Good thing her agent finds her the perfect animal trainer. Bad thing –it’s the man who broke her heart five years ago. When Noelle turns into Seth’s relationship coach, and Seth can’t believe he ever let this woman go, spark’s fly. Now they are faced with a choice: forgive or walk away and lose the only true love they ever had.

Her Quiet Billionaire Groom is a sweet second chance romance by the talented Jackie Castle. Seth and Noella were sweethearts years ago when Seth misspoke, a serious misunderstanding occurred and they parted ways. Now they are reunited at Seth's ranch when Noella arrives as a client of Seth's animal training business when she brings her two Great Danes for some obedience training. And Seth has signed up with several online dating websites in order to find a bride by Christmas so he can fulfill his father's last wishes in his will. It's easier said than done since despite Seth's good looks and money, his not-so-silver tongue keeps getting him dumped by his dates. He wishes he could have one more chance with the one that got away.... meanwhile Noella is having trouble assuming the alpha role with her dogs who think she is just a cute little puppy in their pack. Seth and Noella make a bet--he will coach her on how to master her pets and she will coach him on how to get a second date. There are lots of humorous moments and some suspenseful moments in this book; it definitely kept me engaged. Highly recommend!
The story, despite the absurd 'will stipulation to marry by Christmas or else' premise, was engaging and fun - mainly because of the dogs, & I'm not even much of a dog person, but I liked them & the training angle was interesting.
Despite Noella's prickliness, she's written well enough to understand where she's coming from & to feel sympathy.
Seth suffers from being a straightforward guy with foot-in-mouth disease. He speaks directly from his heart, but his brain doesn't always translate it into the best words.
So fair warning, it's a form of "failure to communicate" romance, but for myself, I felt that the cause was explained well enough to make it understandable as opposed to the contrived ones that I find frustrating.
The plot itself was pretty standard second chance romance & a little choppy. I really would have liked Seth and Noella to talk their messed up relationship out more & find some level of resolution to make their reconciliation more believable.
The editing, while not a major issue, missed some surprisingly obvious mistakes (ie "went" for "had gone") that's sure to upset compulsive grammar nazis.
There were a few occasions when the narrative failed to provide minor transitioning of the characters from one dialogue set to the next & I'd be left wondering how the characters had gotten from one point to the next, but it wasn't egregious.
However, the most important factor was that I enjoyed the book & how the dogs were woven into it - so despite its flaws, it's an enjoyable story & I recommend it.
*Clean romance level: sweet kisses *Religion: a few moments of generically Christian talk about praying for guidance & trusting in God that fit naturally into the story
I loved Her Quiet Billionaire Groom! Jackie Castle wrote a wonderful story of second chance romance. Noelle Comes needs help with her two rambunctious Great Danes to secure a job in TV as a relationship coach. Seth Kelly has been hired by the tv company to train both Noelle and the Danes. Seth in the meantime needs to find a wife to get his inheritance by Christmas and is preoccupied with dating. Seth and Noelle were in love in college until he left for veterinarian school and they broke up. This is a great concept for second chance love especially with the rambunctious Danes. Jackie Castle wrote a sweet, wonderful romantic story that I throughly enjoyed reading. I received a free copy of this book as an ARC for an honest review of it.
While I am not fond of the cowboy and billionaire romance genre, as an avid reader I enjoy books with a unique premise, second chances, annoying characters, and disobedient Great Danes. While this romance is part of a multi-author series, the story can be read as a stand alone. Jackie Castle is a talented multi-genre author. Her stories have a touch of intrigue, which makes the reader wanting more. Her Quiet Billionaire Groom has a premise of inheritance with a time crunch - three months to marry. WOW! As a dog lover, currently training a pup, I enjoyed Seth Kelly's occupation and dog training tips. Well done!
He runs an animal training ranch. He also rescues unwanted animals which is the charity that his father's legacy is funding. Each of his brothers and he have their favorite charities, and to keep getting funding for them they each need to be married by Christmas, just two months away.
She needs a trainer for her two Great Danes, Dash and Dottie - giant toddlers!
She and he used to be a couple but misunderstandings tore them apart. Can they come back together again?
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this clean romance. Dottie and Dash make for lots of humor, some tears for Noella, and some heroic moments. Noella and Seth are very likable characters and are easy to relate to. The plot has some twists in it and moves along quickly. There is an HEA and a perfect epilogue. I would recommend this book to readers of clean/wholesome romance, especially those that enjoy animals in the book. I got my copy through KU.
I loved reading this book! It's a feel-good & moving Christmas romance. They had dated in college. When Seth, was offered a great opportunity, he took it, never looking back. Noella, isn't the timid girl she used to be. She has big plans for herself. Seth ❤ Noella's emotions, humor & their chemistry pulled me in & kept me hooked. Enjoyed the Dynamic Duo, Dash & Dottie. 🎄 A MUST READ!! 🎄
Her Quiet Billionaire Groom is a must read for those who love dogs and a sweet romance. I loved these characters who were both upset at situations in their respective lives. Noelle agrees to be Seth's relationship coach. He agrees to train her and here dogs. What could possibly go wrong? I loved reading this book - it is witty, has well portrayed characters and an engaging story.
I liked the storyline and even appreciated a few tips for helping train my own dog. However, I’m stuck on the title. Seth is not quiet. In fact, he continually gets in trouble on his dates for being too outspoken. He is caught up in his animal training and rescue business, but he’s not quiet about it.
Sweet story of a young woman with 2 great Danes and a dog whispered named Sam. Sam has a deadline to get married by Christmas and Noella needs to have her dogs trained. Sam. And Noella were friends in college, but each of them has reasons for needing a wife and her training the dogs.
I really liked that Seth is not a people person. I love when book characters are not perfect but are realistic. It was great to know that Noella was insecure with self doubts, just like many of us. The story telling was great! I enjoyed seeing Seth and Noella overcome their past and figure out their relationship.
Seth starts his journey into dating and finds it hard. He unknowingly considers a meeting a date. He is brought face to face with his past. Noella is his past but she needs his help with her two digs. Can they help each other, leave the past in the past can they reach their dreams. This book was so sweet, so much fun
This is definitely a beautiful and loving look at a second chance romance with adorable and heartwarming characters that will definitely melt your heart as they journey towards unconditional love and understanding.
Seth and Noelle have a romantic past that ended badly. Fast forward a few years - and their next meeting is kinda funny. I was so glad they talked it out sooner rather than later. They both had ah ha moments which I loved. The ending was so sweet.
The author gives depth to her characters & effectively describes emotions. The dog scenes add a lot of humor to the story. Her descriptions let the reader be there. Mary added lots of humor to the story as well.
Can Seth and Noella have a second chance at love? Seth broke with Noella to pursue his dreams at Texas A&M to become a veterinary. Now Noella needs a trainer for her two Danes and Seth needs a wife before Christmas. Can they work together and not to fall in love again? Faith in second chances.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were great, the story was great, there was humour and loveable dogs ! What more do you want ! Definitely worth reading.
