I wasn't sure I would finish this book. It was a vampire and human treasure hunt that had some exciting adventures and some sex but all of the emotions were rushed or lacking.

I'm a sucker for a vampire book, especially when there is sex involved. Makes me wonder what type of person I'd be if vampires really existed, lol. This book sucked me in right away from the begining, pun intended. It was like.. Vampire Indiana Jones with a little National Treasure, the scary witch from Robin Hood, and Avengers. Usually books with sex scenes lack in plot but this book could have stood alone without the sex scenes and still been an excellent read.

This book is fast paced, very steamy love scenes. Rachel Stone is a Archaeology she is looking for Halo Amulet. She meets Hunter who is from Guardian. Hunter is ordered to watch and protect Rachel. One night Rachel meets Hunter when something goes wrong in the museum. She knows him from the dreams she has been having that are very steamy. They must go and find Halo’s tomb to save the world and stay alive from a evil vampire. Will Rachel and Hunter make it in time to save the world? Or will they fail? Will they stay alive long a enough?

Sums up this simply fabulous & ingenious plot to the 'T'. You'll just have 2 take t x 2 read it 4 urself. Really, if u want 2 appreciate t exacting & undeniably fascinating global archeological trek throughout this book! Sorry, it's 1 sweeeeeet read,... should I give a hint? don’t read if you can’t handle dark Storylines. It’s not super dark but there are bdsm elements. I personally enjoy that sort of read and thing. It’s a great read and kept me entertained

An excellent story with lots of action and intrigue. It keeps you wondering just what is going to happen next.
I thought the ending was aprapoe and very fitting.

Zara has a great way of making the supernatural seem so probable. Her books are so well written and always a perfect ending. I truly never tire from her books.
