Candy Ray Sunshine--Yes, that is my real name, thank you very much, Mom and Dad--knew two things. One, she was going to work her butt off and open her very own coffee shop, even if she had to die doing it. Two, Banks Valentine was the world’s worst ex-boyfriend in the history of ex-boyfriends. Even if they were only boyfriend and girlfriend for one evening. She wouldn’t sneeze on him even if he was on fire. *** Banks Valentine also knew two things. One, he was an immature jerk when he was in high school, and Candy Ray Sunshine probably could open a coffee shop if she put her mind to it. But he still thinks that she should shoot a little higher, anything that gets her the heck out of Kilgore, Texas. Two, he likes riding bulls. It’s a dangerous job, and when he gets on the back of one of those thousand-pound death machines, he can finally feel his head clear enough that he can think. *** Candy and Banks would never get along. Not after what he said, and definitely not after what she did. Then again, neither one of them expected that night to end the way it did, either—the night that both of them refused to talk about the next morning.
Lani Lynn Vale is married to the love of her life that she met in high school. She fell in love with him because he was wearing baseball pants. Ten years later they have three perfectly crazy children and a cat named Demon who likes to wake her up at ungodly times in the night. They live in the greatest state in the world, Texas. She writes contemporary and romantic suspense, and has a love for all things romance. You can find Lani in front of her computer writing away in her fictional characters world...that is until her husband and kids demand sustenance in the form of food and drink.
These Valentine boys really know their way into a woman's heart and Banks certainly wormed himself into mine!
Banks and Candy knew each other in high school. He was the most popular guy in school while she was the token goth girl that never fit in. They also had huge crushes on each other that really didn't get a chance to go anywhere because in one night, not only did Banks torpedo her self worth, she suffered a horror that no one should ever have to endure. One night turned Candy's crush into hate and that animosity grew in the years to follow.
And then Banks, being Banks, quickly got underneath Candy's skin, forcing her to come to terms with everything that happened. Giving her the chance to show him how his immaturity had changed her life. Allowing them to move past it and open up about their affection for one another. Lani Lynn Vale delivered a tale that had a bit of heartbreak and a ton of romance. It was so easy to enjoy the journey these characters were taking. From their frenemy past to their barely cordial new beginning to their fake relationship to their fall into love. Throw in some bucking bulls and incredible banter and you've got an entertaining read that will be impossible to put away.
I keep telling y'all. If you're looking for a fantastic read, LLV never lets you down!
Yes, unfortunately I didn't like that at all. Firstly due to the recurrent fact of the majority of novels today, i.e the heroine with a tragic past with a frustrated sex life or practically nonexistent while the hero also with a tragic past who claims to have always loved the heroine, but for sure it did not prevent him from being with several other women. Needless to say this cliché is more than outdated (but yet, OUTDATED). Another thing that bothered me was the thought that she (h) felt the need to apologize to him about the tragic night ... Uh ?! I saw noooooooo sense of it. I didn't feel that any issue was really addressed properly. I believe that if the author had the objective of keeping things light, it should not involve such tragic events. It seemed superficial, in addition to the sexist aspect. It would be a good idea for the author to start reviewing the characters because every book I've read of her lately looks the same.
Hot Damn… These Valentine Boys, or should I say Banks and Candy, sure put me through the wringer! Every single possible emotion, Chute Yeah guaranteed ALL of them!
I did not expect this book to put me to tears and break my heart for Candy immediately in the first few chapters! It really wrecked me…
God, I really needed to get it together. But, the problem was, I didn’t ever have it together when it came to Banks Valentine.
After reading the second book, I knew we were headed for quite a journey with these two, but I was beyond shocked when the heartbreaking scene and its consequences happens, and it was not at all like I anticipated. And it is regarding that initial scene and how it’s not only kind brushed over in the present, but specially Banks’ intentional role in the matter that my only issues with their story happened. For me, sure, Banks was not the one that cause it to happen, but it were is actions that in a way led to it, so I was kind of disappointed that Candy just so easily forgot and forgave so fast – yes, I know it’s been years, but they are just now in contact with one another, so in this timeline, it was fast for me – while I never truly forgot why she was in that situation, specially the what if. We can’t change the past, sure, but I wanted him to truly feel the impact of his actions – tho he was living is own nightmare too, I know, but know that he knows what happened he should have groveled more, imo.
“Because life doesn’t work that way, Banks,” she said. “I’m broken. Nobody wants the broken things.” I begged to differ. I wanted the broken things. I wanted her.
And apart from a couple of initial references to it, although I much like that it’s not focused on what happened in the past – I just felt it was kind of made light of something that would still mark her to this day, so I don’t know if it’s because of the easiness she just let go and brushed it aside, but I just felt unsatisfied for her, in this.
That being said, only Lani Lynn Vale could make me end up with such happiness for a couple when at the start my heart was bleeding and my belly hurting for Candy, while wanting to nut punch Banks, lol. After the past was let go, which as I said was quite early on, we get the full splendor of the LLV effect. Pure literary delight!!!
Candy Ray Sunshine would finally be mine.
I wanted it all. With her.
Candy and Banks, once they let the past go, were such an amazing couple together. The banter, the chemistry, and the love, was incredibly to witness and I couldn’t get enough! Sure, I once again could have gone without the ‘have loved you since we were kids/always loved you’, but we all know how that is one of MY personal peeves, specially considering how things unroll in the past – yes, I know Banks was just a stupid kid as he said, but still, those words just made my eye twitch hard, lol – but I could have gone without these type of declarations. What makes it better for me here is that even considering what happened, she wasn’t exactly pining for him either, so I was happier about the whole thing.
And once she gave the go and clear the air, seeing Banks’ joy at finally being able to express his feelings and making her HIS, wow, damn… He sure is one HOT cowboy! Kind, gentle, attentive, but still all Alpha and devoted to her and her feelings, the man sure turned into an amazing romance hero. Candy was a kickass, take no crap kind of woman, and I LOVED it!
This couple was SCORCHING together, oh boy, were they ever! The steam level in their sexy times is off the charts!
Another HUGE highlight for me, not only in this book, but in every single one of this series, is the true, deep, unbreakable bound of the Valentine family. They love each other so genuinely and so intensely, that it’s impossible not to fall for these men. They are so true to themselves, and the way they love and care for their own, is sure to bring the coldest of hearts warmth. So swoon worthies!!!
“You make it incredibly hard to be good,” he said gruffly. The problem was, I didn’t want him to be good. I wanted him to be bad. I wanted to be bad with him.
I’ve said it many times before, and guess I’ll say it many times again, Lani Lynn Vale is a romance mastermind! Only her can pick up a subject that normally would put me off, and still make me enjoy the hell out of not only the story, but also root for the couple, and be so beyond happy for they achievements, and their HEA. Chute Yeah is the proof of exactly that. All the possible feels in a crescendo that wraps up in the most heart warming and HAPPY of emotions. Addictive writing is too lesser of a descriptions, I can not get enough! Specially after that sneak peek at Darby’s book, I can’t wait to see what Ms. Vale will bring us on the last of this epic family of cowboys… I NEED IT NOW!!! <3 <3 <3 <3
“I squeeze you, Banks,” I told him. “If it’s my choice, I’m going to always choose you.”
“And I squeeze you, too.”
“You’re worth the wait, though,” he told me seconds later. “Always have been, always will be.”

Chute Yeah is a fun yet emotional romance. Old crushes and old hurts have made Candy and Banks relationship as adults strained, even though their relationship is strained it doesn’t hide the chemistry they have. Banks wants Candy, always has and he doesn’t understand how badly he hurt her when they were teenagers or how that incident impacted her life. Banks is on a mission to wear Candy down but Candy isn’t sure she can forgive and forget. Banks starts turning on that cowboy charm and his stubborn determination to finally make Candy his and it’s an emotional, sexy and fun ride for the two of them to finally get the love they both deserve and want.
Each of the Valentine Boy’s books can be read as a standalone, but once you read one you are going to definitely grab the rest of the series. NOW I am not so patiently waiting to get my hand on the youngest Valentine boy’s book! Bring on Darby!!!
I knew going in that I was going to love Banks and Candy's story. First because Lani Lynn Vale wrote it. Secondly because this series has been great. But mainly because the tension between them was palpable in Crazy Heifer, I just knew it was going to be amazing when it exploded.
What I didn't know was how much my heart was going to break for Candy. I thought the drama between her and Banks was normal dickhead, egotistical, teenager boy behaviour from when they were in high school carried over into adult animosity. I had this assumption that he had messed up and she had held a grudge. And I figured he would grovel and voila smoking hot chemistry explodes. Boy was I wrong. Candy broke my heart and made me love her for all that she went through and how beautifully she dealt with it.
There was so much more to this story than I anticipated. And I loved it. I loved that Candy was the awesome person that she was. And I really loved that Banks had grown up and realised that she was everything he wanted. They were so sweet together and that epilogue just killed me. I loved it so hard. And now I can't wait to get Darby's book next.
Candy Ray and Banks!!!! I've been excited for Chute Yeah since the previous book when we discovered that Candy Ray HATES Banks for something he did to her in high school. I love a good second chance!
So both of them crushed on the other, but one night brings all that to a grinding halt for Candy. But, they can't ignore each other any longer since they are neighbors, and Banks starts pushing Candy to tell him what he did! This gives us a peek into Candy that will tug at your emotions for sure. It also gives Banks a chance to flex his primo book boyfriend muscles! Chute Yeah really brings together a great couple.
Chute Yeah hits the right blend of emotional, funny, and swoony and does so in a quick read that you could finish in a weekend. It is a great book to help take your mind of the current state of the world and find some happiness and joy! Lani Lynn Vale is one of my go to authors. She has never disappointed me and Chute Yeah continues the tradition. She has a TON of books out, so if you find you enjoy her writing, you have a plethora of backlist choices that include motorcycle clubs, dragon shifters, police, and cowboys! She writes them all!
POV: dual 1st Tears: no Trope: second chance, cowboys Triggers: Series/Standalone: stand alone (but it helps to read the previous 2 books in this series) Cliffhanger: HEA:

Lord does Lani know how to test our limits when it comes to her adding shocking revelations into her stories.
I really DID NOT expect their story this way. Like not one bit.
Banks and Candy have known eachother since high school and it's safe to say their relationship was not a friendly one. Both had secret attractions to the one another but Banks being the cook kid on the block and Candy being different made it so that they wouldn't act on it. If anything he was a little dick head to her. One night changed everything for the both of them in very different but equally traumatic ways. Despite their pasts neither one could've ever seen it coming. The pain and suffering they endured was horrific and most definitely shaped them both. Fast forward a few years and they're back in town at the same time with that same underlying crush and mutual dislike for each other. Only this time they're grown and ALOT has changed for them both.
Ok I'm just going to be upfront and say I disliked Banks a whole lot at the beginning and he rightfully deserved it for being a little pin head. But let's just say he made up for his sins real quick and got me all for team Banks.
Both Candy and Banks have so much depth. They really are characters that have so much to give. Years on from that traumatic night for them both and they are still very much dealing with the scars that haunt them. But their journey isn't all heartbreak nope, these two rise up stronger.
The characters growth of it all. Like I said Banks had a rough start with me but the years away definitely did him good. He grew so much as a person and with new found revelations he made changes that were so good for him and for them both. As a character he definitely is a typical alpha with a short fuse and that hard headed approach to keeping those he loves safe. but he also has this sweet sensitivity to him that softens that hard front. Candy .. lord I loved her. She's made of the strong stuff for sure. The time away gave her the chance to grow into a strong independent women who wasn't afraid to make her opinion known. She found herself but she also then found people who loved her for her. I was absolutely routing for her the whole damn way.
“I’m broken. Nobody wants the broken things.” I begged to differ. I wanted the broken things. I wanted her.
Their story isn't all hearts and flowers. It's real raw and heartwrenching at times. Both characters met when they were young and had to grow up way to fast but they grew into something stronger and more able to deal with their past and present. It definitely has that love to hate frenemies vibe in the beginning but as their walls drop you get to see legit magic between. The connection has always been there but the chemistry was positively explosive when they stopped hating on each other. They brought out the best and the worst of one another in many ways but I think that's the best kind of proof that they are IT together.
Of course because this is a Lani story she gave us an abundance of sarcastic wit, hilarious shenanigans and downright dysfunctional friend/family relationships.
“Do you remember way back when before cell phones, we had to read that shit while we… shit?” he asked, sounding amused. LOL! ain't this the truth 😂
The hurt and heart break. The sweet and sassy. The love and the laughter. Everything just fit perfectly. I love the side characters both old and new and I'm so excited for what's to come. I love the dynamics between the characters. The easy banter, laughter and love is infectious to read and gave me all the good feels. This is an emotional rollercoaster with many ups and downs but Lani definitely did them and their journey justice and I am a fan of Candy and Banks for sure.
So, I have read the series and I have to be honest as I always am but I was not feeling this one to the max, check out my full review on my BLOG -> CLICK HERE
Gosh...maybe it’s this virus, maybe it’s me...I don’t know but this didn’t work for me. I was bored, it took me 4 days to read this and this has been happening a lot lately with this authors books. I love her and her writing in the past has been flawless but I think she’s trying to hard and is losing her mojo. I do love the Valentine brothers but this was just too easy for me. I wish I had had some conflict, some angst, ya know?? Anyhoo another one bites the dust. Maybe it’s just this time we are living in that’s causing me to hate everything I’m reading.
Angst⭐️ Cheating None Sexy Time ⭐️ Epilogue ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Plot⭐️⭐️⭐️
Mixed feelings about this. I liked a lot of it... but there were some thing that just didn't gel for me. See, the thing is... it was his fault, what happened. I mean, not directly... but if he hadn't said 'yes', she wouldn't have been there in the first place. I kind of wish that that hadn't been the kick-start for the story. It made it overly sensationalised in a way. This was a serious thing that had happened to her... an event that would shape most people's entire future's... and a lot of the time, not in a positive way. It gives a skewed view of the world and the people in it and the relationships that are developed. I feel very strongly about this. I know that there are people who can and have managed to live full and fulfilling live after such a catastrophic event... but, this seemed too easy for me... the fact that the one man who she was so focused on was the one who was inextricably linked to such a painful memory. But, perhaps, that is just my view on it.
I did like the man that Banks had become. I did like Candy.
The story seemed slow and yet rushed at the same time.
This book broke my heart by the events that transpired but also put it back together just as swiftly. Candy and Banks knew each other in high school but were on opposite sides of the social ladder then one night that ended very differently for them that resulted in a tragedy that will have you reeling shaped them before in a way that no one can understand now it’s years later and the former enemies are back in each other’s orbits but there past is still very much on the forefront. This story was sad, beautiful and so funny at times that if I wasn’t crying I had a kool aid smile on my face!!
I’ve read all of Lani Lynn Vale’s books, and I’ve been along for the entire ride as she’s built this fictional world in East Texas. The tragic story of the Valentine family is one that stuck with me through many other characters’ stories, and I’ve waited patiently for Vale to get around to telling these boys’ tales. It’s been worth the wait. Lani could have gone in a lot of different directions with the Valentine Boys, but she’s opted to make their stories, thus far, lighter and happier by letting their tragic history speak for itself but allowing the adult Valentine men to heal and move on to more joyful futures. I think this was exactly the right way to go with these stories, and I’m really loving this series.
Banks Valentine, a Wranglers-and-chaps-wearing bull rider, and Candy Ray Sunshine have a complicated, painful history going back to high school. The worst experiences of both of their lives happened on the same night. Two very different events, but unfortunately, Banks unintentionally played a role in Candy’s incident. Fast forward to the present, and the torch they both carried for each other back then is still burning. They had plenty of issues to overcome, but that chemistry always present between them still sizzles. Candy has healed and moved on from her traumatic past, and I loved how determined Banks was to earn her trust, atone for the past and love her. This couple was so sexy together, and once Candy opened her heart to Banks, they were so supportive of each other and so right for each other.
Chute Yeah was full of feels, and Lani used all that emotion to turn heart-break in happily ever. I loved everything about Banks and Candy’s sweet and sexy second-chance love story. Five smooches from me for Chute Yeah by Lani Lynn Vale! ~Danielle Palumbo
In high school Banks Valentine was the popular boy everyone wanted to be around and Candy Ray Sunshine was the weird goth girl. Candy took a chance on Banks only to have it backfire on the same night that Bans life changed forever. Years later the animosity that Candy holds for Banks is still there and now that she is partners with his sister in law with their coffee/bakery shop he is back in her life. Push comes to shove and Banks gets a second chance with Candy. He is stunned when Candy comes up with an idea to keep his fans at the rodeo away, but Banks as seeing this as an opportunity for a fresh start with Candy will she feel the same?
This was so unexpected, not what I imagined when I read the teaser on the last book. Candy Ray is fantastic and is one of my new favorite heroines. Banks I liked a lot, he is different then what I thought and this book blew me away. Fantastic, my favorite in the series so far.
I knew Banks's story was going to be awesome. And it so was. Banks and Candy together was so sweet. I loved that it's almost like they decided it was enough to be in this love/hate thing going and just gave in to their feelings for each other😍
My heart just Broke for Candy and what she went through and so it did for Banks. Evetyime I read about what their family went through in each book it just breaks me😔 But I think both of them so broken they just knew how to fix each other💖
I am excited for Darby's story. I know it's going to be another Heartbreakers. Lani I am loving these new books and I am waiting in anticipation for the next one😍
I wasn't sure I was going to like this one going into it. We got a bit with Candy in the last book and it seemed like she and Banks were nemesis, going back a long time. How then are we supposed to root for them as a couple???? But things were written so I could get on board hoping for them to end up happy. Sure it took a weird turn, it is a Vale book after all. I especially loved how loopy Candy got on meds, made for some fun reading!!
Book 3 in Valentine Boys by Lani Lynn Vale I love that all theses book have the main characters hating each other. Banks is a Valentine boy that is a bull rider and compete when isn’t working on the family farm. Candy Ray Sunshine is the weird goth girl from high school that asks Banks out to school prom and when she gets there is totally humiliated in front of everyone. That night was just being humiliating but horrific and Candy never told anyone. Candy’s donkey really likes the Valentine land and keeps escaping, Banks brings her back and sparks fly. I absolutely love this book and it might be my favourite. Sebastian York did are amazing job but Maxine Mitchell narrating Candy Ray painkiller reaction and post dental procedure is absolutely hilarious. Loving this series can’t wait to find out how Darby book goes.
I wasn’t sure what Chute Yeah had in store for me as the first part of this book had the tears streaming down my face. However as the tears from the pain and heartache dried, new tears formed, but don’t worry these were ones resulting from the laughter that at times I couldn’t control. Banks and Candy stole my heart and had me captivated by their journey from pain to happiness. Their story was emotional, heartfelt, witty and overflowing with passion. Another Valentine that will have you absolutely enamored and wanting to pull on a pair of boots and head to the rodeo. Be prepared though because eight seconds will never be enough with Banks and Candy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(note : this book mentions rape and suicide even if nothing is explicitly described so be careful !)
A romance that I was looking forward to very much (enemies to lovers romances are among my favorites =))
It's almost a second chance romance here (almost because the heroes have never really been together) and I have to admit I didn't expect this level of angst at first (my heart sank broke in ten million pieces for Candy !! I wanted so badly to get into the book and hug her (and also hit Banks really hard !)) but then after this first part we go back to cozy romance with a cute and sexy love story (I loved Candy who accompanies Banks to the rodeos to "defend" him =D)
Once again, it lacks drama for me to make it a real favorite but it's my preference =)
In short, a "cowboy" romance to devour without moderation =)
Ah! Another heartbreaking emotional start to a HEA for our protagonists – and it was one that had me glued to the book; especially considering I was really interested to know WHY Candy hated Banks, the next Valentine boys!
Candy and Banks connection with each other, one that started out in High School – a sort of frenemies; a connection that culminate in a night that will, for the rest of the their lives, be the worst night of their lives.
Banks, is still dealing with the consequences of the night when his father shot him and his siblings and then killed himself – it is a night that will have long term consequences, ones that he will not know the depth of until Candy comes back to town. Candy, a girl he knew he was a jerk to in high school.
Candy, on the other hand, came back to a town that she wanted to keep in her review mirror for the rest of her life – but her father’s ill health and an opportunity to open a coffee shop, a long standing dream of hers that she fulfils by opening it with Desi, Bank’s sister in law.
Now, no matter how much they would like to avoid each other, Banks and Candy know they just might not have the chance to do so. What they did not expect was that the connection they though t was hate, might not be hate after all.
Like always, Lani Lynn Vale does fan – freaking – tastic job of penning down another HEA that grew out of a connection that could have been easily turned ugly; but they rose to be better, and understand each other – a love story that will make your soul happy!
A few parts of Chute Yeah felt flat for me. I liked the characters but it seemed to me we were shown just a surface of their real lives, that the author could have dived much deeper into their issues and personalities, drawn so many more emotions out of them.
Romance story all the way. Smitten since high school, Banks and Candy always had eyes for each other. But event's happened. Fast forward some maturing years and see what happens.
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Candy Ray Sunshine and Banks Valentine were anything but friends in high school. One night that ended in a way no one would have expected and they are both left with the scars. Years later and they are living in the same town again and Candy is hating Banks as much as always. Yet, this is always a thin line between love and hate.
Candy and Banks have been through a lot. I'm not saying that lightly either. Both of them had things happen to them that could have ended very differently. Yet, they are both fighting to be stronger than their pasts. This is one had a lot of emotion in it that I loved. I will say that I cried in some parts just because there was so much pain.
Yet, the happiness that also happens throughout this book is blinding. These two have awesome chemistry and I loved every single second of this book. As always Lani Lynn Vale takes us on a ride that leaves up breathless and jumping at the chance to get right back on.I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. The third of the Valentine brothers' stories belongs to Banks. Back in high school, before "that night" happened, Banks had been popular and quite the hottie. Then there had been Candy Ray Sunshine. Candy was also known as "goth girl" and was teased relentlessly, but after getting a yes from Banks when she summoned up the courage to ask him to a dance, the night in question changed both their lives forever... for the worse. Jump to present day and both are back in town, both lusting after each other, and both silently hoping that maybe they will finally get a chance at a happy ever after. Is that hoping for too much though?
This was yet again a brilliant story from Lani Lynn Vale that I devoured in pretty much one sitting. I love Laniland and can't wait for the next one to take me back there. I give Chute Yeah 5 stars.
****************** Review by: Jennifer (5 stars)
Another hit out of the park! Banks and Candy give us some major feels in this story! High school isn't easy for anyone, for Candy it was horrible and Banks Valentine had a hand in that. Now years later, high school was long ago but the feelings still remain. Candy hasn't forgiven Banks for the part he played. What would it take for her to forgive him? What happens when all the cards are put on the table, and secrets are shared?
This is not a standalone and should be read with the previous books from the Valentine series. Candy's story broke me and I will forever be in her corner. Seeing everything play out with loads of drama, some really hot moments, and of course some bull riding; this was a really entertaining story that I couldn't put down till it was done. I give this 5 stars.
Chute Yeah (The Valentine Brothers #3) by Lani Lynn Vale is a hilarious and emotional rollercoaster romance read. I have been so waiting for this story because it's Candy Ray Sunshine and Banks Valentine's story!! They have history together that goes back to high school and back then, some of it wasn't good at all. Without giving the story away, just know that Candy and Banks story is heartbreaking, emotional, touching, funny, heartwarming, steamy, intense and amazing. I totally didn't expect to read what I read in this book and I really loved everything. I loved the characters, chemistry and family history that was written. Everything comes together quite brilliant. I can't wait for the next book in this series.
Candy & Banks have a bit of a rough start. The worst day of their lives is the same day but for different reasons. And Banks, unfortunately, has a hand in why Candy's day was the worst. So although the book opens w/ quite a bit of humor, I was still pretty sad for all they had to go through!
Their story really takes off once Banks has to return her donkey, tho... They begin a friendship that turns into a fake relationship neither of them wants to be fake, which pretty quickly turns real. We get lots of laughs & steamy goodness & a really great HEA!
I love their banter & the way they are w/ the rest of the Valentine family. And DARBY!!! He's definitely a great addition to the story & I'm looking forward to his own HEA.
3.5 stars.. The first part is entirely deep and heartbreaking than I imagined. I just want to hug Candy so tight and tell her to hold on.. The blurb is misleading because Banks has never been his boyfriend when they are younger she just ask him for the dance and back then Bank is such a bully that I wanted to slapped him. Fast forward to the present time we saw their chemistry on the last book and I am actually looking forward to meet them and get to know them hence getting the book as soon as it is out.. I love the scenes at the Rodeo, the effect of pain meds to Candy was a riot.. The proposal was sweet as their love for dessert 🍰 🍫 Can't wait for the last Valentine man Darby!
Man I love everything Lani writes! But boy do I love her Valentine cowboys! She definitely didn’t disappoint with Banks.
I have loved Banks in the previous two books. There was just something about him, be it his quiet don’t mess with me attitude, that just made me love him and knew that there was more too him. He definitely showed that in this book especially with Candy.
Candy per usual broke my heart in Part I. Oh man did she kill me with what happened to her. But I think Banks got to me too once he finds out what happened. I adored these two together. They are so perfect for each other.
I can’t wait for Darby’s book next. I am super excited who the heroine is going to be!! But I will be sad to have to end this series as it’s in my top 5 cowboy romance series.
