*Their love cannot be governed by regulations, but the consequences can.*

When Tyler Chambers first lays eyes on Darcy there is an immediate attraction. There is also an instant violation of Navy policy if they have anything other than a professional relationship. Tyler must confine any lust he has for his lady boss to the corners of his mind.

Darcy Novak is an ambitious, cultured woman trying to make it in a man's world. She's determined to prove she can cut it as an officer in charge of repairing nuclear submarines, despite some colleagues' negative attitude and wanting her to fail. What she needs is an ally.

Tyler's efforts to fly under the radar catch Darcy's attention and wind up impressing her. When she asks for his help, he's seduced by her position of power and can't refuse, becoming her unlikely collaborator. While they strive to keep their relationship professional, the chemistry between them is too magical to ignore.

Clandestine meetings become sordid and life gets more complicated, forcing Tyler into a web of lies. His quick thinking leads him to outsmarting himself, destroying everything he had—and Darcy's career. But Tyler has one more trick up his sleeve—will it be enough?

If you are looking for hot alpha males with no fear of anything, a virgin love interest, and a few billion in the bank; may I suggest the next aisle over where you’ll also find the blindfolded bodice-rippers.

If you are looking for an author who writes safe and tip toes around sensitive issues, perhaps you should look in the “I keep a tight rein on my characters and never let them speak their mind without censorship” section.

If, like I, you subscribe to the Truman Capote philosophy “You can’t blame a writer for what the characters say,” then I have some great fiction for you.

Hi, I'm Travis. I am a beach read writer and in-print entertainer. That means I write fun books. The topics and content may be highly charged with what may be considered politically incorrect these days, but what fun is life if we can't laugh.

Here are some of my favorite lines from reviews I have received. (And they are not all 5-star “I'm the greatest writer ever.”)

* Travis Casey is a writer who takes chances. In this political satire, he hits on controversial topics. I laughed and shook my head as political correctness took a giant leap out the window. – The Mayor’s Race

* When first reading this book, I absolutely loathed it, until I realized that it was really the character, Mr. Hightower, that I hated rather than the book. To make someone hate a character as much as I despised this one is a rare talent. He is a misogynistic narcissist with a knack for gaslighting that cheats on his wife with a former student and still looks down upon others for drinking any sort of alcohol, having a job in the sex industry, and swearing of any sort. –No Halo Required

* This book will make you chuckle at the characters' antics while simultaneously wanting to scream with aggravation when they do something particularly foolish. The ratio of romance to adventure skews in favor of adventure, and it makes for an exciting story with just enough flirting to be fun. With its clever conversations, strong plot, and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, this book is worth reading! – Southern Harm

* What makes a man fall completely head over heels in love? Well, we get to see why in this amazing book told in a male's POV. This book was beautifully written with a strong voice, a great blend of love and drama. The dialog was witty and hilarious, the characters fascinating and funny. – Forbidden Trouble

* Wow, reading this book was a hilarious, thrilling voyage! The witty, raw humor in this book draws you in right away and doesn't fail to keep you entertained for the whole ride. There was more than one time I found myself laughing out loud – Oceans of Trouble

* I am speechless about the book. Too many themes running at the same time -deceit, guilt, lust, infatuation, backstabbing, etc, etc. – Trouble Triangle

A dual citizen of America and Britain, I currently live in Minnesota with my British wife and two Shih Tzu/Bichon crosses, Shelby and Sia

Mystery, adventure, and romance can all be found in Forbidden Trouble. The third book in the Tyler’s Trouble Trilogy, longtime fans of the series might finally learn if Tyler has finally gotten himself into a situation he can’t talk himself out of. Forbidden Trouble is a fun read that will have you shaking your head, giggling, and holding your breath. It is everything you expect and more from the series author Travis Casey.

Readers already familiar with the main protagonist, Tyler Chambers, will be able to settle in with familiar characters and some new ones. Suddenly the man that lived a carefree life sailing the South Pacific finds himself transferred to a cold and stressful environment in Scotland. Readers that know Tyler Chambers will be smiling in anticipation of how he reacts. New readers will find themselves giggling before the end of the first chapter.

Forbidden Trouble is a blend between romance and comedy with some steamy sex scenes. It does have lighthearted moments and some that make it almost impossible to not laugh at loud. This is a book about Tyler Chambers, a man that seems to be constantly followed around by trouble. This time it might be more than he can handle, and this is where the mystery and adventure begin.

While there is no shortage of romantic mystery adventure novels, there aren’t that many told from a man’s perspective. Forbidden Trouble gives women a unique look into the mind of a bad boy with a strong sense of right and wrong. Tyler might create fiascos or stubble into them, but he always has good intentions. This is one of his redeeming qualities. It also doesn’t hurt that he is described as an attractive man in uniform.

Forbidden Trouble may seem like a book for romantics but it also appeals to anyone that loves a good adventure story. Travis Casey keeps the story moving at a rapid pace ensuring that readers won’t get bored. Instead, they’ll find it hard to put down. It’s clear that Casey writes books that everyone can enjoy. “It didn't take a lot of persuading, but I talked the girls into doing shots of Jack Daniel's. I took turns dancing with Betty and Esther and kept the Jack and beers flowing down their lovely gullets.”

Anyone that is looking for a book that will help them escape for a little while will enjoy following Tyler Chambers as he gets himself in and out of trouble.

I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thought and opinions expressed in this review are my own.

In the delightful novel Forbidden Trouble we follow along with Tyler Chambers, a cocky man who loves nothing more than bedding random beautiful women. When Tyler finds out his job in the Navy will have him going to Scotland he is less than thrilled., that is, until he meets the delicious Darcy Novak. She's a piece that Tyler would love to have, but she is off limits as per Navy policy. In this romantic comedy we get to watch as these two struggle to keep their relationship professional and their hands to themselves.

Tyler Chambers is our main man in this novel. He's good with the ladies, smooth talker and a complete ass. I found him to be annoying, but tolerable, in the beginning of the book. I enjoyed watching Novak knocking him down a few pegs. Tyler keeps managing to get himself into all kinds of trouble which could of been lessened, if not eliminated, by him telling the truth from the start.

Darcy Novak is a hardworking professional woman trying to make it in a mans world. While she wasn't anything extraordinary, she was an enjoyable character.

Billy Earl was my favorite character. All the way from Kentucky, Billy Earl is a stereotypical "hillbilly" with all the love for his cousins. Although in his own way he just might be the smartest one on the ship, he keeps up his hillbilly persona well. He wasn't a main character but I found him funny enough to deserve an honorable mention in the review.

I laughed so hard while reading this book. I was literally laughing out loud during certain moments. While this book probably isn't for everybody, I really enjoyed it. One thing I loved about it is although it was a romance, it wasn't heavily into the mush that only exists in movies. I found this book to be the novel version of American Pie if it were set in the Navy. So if you like books and movies with the type of humor I would recommend this book for you. Also if you like romantic comedy.

Gorgeous romance

Forbidden Trouble 18+ is a meld of romance, adventure, and military that follows a military man sent on a mission but he is struggling in doing his duty while engaging in numerous sexual adventures. The woman who ultimately captures his heart seems to be out of his league and cause for trouble, an officer in the military.

The conflict is well handled, the tension grows from page to page, and the characters are genuinely flawed. I loved the beautiful prose and the detailed setting.

This time around the reader follows our beloved Tyler to Scotland. As with the other books in this trilogy, you will go from laughing out loud to swooning over Tyler's antics. Author Travis Casey fills a gap within the romance genre, which is notably dominated by women. Through his male perspective, Travis breathes a new life into his work. Unlike your typical romance novel, Tyler is perfectly imperfect, which is exactly why the reader will end up loving him so much.
