I got this ebook for free. Since I'm always interested in learning about the gifts of the Spirit, I decided to give it a quick read.

This powerful book, Activating the Gift of Prophecy- is what the title says and more! Half way through the book I started receiving dreams from God. For me, I have always sensed, since I was a little girl that I had a gift from God, however I wasn't absolutely sure. Rebecca and Jermaine give you principles and exercises to activate those gifts. This book stirred up my heart and spirit! This book is well written and easy to read. What is more beautiful than knowing what is in the heart of God for people and for yourself.

This is a fab book on the prophetic- covering everything from the importance of hearing the heart of God and effectively communicating what the Holy Spirit is saying to the people in your circle. It highlights the necessity of being in correct standing with God in your own walk with Him and having a pure heart, and hearing the heart of the Father.
I loved the practical applications at the end of each chapter. Laden with practical advice and Scriptural nuggets, it is definitely worth reading and shaping your pattern of life on. buy it, read it, re read it and become who God is calling you to be. Enjoy :-)

Extremely practical approach to a very controversial topic. I appreciated the humble attitude of the writers who have spent many years developing their gift. I especially liked the distinction made between the prophetic word and its application in the life of the one to whom it is addressed. I also like how they stressed that the most important part is a close relationship with Jesus and expressing His heart to others. The practical steps at the end are invaluable. A worthy read for anyone with an interest in this topic.

I enjoyed this text. Rebecca and Jermaine share some powerful testimonies. Cleared up some questions I had as it related to prophets and prophetic works. I read through but did not do the exercises but it is on my To Do list. Recommended read.

A decent entry into the prophetic. Helpful in understanding how God gives prophetic words and that the prophetic is like a muscle that must be exercised.
