously NEED more of Katarina in my life (after you read this story you'll know what I'm talking about)! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
Kay is kick ass!! Loved Liam. He is so chill and zen but Kay and her daughter make his protective instincts flare to life. They are so adorable. And I love watching Liam and viola together. Swoon worthy. The whole issue about him leaving was more about his issues from growing up and not thinking he was good enough to be with her and a father to viola. But it didn’t take away from how much it was obvious he loved them. Because when sh*t hit the fan he went all papa bear mode to get his girls back. So hot!! God she kicked some serious ass. And thank god that loser from brooks got his due karma (minor spoiler). Loved how all the guys are protective of Kat just like they were of maya and defend her against Liam. So much so that Luke broke liams nose. But to his defense he didn’t know. He was just so blinded by love and hurt to put it all together. She suffered so much throughout her life to save those innocent who couldn’t defend themselves. Loved the story.

This is the 2nd book in this series and is Liam and Katrina’s story. Liam is the quiet operative at Zeta, and he is sent on a mission to track down assassin Katrina and bring her back. When Liam finds Kat working as a waitress in a small town which she fits into perfectly, he promises to keep her secret, and when her daughter is kidnapped, she blames Liam, and comes for Zeta with a vengeance. Will they be able to rescue her daughter in time? This is a well written story which is fast paced, action packed, and with secrets, and love, which all lead to a riveting and all-consuming page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
This is book 2 in the Zeta security series of interconnected stand-alones.
I was concerned with the beginning of this book with how much detail certain events were going to go into as there are certain themes I do not enjoy reading, I was a little hesitant but having finished I can say it was not as in depth as I feared.
The story is based on a once bad ass russian assassin and the zeta security needing her help. The story twists and turns and has a good storyline that keeps you wanting to read more.
I have quickly fallen for the guys of Zeta Security. Next up is Liam and Kat but he's gonna get a work out for sure. Kat is a hired assassian Liam definitely under estimates her. They fall slowly but don't pursue it til one Night and the unimaginable happens when Kat's daughter is taken but Liam also left her in the middle of the night. I was shocked when she went to Zeta for help. So much happens so quickly but I gotta say I loved how it ended. And can't wait to read book 3.
I really enjoyed this one, the plot and characters was right up my alley. Yes some things were overlooked, but I was right when I said after Scott that this author had promise, already saw heaps of improvement in this book. From the way some of this was worded I think English is her second language, so that in itself is impressive, and also something to work on when she edits her next book. Definitely recommend this series so far.
Wow, this book had me hooked from first page. It was one of those intriguing books.
I loved Liam and Katarina together, they go through a lot in short space of time. But they come together in the end. I loved how they interacted with each other.
This is the second book in the Zeta Security series and it was just as good as the first. Lots of action and Katarina is such a harass. She takes control in the bedroom and Liam is man enough to handle it. Great read!!
I love this series and this book. If possible it's better than the first in the series. Whoever proofread the book , however, needs a slap on the hand. Lots of mistakes in wording.
