ღ Wow This is not your typical MC book, yeah yeah it’s got your girls & drugs, you got your gang & MC wars…. Cartels & mob…But this author through in the mix is bit of kink… You got billionaire clean up the neighborhoods he’s trying to rejuvenate has brought a target on the club. So you got bit of everything here
This is unique in the aspect that the two main characters live in two different worlds.

Gabriella has two degrees, one in criminal law & the other in paralegal studies. But no one seems to want to give her a chance with her law degree, so she the best paralegal out there!
Gabriella is also a dominant, with the need to be in control pretty much all aspect of her life…. Until she met him

Wow Rev has one hell of story behind him, but I’ll leave all the highlights to you find out on your own! Lets just say Rev rose the ranks & when the time came where the current Prez decided he couldn’t run the club any longer, he handed the gavel over, to Rev.

This was surprising change of pace when it comes to MC books, I’ve only read one other book by this author & I truly enjoyed her change in her style of writing since the last book I’ve read of hers…..I’m definitely interested in reading more of this series

This is the first book I’ve read by CJ Allison and I can truthfully say I really enjoyed it! I am an MC book fanatic and this book was really good! I really enjoyed the Dom- Sub relationship between Rev and Gabriella, it was really different than most I’ve read and that was a pleasant surprise. The storyline and writing were very strong I can say I am anxiously awaiting the next installment!!

Rev'd (The Lions Den MC, Book 1 by C. J. Allison is a story about Rev who is President of The Lions Den MC, he is a tough alpha biker who rules his club in a ruthless way but he has another persona. Rev left his jewish background behind when he joined the military disappointing his parents who wanted him to become a Rabbi. But Rev has another side to him, he needs to be controlled as his club/brothers are into Kink. Now Rev can't show his brothers that he is a natural submissive and he wonders if he will ever find a Domme to satisfy him until he meets Gabriella a paralegal who just so happens to be a Domme. When these two meet, they are instantly attracted to each other as they are aware of the other's lifestyle's needs. Rev is elated with Gabriella as he knows he has finally found his Queen. When they form a contract, Rev explains to Gabriella that his club will always come first before his need to be controlled. Gabriella agrees to his terms and finds that the more time these two are together they compliment each other as Gabriella learns that this is not going to be a short term relationship but will turn into something more as they are now both falling in love with each other. With all of the trouble Rev and his brothers are having with their business, they find they have to end this threat by the gang that is causing the club chaos. When he returns home with Gabriella so she can meet his mother, Rev finds out just what his father who he hasn't spoken to in years has been up to. His father is connected to the Polish mob, the same group who The Lions Dem MC are going into business with as his father informs him that he wanted to keep him away from his life, but now the Mob will take care of the problem he is having with the gang. This story had it all danger, violence and passion but most of a close look of the dynamics between Rev and Gabriella who embrace the lifestyle of BDSM even though Rev has to portray this tough hard as nails biker to his club but behind closed doors a natural submissive. I thoroughly enjoyed this book by C.J. Allison as she has done this genre justice as she has incorporated this lifestyle into the gritty world of the MC. I can't wait for the next book in this titillating MC series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Rev’d was to be a Rabbi, but he didn’t want that life. He joined the Marines and served his duty to the US. When he left the Marines, he didn’t know where to go or what to do. He bought a Harley and the rest was history. Now he’s the President of the Lion’s Den MC at a young age.

Gabriella lives in the Good Ol’ Boy world of the law. She is a para-legal in a big law firm. Her ultimate goal is to be in the courtroom with her own cases though. She is not a woman who likes to give up control. She has three different personas, the legal powerhouse, Gabriella; the girl next door, Gabby; and Rev’s Queen.

The Lion’s Den has been working to clean up neighborhoods with a man who has he money to do it. They are the muscle to keep the areas clean and the rebuilding to continue, keeping the gangs out. The only problem is that there is one gang that can’t seem to get the hint. When the Lion’s Den decide to branch out and work with the Polish mob things get a little on the tense side. There are secrets in the family that will come out, but there are pluses to the situation. The story is a quick paced read. I enjoyed the quick read and found it to be an engaging story. The characters are likable, and the plot was good, but it didn’t have that wow factor for me. With that being said, I would not pass up on reading more of The Lion’s Den MC stories. I think KO’s book might be pretty good just from what was in this one. I give the story a 3.5-star review and if you like MC romance or stories with kink, I think you would like this book.

Holy Hotness you have to read Rev'd by CJ Allison. This is one hot and different MC book. I love that CJ always pushes the boundaries of what is considered normal in her books. And Rev'd is no different.
Bad-ass biker president who is a sub??? That doesn't happen ever! But it does here and CJ makes it look effortless. The relationship between Rev and Gabriella shouldn't work and definitely shouldn't make sense. At first I wasn't sure how it work, not that he was a sub and she a Domme, But that he is the President of an MC who is a sub. Except it works perfectly and seamlessly. If you want a different kind of MC, a Woman Domme, and a bad-ass President. Then you definitely need to grab your copy today. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait for the next book.

I wasn't sure about this, don't get me wrong I'm not averse to d/s it's just I normally read about Doms not Domme, and with Rev being a Prez of a Biker Club wasn't sure how it would come across, but it was good, not what I expected, but good. To say more would spoil the enjoyment of the reader finding out for themselves what I mean, and I did enjoy this and I look forward to reading more from the Lions Den.

Liked it...not so much

Was disappointed! I normally don't give up on a book and all the way through. I only made it half way through this book and could get myself to go on. The idea of the book was good, that's what drew me to it, however the content was rushed and fragmented. Do more research on BDSM and what it truly takes to write about it to make the story believable. What little I read was kindergarten BDSM. Research Research and more Research.

So good

I want to start off by saying that this type of book is so not my thing. I don't read BDSM at all, but it was an MC book so I had a dilemma.....

I'm so pleased I read this. I loved it. The author writes a beautiful story, with kink, but in a way that draws you in, not leaves you wondering if you should be privy to what's going on.

The mix between MC and the couple's relationship is well balanced. Yeah I thought it was really good.

Rev is the President of the Lion's Den MC.. He rules his club with an iron fist but when it comes to the bedroom he needs to be ruled.. He knows finding the perfect woman is practically impossible until he meets Gabriella.

Gabriella is working in a law firm and is not happy with her life.. She loves her job but she really wants to be a lawyer and she's is stuck as a paralegal. She also likes to be in control and when she meets Rev there is something about him that makes her realize she can be not only be in control but lose it too. This scares her but in the end will her heart open to the idea?
