This was a really great start to a new series, for me this author is getting better and better.
Jackson is stunned when his older brother announces that he’s bringing his ex-fiancée to the annual family Halloween party, but when his sister tries to arrange a date for him he’s shocked when he turns up and it’s with the one woman he’s never believed he could have. This is a chance he has no intention of giving up Megan is the woman he wanted as his own for years but can he convince her she’s not a rebound and to give them a chance?
Megan loved Jackson all her life but he never looked at her as anything other than his sisters best friend. No man has ever matched Jackson in anyway but after her best friend begs her to be his date for the annual Halloween party she agrees, she never expected him to look at her like she was his everything but after a magical night together will she give them a chance or will someone try to destroy their love before they get a chance at forever?
Really loved these two, sweet love story with a bit of other woman drama. Insta quick read definitely recommend it.

Megan was a wet blanket "I'm bigger so he won't want me". Jackson was... Well, I had to look at the book title to remember his name. Added bonus, Megan tells us she has very little experience that doesn't involve her hand and thoughts of Jackson. 🙄
I need to skip any and all "bff's brother" books.
Safe mostly... His ex causes drama later in the very short book. Apparently he makes up for it.

Jackson is annoyed that his brother has to take his ex-finance to their family halloween.. because of work.. he hates the idea because his ex is a cheating bad person. So his baby sister has a plan get him a date to keep him busy and not around his ex.
And that's Megan... they both wanted eachother in highschool but he was older (4 years) and she was young so he pushed that away.. now they are hot and heavy for one another.. but some drama happens and misunderstandings that had Megan running away.

Yayyy for a heroine that doesn't put up with garbage and makes the hero do some work before falling back into bed with him!!! A fast read with everything it needs including a touch of drama and a happily ever after.

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Jackson has known Megan since they were in high school, she is his little sister best friend. Jackson didn't let on that he had a crush on Megan in high school he felt she was to young for him. Megan also has a crush on Jackson but Jackson's sister, Abby knows. When Jackson needs a date for his mother's halloween party his sister Abby tries to set him up with her roommate, but she has to cancel. So Abby asks Megan if she'll be Jackson's date, she has to beg but Megan finally agrees. When Jackson shows up at Abby's to pick up his date she has to tell him there is a change in plans. Megan doesn't think that Jackson wants to go with her but he actually does. When they get to the halloween party Jackson's ex-girlfriend, who cheated on him shows up. Jackson's ex-girlfriend tells him she can't believe he came with Megan, but he shuts her up. While they are dancing Jackson kisses Megan when he pulls away from her he can see the desire in her eyes. Jackson asks Megan if she's ready to leave, he wants to get her to his house. Jackson picks up Megan and carries her then finds out she wasn't wearing any panties. He asks her how long she's been without them, and she tells him all night. Jackson tells Megan he wants to take her to his house and asks her if that's alright. They begin kisses as soon as the door is closed, they strip each other of their clothes, then he pleasures her. They make love several times over night, but when Jackson wakes the next morning Megan is gone. He knows he needs to find her, so he asks his sister Abby. She tells him that Megan is at work at her coffee shop. Jackson head to Megan's coffee shop and tells her he was expecting to find her in his bed this morning. Megan tells him she had to work, so they exchange phone numbers. Then he tells her where his spare key is and tells her to be at his house when he's done working. Megan gets to Jackson's house and the key isn't where he told her it would be. Then Megan sees the curtain move so she knocks on the door, no one answers so she knocks louder. Jackson's ex-girlfriend comes and answers the door in one of his t-shirts, and she tells Megan he's in the shower and they are back together. Megan can't breath, she didn't expect this to hurt so back. Megan leaves and heads back to her house packs a bag and head to a cabin an hour away. When Jackson comes home he expect to find Megan but finds his ex-girlfriend, Emily. Jackson tells his ex he's not getting back tougher with her, so she can give up. He tells his ex he's over her and moved on, he won't ever forgive her for cheating on him. Jackson tells his ex he's happy now, happier then he's ever been. Jackson walks into his home and leaves his ex out on his pouch and looks for Megan. Jackson thinks that maybe Megan is running late, then three hours later he calls his sister Abby to ask her if she knows where Megan is. Abby tells him she hasn't talked to her all day. Jackson tries to text and call Megan but she doesn't answer so he asks Abby if she can try to reach her. A high school crush comes true!
I loved how Jax had a crush on Meg back when she was a Freshman and he was a Senior, and she has felt the same way for him! His ex Erica is a real b*itchy piece of work, but she does not win in the end! His little sis was quite a matchmaker, whether she realized it or not! My only complaint is that it was so short and left me wanting a lot more!!

Well that was quick. I love me some bigger girls and I suppose Megan was sort of described as that. Jackson is her best friends older brother and she has been in love with him since high school. Apparently he kinda liked her too, but she was “too young” (4 years younger) but that doesn’t really explain why he didn’t go after her later on. No clue how much time has passed since then.
His fiancé cheated on him a month prior and now he’s all in with Megan already? Pffft. Yeah ok.

A beautiful love story
Enjoyed reading the love between Jackson and Megan. It sure took a long time for them to get together. Jackson dumped his previous girlfriend before his parents Halloween party. He caught her cheating but she didn't care. He certainly did, dumped her. Megan couldn't believe he really wanted her. Of course, the witch did her worse to try to separate them. Read how well that worked. It's a good book. Written by Cindy :)

Considering this is 30-40 pages this book was amazing
I needed something a lil smutty to read quickly, but I wasn’t expecting such a good little storyline
Would definitely recommend this to people needing a little fix

"Jackson" is the story of Megan and Jackson.
Hero needs a date for a wedding, as his ex is attending with her new boyfriend. His sister suggests her best friend who the hero has tried to fight his attraction for. Ofcourse things get sexy at the wedding, until his ex intrudes.
It was OK, quick read with plot of unrequited love.

Loved it!
I really loved this book. Yes, it’s short, but it’s well written, has a bit of hot loving, a great story line and seems longer overall. A good balanced story. I highly recommend it and will be quickly getting more of her stories to read.

Plot: Jackson doesn't really want to go to his family's Halloween party; his ex is going to be there after all. His sister has a solution though; he needs to go with a date! She has someone in mind. Megan is her longtime best friend who coincidentally has had a crush on Jackson forever. She thinks he doesn't think very much of her, but she is mistaken! He's always had a thing for her; she was just too young at one point. She isn't now though!
Character development: Megan was the character who surprised me the most. You might think she would jump right on Jackson's advances, but she didn't. She was extremely cautious and kept delaying, and I guess I can understand wondering "why now?" Being with Jackson was everything she ever wanted, and she seemed like such a nice person, so it was cool to see her get what she wanted finally.

Good short read
This was a good short read. The end ended quick, but it was pretty good. Jackson wanted a fresh start. His ex wouldn’t grasp it was over so she did what most no good women do and tried to sabotage Jackson new relationship.

For a short story it’s ok. Obviously there can not be but so many details but overall I guess it’s worth the read.
