This edition is a bit dated, especially with the current state of the world in 2018. Yet, the sentiments these educators shared for this edition still ring true. This book was the last required reading for my master's program!

Now, if we can just get the next president to read this, since Bush obviously paid it no heed.

Hate to call this Abandoned, but I've read the snippets that counted before the last election, and still refer back to some of the articles some times. Back on the shelf but not forgotten....

THe first three parts of the book are interesting, the last two parts were slow. My only wish is that the future President receives a copy of this book and actually reads it. I find the letters very true to my profession and an accurate portrayal of what is going on in education today.
