This was a nice sweet, clean second chance romance. I was able to read it in almost one setting (started in the late evening). I have not read the prior stories of the other brothers and this one really did stand on it's own.
Ryan Kelly is a NFL star for the Boston Bruisers. He fled home after his mother died. He left behind his father, four brothers and his girl-friend Rachel Moore. He couldn't deal with the loss of his mother plus the belief of possible loss of other loved ones, namely Rachel. He returns home years later at the death of his father. His father's will left certain stipulations in regards to him and his brothers.
Rachel left to further her college studies and degree. She comes home when her mother becomes gravely ill. She needs to sell her childhood home to cover the cost of the experimental treatments for her mother. To clear her head and get away from it all, she decides to go for a run. Unfortunately a blast from her past comes across her path, Ryan Kelly, the man who broke her heart.
The rest of the story is a nice getaway. I enjoyed reading this book. I was glad to see that it was written in my favorite dual POV format. It really helped me to connect with Ryan. To further understand him and to connect with him.
I highly recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a faith based second chance romance that is totally sweet and clean.
