Hutchins explains spiritual gifts in a way I had not considered before- in so far as our gifts are manifested through using them for others. He shifts the focus of seeking for our own spiritual benefit to seeking those gifts in order to serve others or the Savior. I appreciated the examples he used from scripture and modern prophets as well as emphasizing gifts we may fail to recognize.

A religious book, focusing on gifts of the spirit, and how not only should we seek after them, and develop what we have, but we likely have gifts not explicitly spelled out in the scriptures. This was a rather short book, and could use some contemplation after some of the chapters. I loved the examples from The Book of Mormon (and admit to using two of them in recent lessons).

I enjoyed the insights I gained from this book about developing spiritual gifts. I really like how the author illustrates the gifts of gratitude, gathering, being anxiously engaged in a good cause, and unwearyingness through examples of men and women in the scriptures with these specific gifts.
