For two years, she juggled waitressing in tourist filled coffee shops while undertaking two degrees in Creative Writing online— one specializing in children's fiction and publishing. Starfall is the second book in the ‘Starlight Chronicles’ by P S Malcolm. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, and this novella was an absolute delight to get stuck into.
The book is about Julian a.k.a Jason, a boy who is attempting to track down a Starlight Princess before she has the ability to wreak havoc. He holds secrets, a secret of love, and lies, and he is desperate to complete his mission of redemption. But with the added complexity of a Shadeow vow and needing to train new Chards, Jason is very much kept on his toes.
There is so much I could say about this book, but I really do not want to spoil the enjoyment for new readers. It is told in differing perspectives, and each character is intriguing with their own air of mystery and intrigue. The plot is well thought out, and I read this novella all in one sitting. I adore Devian, the bad boy of the town Lorelei, and I am excited to see where this series is taken.
It was an absolute joy to read something unique, refreshing and something which was instantly addictive. This book has mystery, drama and a sweet side of romance, and is perfect for all book lovers. The cover is absolutely stunning and instantly attracted me.
