Every once in a while, I find an author whose books are so bad, I can't believe I'm reading them. YET I still some how manage to have enough interest in the characters to read all of the books in a series... Kimi L. Davis is one of those authors, and so is her CEO trilogy. Her writing is atrocious, her grammar skills at middle school level, she couldn't follow a timeline if she was paid and the behavior of her characters is entirely unbelievable. Now that I've gotten over my bout of insanity and read all three of these "books" I'll happily not bother to read one more thing by her ever again.
This is by far the dumbest book I have ever read- or listened to. I wish that was an exaggeration- it’s not. The MFC is stupid- who in their right mind allows someone to treat you that way and is just like “yeah okay I hate them but I will let them do whatever they want” - oh and also I went on one date and we were shot up at a restaurant but he’s my boyfriend- the author tried to make her seem like she was strong- however she’s beyond weak- she just goes along with everything-
The other books she wrote in this little series weren’t bad- they weren’t great-however it was like she no longer had ideas left and just started throwing things in this and thought oh yeah this works- it does not- no woman in their right mind would ever and I mean ever be okay with a man acting like this and they just get over it and be like oh this is love. No thank you-

The summary intrigued me enough to read this book. Its about a rich guy, Brenton, who destroys a woman’s, Cecelia, livelihood by demolishing her bakery building. She then seeks revenge by stalking him and demands he gives her back her bakery.
So they become enemies. But since Cece needs a means to live, she finds a waitressing job in a restaurant who is owned Brenton’s best friends’s mom. So they keep running into each other. There’s an accident, and Brenton basically takes charge and decides he’s going to tale care of Cece.
So here’s the reason why this book is only getting 3 stars from me. I felt the writing wasn’t great, but fine mew author right? But the story also didnt add up for me. I always felt like i was missing some background information? Or transitional information? I cant pin point what it is, but I felt like I was reading a rough draft of the book and not the finished book?
What I did like about this book is that there was enough content and dialogue to satisfy my thirst for these billionaire themed romance. But I don’t think I’ll be reading the other books in this series….
