Bonds form and enemies are made in this fast pace shifter romance. Kaden Drake is the alpha of the pack that lives in Wolfin Falls, New Hampshire. He should be proud of that. Right? Nope. Being the alpha is supposed to mean being the boss. But in his case, it means that he’s protecting land that belongs to the Wolfin Empire. As long as the empress stays out of his way, Kaden is content to be a subject. When his mother is attacked by rogue wolves, Kaden discovers that the Wolfin Empire is in danger of collapsing. But an impending war is the least of his concerns. He finally found his holder, the one person that was made for him. If he isn’t careful, she may be taken from him by the very enemy that she moved to Wolfin Falls to escape.
I was born and raised in a small town in Boston, Massachusetts. My love of romance movies greatly influences my work in writing paranormal, science-fiction, dystopian and contemporary romances filled with action and adventure. In my free time I enjoy singing karaoke, watching movies, and playing with my cat Charlie.
Only joined drama club on a dare, " ...was no Halle Berry...Only got none speaking roles." I know practice makes better.
Aspiring Authors are required to show respect or at least an understanding of the people presented within their narratives. That passage was a bit tone deaf.
Being that Mrs. Berry's beauty was used as an excuse to hold her back from getting the nominations, she deserved. It took her going toppless in "Swordfish," humping a guy in "Monsters Ball." For people to see that like being blonde, beauty is just skin deep. Look past that and you will see them. The work to cultivate such talent. Takes years!
It only takes a moment for others to bring you low. Thank you! I recognize writing for an audience includes the target age. Here! I am not that target. Could be spoiled by "Twilight". I didn't finish that series, either. The movies were fun to watch. When I had nothing else to do.
Collecting lore used in novels is my current challenge! Yours was fascinating. #IAWThoughts
I'd read a few of Debbies books and wanted more and came across this series of two. The first, Wolfin Hall, I decided to give a go, even though it is a young adult novel and I am far from being a young adult.
The main message of the novel, for me, was that wolf shifters have feelings, sometimes find it hard to express those feelings, and suffer the frustrations that YAs feel and can relate to, with those feelings sometimes happening for the first time. An adult novel would see those frustrations dealt with more quickly, wouldn't they? Maybe not.
A delve into the world of YA novels for me and a further delve into the world of shifters and how they react to their Alphas. An intriguing read that leaves the older reader thinking and the YA thinking, yes, I felt like that when…
