OH. MY. GAWD! I wish I could give this series ALL. OF. THE. STARS! If You Dare is intense, gripping, sexy and absolutely AMAZING! I simply can not get enough of these sharks, their drama and the games that they play. I didn't think it was possible, but this story was even better than the last. It was angsty and suspenseful with twists and turns around every corner. It will definitely sink its claws into you, hooking you from the very first page.
If You Dare is a fantastic read that more than checked off all the marks for me. It was brilliantly crafted with a perfectly executed plot and well developed characters. This dangerously dark and delicious tale will have your heart racing while keeping you on the edge of your seat. You will be left shocked and surprised as secrets are revealed and lies are uncovered. Readers, you need this book (and series) in your life! Please do yourself a favor, and one-click when this baby goes live. It is an exciting ride that I can promise you won't want to miss.

Wait, what just happened? That ending, WOW.
I've been obsessed with the GWS since reading book one and If You Dare blows the other two away. I am so happy she has once again shared more of the GWS with us all. Shantel once again drew me in from the prologue. I could not put the book down. Living life in Texas now, Deke, Austin, and Cole are trying to move on. Unfortunately for them, they only thought they were done.
So many secrets in this book. So much suspense. Just when you think you have a clue what the real story is, Shantel smacks you in the face with a new, even more mind blowing twist. As each layer is pulled back, more and more questions arise. Who can be trusted? Who has betrayed them all?
I ran through the gamut of emotions while reading this book. I was confused, angry, happy, sad, frustrated, and absolutely blown away throughout this entire book. While the focus on this book is Deke's story, all of the other sharks are intricately interlaced into the plot. Deke made me want to yell, punch him, hug him, kiss him. Honestly, he is my favorite character.
Once again - if you can't handle bullying, violence of any kind this is not a series for you. But for those of you willing to take the risk you will not be disappointed.

I have absolutely loved reading every book in this series, and If You Dare was no exception!
The savagery, insanity, bloodshed, passion, and twisted agendas mixed with family, loyalty, and love made for one hell of a story! The characters in these books are ones I know I'll never forget, and I promise you won't either!
This is the first installment to primarily focus on Deke and his love interest, and I was so ready for it! At the same time, I hoped I would still get to spend a substantial amount of time with Austin and Cole, too. In case you're like me and were hoping for something similar, allow me to put you out of your misery right now and let you know we got our wish! Austin, Cole, and the rest of the GWS are still very much a part of this story! Everyone we've gotten to know over the course of the last couple of books are present and accounted for save the deceased or incarcerated.
I thoroughly enjoyed delving more into Deke's mind and experiencing his world through the eyes of his love interest. Deke is just as ruthless as Cole, and his heroine gives him a run for his money on that front, too. She's perfect for him in the same way that Austin is for Cole. His darkness feeds hers, and she's willing to push herself to her limits to get what she wants. Like Deke, she may be a little crazy, but she isn't vindictive and cruel for no reason. There is a method to her madness, and paying back the assholes responsible for her pain is her priority.
If You Dare is everything I was hoping it would be! It's filled with suspense, darkness, steam, secrets, betrayal, and twists around every turn! New light is shed on the events of the previous novels, and a few lucky souls finally get what's coming to them.
Do I think this was a good conclusion to the series? If it's really the end, yes! I'll be totally satisfied with what the author gave us in this book. However, I hope it's not! There is more to this story/these characters that can be explored, and I would love it if we eventually got a book 4 and maybe even a 5 or 6. Like I said though, that's wishful thinking. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this ending. The author left open the possibility of more to come, and I'm just casting my vote!
If you've read books 1 and 2 of this series, picking up this one is a no brainer! You have to read it! You know you won't regret it, so what are you waiting for?!
If you're a dark or bully romance fan that hasn't given this series a try yet, go for it! It's everything you could want! All of the books are full of twists, cruelty, violence, blood, and murder! Basically, this series is dark, fucked up, and a damn good time! You don't want to miss it!

Seriously, Shantel? WHAT THE FUCK?
FOR REAL THOUGH,! THE FUCK? WHAT YOU TRYING TO DO? Break me? Destroy me beyond belief. Because if so, you are succeeding... FUCK.

What in the ever-loving fuck just happened?
My head, my fucking heart, my sanity.
I did not see this shit coming. I was not prepared.
I am at a loss for words if I am honest. I have been trying and failing at trying to give this review my best... But words keep failing me. Apart from the word FUCK.
FUCK.
Okay... Well, I didn't see what happened in this book coming, and if you have read book one and two you will know exactly what I mean. So, it is HIGHLY recommended that you read books 1 and 2 before this.
I have been hanging out for this book and damn it was worth the wait, but my mind was blown.
Deke.. Where can I start with this guy?? He's ruthless, he's chaos, he's power, he isn't and has never been afraid of death, and the darker side of life. He's cruel, he's pure evil and he's the type of guy that will have your body shaking as you read deeper and deeper into his story, but behind all that is a guy who is fiercely protective of the people he loves. So much so that it can be damaging. He's the type of guy that you want in your corner. What he says he will live up to. He's not afraid of standing up for himself or the people he loves, and will go to great lengths to do so and FUCK I love that!!
Deke's story is about to gut punch you so hard that you’re left in a curled up ball, begging for mercy. The author did not shy away from much with this. She put her all into it, and then some. She wasn't playing when she wrote this. She knew it was going to wreak havoc on her readers and i think it may just do so!
Honestly, I wish I could dive into details, but you need to read this. like, NEED TO. Be prepared for the unexpected, be prepared to be punched in the gut and face and be prepared to not being able to sleep at night. This book is going to throw you through so many twists and turns that you don't see coming that will leave your mind reeling for days. Well that is sure as hell what it has done to me.
Shantel Tessier has now become an auto one-click author to me, and this series so far is phenomenal. I cannot fault it. I love everything about this dark, twisted and crazy plot and I can't wait to see what's to come!

GAH!!! This was another great installment in the GWS series as I can not get enough of these boys and their drama and secrets! I've been waiting for this book since the second book and boy did it deliver! This story was thrilling as it was sexy and filled to the brim with fast-paced adrenaline pumping scenes. This was amazing!
This story is filled with the absolute intense craziness that we've come to expect from this author in this series. I loved the shocks and surprises and was seriously hooked from the beginning! Wow! What a series! I also could not get enough of seeing more of Cole and Austin! Loved this so much! 4 stars! ~Ratula

Shantel did the damn thing! Deke’s story was one that I was not expecting. The betrayal and the secrets once again plague the GWS and their world. Reading this book, no one can be trusted and no one is who you think they are. Some friendships are completely destroyed while other loyalties are put to the test and the truth shows which bonds can’t be broken. Within the twists and turns of the deceit and the truth coming forth, Shantel sucks us back into the world of the GWS and it’s one hell of a ride. I was blindsided by how deceiving some of the characters were and just how low they were willing to go. There’s so much that happened, I don’t have the words that could ever measure up to how amazing this story was.
Five daring stars for the GWS and the stories they all need to tell. This is hands down one of my favorite series.
Shantel, I dare you to write another damn book. I need more of their world and always will.

I very nearly didn’t survive If you Dare because Shantel Tessier just made Deke fuck shit up! If like me, you love psychopathic alpha hero’s then this is the series for you!
A beautiful mess and a demon.
This quote perfect describes Deke and his love interest (who is a secret) can you guess who?

”That’s your first mistake.”

The back and forth, the cat and mouse games is what I love! I love when the heroine is just as strong as the hero.
You get to see all of the GWS in this book so if you loved Cole, make sure you check this book out as he and Austin are in it a lot and you get to see Austin as a shark too which was epic!

Deke just doesn't care about some things, "he leans down, whispering in my ear, “It’s cute that you think I give a eff what you need.” Deke knows how to catch a girl off guard, "I lean down, and whisper, “That’ll all change once I eff that mouth with my ***k.” She begins to choke on the chocolate at my words and pieces are flying out onto the counter." Deke is quite the possessive man, “because he touched you. And I am the only man allowed to touch you.” I liked this book, and I dare say it Deke has stolen my heart fron Cole.

If You Dare by Shantel Tessier is finally here! If You Dare is the third book in the Dare Series. You don't HAVE to read books 1 & 2 as the author has written this so it COULD be a standalone, BUT in my opinion, you most definitely SHOULD! Gahhh I have been highly anticipating this one and let me just say OMFGGGGG!!! I NEVER saw this one coming! Just when I thought I was figuring out what was happening next *BOOM* another secret was unraveled and I was back to square one! Shantel did an astounding job as far as the shock factor with this one because let me tell you, I was completely SHOCKED!
This review is gonna be short and sweet and a little vague lol, this is one of those books you HAVE to go into blind! But I will give you a little bit of a warning. If you have read I Dare You & I Promise You you will go into this one thinking you know what's going to happen just like I did, and YOU WILL BE WRONG, just like I was! Every single theory I had come up with was blown all to hell! The plot is dark, twisted, and absolutely devious and you going to love every minute of it!

I never could have anticipated just how dark, devious, and completely SAVAGE Deke actually is! Ya'll are in for a treat with the delicious Deke Biggs!
Speaking of Cole Reynolds Cole is still as dark and delicious as ever and still loves his sweetheart Austin with everything in him! I worried we weren't going to see much of these two in Deke's story but I was so wrong, they are a HUGE part of his story and I loved seeing what they were up to these days now that they are in Texas! Austin, GAHH MY GIRL! I love her, and I LOVE that even though she has become somewhat of a mother to little Lily she is still 100% BAD BITCH! She has proven time and time again that she is every bit of a shark as the guys, and she continues to do so in If You Dare!

My favorite books are when the heroine is just as strong as the hero, or anti-hero in this case, and trust me when I tell you Austin isn't the only bad bitch in this book! This girl is every bit as twisted as Deke! She gives him the type of challenge he needs to keep his interest, and she's not afraid of his darkness she doesn't want to change him, she wants him to be the savage that he is. The two of them together are like dumping gasoline on a fire! 🔥
I fell in love with Shantel Tessier's writing when I first read I Dare You but since reading, I Promise You and now If You Dare I am completely HOOKED! Shantel is still up and coming but she's most definitely an author you need to watch out for, and one that I will most definitely ALWAYS one-click! I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next since this one left off with a “The End...For Now” I am really, REALLY hoping there is more to come from the GWS's, maybe Shane or Bennett..? P.S. I STILL hate Becky Holt with a passion!

Whoa...is the best way to describe this book/series. I had so many questions at the end of book two and I was for sure that a certain person wasn’t really gone.
When I started book three I had this idea in my head where the story was going. Mind. Blown. And I loved every second of it.
Dark Romantic Suspense that is twisted AF is the best kind of read.
I heart this book so so so much. I’d give it more than five stars if I could.

This series keeps getting better and better.
First, this is not a stand-alone. You must read the first two books.

This is Deke’s book but you get morsels of your other favorite sharks.
Be prepared for all the feels..all of the feels..no joke.

I enjoy a bully romance, or enemies to lovers’ romance. I like slightly dark or twisted books too, and I’m always looking for a book to make me feel things that might be overwhelming or uncomfortable.
I was sucked in from the beginning. The prologue certainly sets the tone for the entire book. I thought Cole and Austin were PERFECT. I loved their chemistry, their tension-filled banter and all of the extended characters in this book. I Dare You keeps you on the edge THE ENTIRE TIME! It will shock you. It will break you. It will mess you up. Then it will put you all back together again nicely with a single black bow.
The angst, the drama, the love/hate, the violence it will keep you intrigued. I went into this book half blind, with only the cover as a guide. The story within did not disappoint.
The characters and the story they each share is consuming... This one is mind boggling, dark, and a complete thrill ride. I recommend it.

Oh Holy Fuck!! That's what I have to say. Shantel Tessier went above and beyond with Deke's book! And he may now just be my favorite shark! From start to finish If You Dare has you sucked in. And it more than lives up to the anticipation surrounding it.
Deke Biggs doesn't give a F*** about anything, he's cold and doesn't apologize for being that way. He does what he wants and he doesn't hold back. You mess with him he fucks you over a million times worse. The love he had for Becky is gone and now he's left with a black, cold heart looking for revenge.
Deke's love triangle, or love story is absolutely amazing. I loved reading every second of Deke, Becky, and his girl's story. (I am not telling you who his girl is/ spoiler). I've never seen 3 more screwed up people.
Deke's girl is just messed up in the head as he is and hates Becky. So maybe this little love story started for the wrong reasons and even continued for awhile for the wrong reason, but even f'ed up love is still love.
And then there's Becky, I hated her before and I still hate her now! She's a bitch and will always be one, but man did I love reading when she got what she deserved.
This book goes from zero to one hundred on the first page and doesn't stop. There are moments when I was like WTH is happening but couldn't stop reading, and all those moments end up making sense. The twist and turns and the evil shit that happens in this book just speaks right to my black soul. 5 stars is just not enough for If You Dare and Deke!

Shantel Tessier is an evil genius! This book sucked me in and spit me out. Just when you think it couldn't get any grittier, messier, more ruthless... the Sharks prove you wrong! No one comes between these men and who they care for. NO. ONE.
I was blown away by this book. It was so twisted and so merciless. Every time you think you have it figured out, the author tosses in another scheme and throws you off the scent. I was guessing what would happen and who would go down, right up until the very end! That's what I loved most about the writing in this story. It was unpredictable and suspenseful and twisted. So darn twisted!
I fell more in love with the Great White Sharks in this novel, especially Deke. One minute he was cold and heartless, the next his feelings were spilling out all sappy like. It just proved that no matter what these men have been through, they still have a heart somewhere deep down in that cavern they keep under lock and key. Same went for Cole. We all know what a cold-blooded individual he is but if you come between him and Austin, you'll pay the ultimate price.

'I've never been close to my sister, but I've hated her the last couple of years. Ever since she tried to take something from me, I vowed I was going to make her pay. No matter what I had to do, I was going to break her f*cking cold, dead heart.'
I don't even know where to start with this book. I loved book one and two, and at the end of epilogue two in book two, I was left freaking out! I had so many questions, wondering where this was going to go, who to trust, if Kellen was alive, and felt that Becky was a conniving little ho lol. Let me start by saying—you will never guess which way this book is going to go.
If You Dare was a thrilling and suspenseful book that kept me on my toes with every turn of the page. Just when I thought I had something figured out, it drastically went a different way. Characters you thought were good go bad, and those you questioned redeem themselves. I love the back and forth and the heat and anger between the hero and heroine. I love that each could take as hard as they gave. I love the unpredictability and the constant twists and turns. And most of all, I love how perfect they were for each other. This book had the perfect concoction of heat, angst, mystery, and WTF moments to keep your heart racing and mind turning. It was phenomenal! My favorite scene was by far the room at 'Silence' — the haunted house. Never saw that coming!

Oh. My. God. This book is DARK. This book is leave your morals at the cover page. This book is freaking EVERYTHING! I just finished it & I almost feel like I need to read it again just to try & comprehend everything I just read. There was SO much everything in this book! Sex, murder, secrets, plot twists, amazing new characters, crazy a** old characters, & so much more. I expected this book to be dark but this was beyond what I expected. This story grabs you by the throat & doesn’t let go till the last page. Even then you can still feel the mark it’s left behind.
Deke’s story surprised me, I never would have guessed that this is how his story turned out. Granted is his story ever really over? Each book reveals so many more secrets & twists and everything is so intricately entwined. There are still questions left unanswered that have me yearning desperately for the next book.
How Shantel keeps everything flowing & twisting is amazing. It shows her amazing talent as a writer. I honestly think this series is in my top three of favourite dark romances! I can’t wait for the next book!

I hated it from the very beginning
Personally, I didn't like where the story was going from the beginning, of this book. I didn't like Demi at all and felt loyal to Becky, even though she made mistakes. I've never skimmed to the end of a book, EVER, but I wasn't enjoying the journey. So, when I looked at the last chapter and saw how it ended, I was done. I enjoyed the first 2 books, but if there are anymore after this I won't be reading them. The writer is great story-teller, but it's hard to enjoy a story when you don't like some of the main characters.

This book now focuses on Deke, Becky & Demi. Not a standalone, you must read book 1&2 and the events take place right where book 2 left off... Deke and Becky are now broken up and both have discovered each other's secrets.
I didn't care for the romance aspect but the author does a good job with story telling and adding a lot of drama and suspense that you don't see coming. I also wanted to see more of Austin and Cole's relationship and it turns out, I still hate Cole.
CHARACTERS: alternating POV between: Deke, Becky & Demi (Becky's sister).
Not really a love triangle because it's made very obvious who Deke ends up with.
REASONS FOR LOW RATING:
1. Hated the "heroines": Becky and Demi
I liked Zeke and despite his messed up actions, I still thought he could have done better than Becky or Demi. Becky's true colors are shown and she's a serial cheater and liar.
DEMI - I thought she was annoying. Becky did horrible things to her so I understand why she wants to take revenge on her own sister. However, her trying to push her way in to involve herself with Deke and Becky's relationship drama felt so juvenile. At one point, Demi in order to get back at her sister. Like why degrade yourself like that just for a piece of pay back? I didn't find Demi smart or calculated. She was kind of just there for added drama and seemed like a nuisance.
2. Relationship between Deke and Demi was BLAH.
I just could not get behind Deke messing with both sisters, 1 who lied to him and the other used him. Deke had never once noticed Demi because of how obsessed he was with her sister, Becky. Now all of a sudden Deke claims he's in love with her?? Especially after all that mind crap she put him through? PASS.
3. Overload of flashbacks
Too many flashback moments were recounted and it felt like I was reading the first 2 books all over again.
4. The complete shift of Becky's character: sweet next door girl to sociopath
Becky was made out to be a very loyal and supportive friend in book #1. I loved her but the author decided to sabotage the character and make her out to be a villain in book #3. It was unclear the reasoning for Becky's motives to hurt her sister. I think her character got blown out of proportion. I wish the author slowly built her presence in the earlier books to be someone calculated, suspicious with "malicious" intent or at least give some glimpses to how she's an actual sociopath.
5. The absurdity that these teenagers solve problems with murder or violence.
These characters are just freshmen in college but are also serial killers that are somehow able to get away with their crimes. Too unrealistic. This book was more focused on how evil and sadistic these characters are and held little romance aspect.
6. Unanswered questions.

I'm going to try to keep this short and sweet. I was actually reading this as Shantel was writing it. It was torture lol. I did know where she was going with it and it made me crazy Haha. I absolutely love this book. Cole he's my absolute fave but damn if Deke didn't deliver.
You may think you know where the book is going but you will be wrong. Clear your schedule because you won't be able to put this one down.

What the what!!! I don’t even know what I just read, but it was AMAZING! This series is intense!! This is book 3 and you don’t necessarily have to have read the first two books, but I would recommend reading them because, why not!! They are all dark and thrilling! I have one heck of a book hangover after this one!

I received an ARC from the author.
After the hit of the first two, I knew I’d be in for a wild ride! Deke is life!
The author took me by surprise with this book from the very beginning. After the first two, this one is set up to be about a certain character paired with Deke. In fact, the book starts with him working to get her back. So I was totally surprised when a new player came into the game...and then quickly became player number 1. In fact, ex-player number 1 became villain number 1, and has been for so much of this plot, going back to book 1. This is written in an odd way to avoid as much spoilers as possible.
But I loved it! Because the beginning sets Demi up to be one type of character, but that quickly changes and I just felt for her. The poor girl. More so, I loved how this book played out and appreciate the author for it. In book 1 when it’s designed that there are couples all around, and happily-ever-afters must be in the air. But it doesn’t follow that pretty cut-and-paste path. She builds these characters right from the beginning to have a bigger play. So when we’re assuming this book will be a HEA with them, she surprises readers, throws a twist in the pre-HEAs, and gives it a 180. I love when authors still give me the ending I need, but made it happen through an unexpected and even unconventional way.
I guess this could be considered a love triangle at its loosest, but Deke’s love triangle is unlike any I have read. It’s dark, twisty, and plain ol’ fun.
This book reveals so many answers and background stories that help enforce what occurred through the first book. Again, a sign of good writing. For this large, complex story, it may be told in the POVs of different players, but it’s all focused around the same story that started in book 1. So by the time this one rolled around, the events of book 1 were not simply that; events of the past. They shaped this story, made this story happen, and provided so much background, it’s insane. In fact, I think this one helped make the first book even better by strengthening it.
Overall, I loved this book! I’m taking the “The End For Now” to heart and will just be waiting impatiently until more occurs. I have a suspicion which two characters the next one will be about. It was a fantastic read!

The third installment in the Dare Series, If You Dare packs a twisted punch. It is a roller coaster ride of ups, downs, twists, and turns that keep you on your toes and leave you guessing until the crazy end. This book is dark, gritty and multi-layered. An Excellent addition to one of my favorite Series! 5 Stars!

This series right here is one of the best series I’ve read this year! Extremely gripping, phenomenally written, and crazy intense! I literally didn’t eat, didn’t sleep, and locked myself away in my room until I finished the last word of this book!

Shantel truly blew me away with that mind of hers, and the way she’s able to weave such a captivating, thrilling, and mysterious plot with the craziness twists and turns! All of my expectations were thrown out in the water because she exceed them AND more! I want to take a dive in with these boys!!

Need I say more? Pick up this book, HELLL pick up this series! (If you haven’t started yet) You certainly won’t regret it! Trust me!!

This was yet another great instalment by Shantel Tessier. This author has a way with her words and her characters.
I’ve been hanging for this book since book two was released and we found out that Deke was going to be getting a book. After reading this book Deke has become one of my favourite Hero’s by Shantel.
This is book three in the Dare Series, I do recommend you reading books one and two first before reading this book but this book has been written in a way that it’s a stand-alone.
Deke, Cole and Austin are now living in Texas and are trying to move on. Boy were they wrong, we were just getting geared up for another set of games to begin. A new player has arrived and they are here to win.
This story was absolutely crazy, and intense. From the moment I started I was hooked. It consumed me. The only time I would stop reading was when I really needed to. Even debated calling in sick to work to read. I had become obsessed.
Be prepared for so many secrets in this book to come at you and shatter you to the point your asking yourself who can these people trust. Betrayal at its finest. Deke’s love interest, I absolutely loved. She’s completely bad ass and she is so damn strong. She is exactly the person deke needs. She is his equal. Two darks souls United.
With everything that happened in this book, nothing was rushed over. I just can’t believe this book is finished. I wanted more. I need more. I miss these characters already and I only just finished reading a couple of hours ago.
This author definitely nailed this book! If you like twisted love stories that are full of twists that are out of this world then this book is for you.
I’ve been hanging for this book since book two was released and we found out that Deke was going to be getting a book. After reading this book Deke has become one of my favourite Hero’s by Shantel.
This is book three in the Dare Series, I do recommend you reading books one and two first before reading this book but this book has been written in a way that it’s a stand-alone.
Deke, Cole and Austin are now living in Texas and are trying to move on. Boy were they wrong, we were just getting geared up for another set of games to begin. A new player has arrived and they are here to win.
This story was absolutely crazy, and intense. From the moment I started I was hooked. It consumed me. The only time I would stop reading was when I really needed to. Even debated calling in sick to work to read. I had become obsessed.
Be prepared for so many secrets in this book to come at you and shatter you to the point your asking yourself who can these people trust. Betrayal at its finest. In advance I'm already warning that this series is Dark. Soooo if you don't have the stomach to read, and understanding that it's just fiction, better pass away.
That said, I have to say I loved this book! Since the end of I Promise You, I have been curious about Deke's book, especially knowing it would be with Becky, and that I have come to hate her deeply after the events of previous books.
No matter how much of an evil bastard Deke is, she doesn't deserve to be on his good side!
I was so happy to see him in action!
And Austin? OMG she's so badass and strong and amazing... She's the perfect shark! I love her so much!!
I really loved the story and how it was told. Why 4 stars then?
Because some things that was a cliffhanger before, were not even mentioned, the chronology of some revelations in the end wasn't compatible with what was said in previous books (I won't do spoilers) and I really can't stand to read so much "BITE MY BOTTOM LIP"!
I think in every chapter someone bite their lower lip at least one time, and honestly I find it sooooo unnecessary in books...
Anyway... It was worth it and I will definitely continue reading the series!
I loved the ending, although I wanted that bad bitch to suffer a bit more!

Oh. My. Flipping. Goodness.
This book. This one might actually beat out the first the series. Yeah, I went there. Deke is dark, deadly, insanely loyal and totally twisted. I loved every single deliciously dark and heart pounding second of this story.
I wish that I could spill a thousand spoiler secrets right now because all I want is to shout my thoughts and opinions about how awesome this story is to absolutely anyone around. I can’t even discuss who the leading lady is, BUT I can tell you that everything is written with a careful precision. That everything happens exactly as it should, that you shouldn’t bother questioning the authors choices because she gives you the most perfect twists and turns and delivers an epically amazing ending.
This story, this book... it’s fantastic. It will make you sweaty from anticipation, nervousness, the steam-factor and of course the ANGST! I don’t know where Shantel pulls these crazy ideas from, but I bow down. I was blown away by where she took the sharks this time around. I can not even wait for the next book, to get more insight into their messed up chaotic world.

This book is told mainly from Deke’s POV and wow he’s dark, I’m still undecided who is the darker of the two out of him and Cole?
Anyway Deke is still really angry at Becky with what he found out from I Promise You. Actually he’s really, really angry with her. Not that I can blame him.
This book is just as dark and twisted as the others. I loved that it’s mainly all Deke and what their lives are like now that they’ve moved away from Collins and to Texas. The new player is possibly one of my favourite characters. I won’t say too much as I don’t want to spoil it.
One thing I feel the need to say is the word slut is thrown around so casually in this book, if a girl isn’t a virgin she’s a slut, if she’s having sex with one person she’s also a slut, if she wears a lot of make up & tight clothes she’s again a slut. Even Becky comments on the double standards these boys have and it’s the one thing in the whole book that really grated on me. The GWS are so far from innocent yet feel the need to label girls as sluts. But other than that I loved it! As with the other two books this series just keeps getting better and better and I can’t wait to find out what’s next.
