Some of the worst crosswords I've ever done in my life. Lots of horrendous themes, and not a single puzzle has felt rewarding to solve. The puzzles themselves are rife with naticks and crosswordese to the point where some of them no longer fall into the medium category. Also some of the rebuses are ones I'd only ever see for hard puzzles, so calling this "strictly" medium feels very misleading. I also would've appreciated having the titles for the crosswords, but I understand that might give away a lot so whatever, I can excuse that. I just can't excuse how dull most of these puzzles are. Some of the themes are truly terrible and I have yet to solve a single puzzle in here that made me go "Ohh, that's clever!!" or "That was a good one!" A few of the clues/words in certain puzzles have left me with that reaction but the rest of the puzzle was too horrific for me to ever be able to recommend this book. You will be genuinely frustrated and upset after solving these puzzles. I even solved these with other people and they too agreed these puzzles were ass. They were even so bad I got onto GOODREADS of all places to warn the public against this book. If you created any of the puzzles in this book, just know I hate you a lot and you SUCK at making crosswords!!!!!!!!!
