Assassin. Raven. Corbin is one of those elusive raven shifters and the best assassin in his flock. The Council of Paranormals assigned him to watch a nineteen year old witch with orders to kill if need be, but the last thing he expected was to fall for his mark. Now that he knows who she is, what she is...will he follow orders or stray from the path?
I mean I love Corbin's character and it was nice to see his pov, but not that much happened during that time he went away, except for him finding out nothing was gonna be the same (which we kinda suspected) and finally coming to terms with his feelings.

I absolutely adore Corbin. Getting see it from his side just made me love him even more. I cant wait for the next book. Until then Happy Reading Y'all 🥰😍
Interesting to read a different pov, but feels an iny tiny bit like an escape because the author couldn't fit the necessary info in the regular story line and pov..
There's been only ONE thing I wish for in these books - that the other main characters had point of views, like in the Fox trilogy. Admittedly though, by the time I finish each book, I'm so happy with it and excited to get to the next one that I forget to mention it in these reviews. So, when I saw this was actually a book from Corbin's POV, I was pretty excited!
This is actually a short little novella from his side of things when he first left her in the woods, saying he'd only be gone a few days. It starts there, then ends when he says goodbye before she goes home for the summer.
I'm so happy that this was written. It opens up Corbin in a way he wouldn't allow to be seen by Mika in her own books, so this was excellent!
Okay soooo often I feel these types of books are not necessary. This was cause it’s important to show just how important she will be. Not sure if I want there to be other blood witches out there or not. Depends on how the author chooses to use this fact. I would totally have been this a 5 star if the beginning hadn’t been confusing make me think this was set after book 3 when it’s not. It’s set at the same time as book 3 just from different POV. So please go back and change the beginning to show that this starts when he left her on the roof not the forest.
5 stars for A Wicked Raven by Emma Dean. This is book four in the University of Morgana: Academy of Enchantments and Witchcraft series. This is a novella from Cobin’s point of view. It starts when Corbin leaves Mika in the woods . We learn more about the Raven and their role in protecting the Morrigan. I enjoyed getting to see a different side of Corbin. He isn’t as emotionless as we may think. Getting this look at what it will mean if Corbin decides to be Mika’s raven makes you sympathize with him. I can not wait to see what is in store for Corbin, Mika and the rest of the group.
A Wicked Raven, book four of the University of Morgana: Academy of Enchantments and Witchcraft series, is an ebook I borrowed through Kindle Unlimited (KU). This fourth book is a novella from the Raven, Corbin's, perspective--a shift from the series' normal PoV of the main female character, Mika (pronounced Mee-ka). I enjoyed the break from the story as Corbin adds a bit of backstory to current events. The world-building has been extensive and well-thought out. It's fun watching pieces come together as the overall plot builds.
So this is a short Sidebar of what Corbin was doing behind the scenes when the FMC got kidnapped and all that happened. it's good I like it although it could have been part of the original storyline of book 3. I do like that it was separate so you kind of like know what's going on but you do have to pay for this book and it's not like a freebie thrown in. although you don't have to pay the full $5 and it's only a dollar but still that's something to consider. it's Corbin's POV going to see his brother.

I loved this shorter story of what happened when Corbin left. It allowed us to see more about him and learn how he came back to Mika. Yes, it was shorter but it was extremely well written and gave us so much information. It is definitely a fabulous addition to the story.
I just loved this short story it was refreshingly different and gave a peak into the Raven society. I loved Corbin's perspective and the struggle he felt over his loyalty and feelings, I hope there will be more about the Ravens in the series. Melissa really brought this story to life with her narration, and I can't wait for the next book.
This is about 45 pages, strictly from Corbin's pov. Read it anyway. You get a little glimpse into his world that is really nice to see. Don't skip around though. It is book 4 for a reason and you need to read Mika's wicked series in order.
Who would have thought a Raven assassin would have such a big heart? This was a fascinating glimpse into the Ravens and a peek at the exciting world the author has created. I loved it!
Ugh!! I love everything about Corbin, this look into his brain was a welcome treat. I know I was curious as to what exactly he was up too. And now I know! Next Please!
I really liked this book and being able to get a male POV. However, I feel like this book could have been combined with the third and just had it split POV. I wish we could get split POVs for the rest of the books.
I liked this little novella from his side. But it didn’t give me why his feelings changed. How does an assassin who is trained to have zero feelings fall for a teenage witch?
This book was definitely a perfect addition to our story, and I am so glad we got to see a snippet into Corbin‘s life and oh so perfect by how his flock would protect M.
Corbin IS the next Shadow Daddy in this series. I thought the series was really good already…but Corbin…Corbin is the icing on the cake. And not the whipped icing BS…the REAL full sugar, ICING.
A quick short novella, featuring Raven shifter Corbin. This tells us what he was up to when he disappeared from the University where Mika is studying. It’s a very intriguing story, and definitely reveals a few things we wondered about Corbin and the ravens.
The big bad Raven cares more change would like people to think. He is my favorite because of how much of a bad ass he is and also how secretly he is sweet to her.
