After losing the family she loved, Miss Sophia Knightly lives a carefree and unrestricted life; her tomorrows are promised to no one. The last thing she expected was William Astor, the Duke of Wycliffe, to create the scandal of the Season by chasing after her at a ball.
William is the most compelling and sensual man Sophia has ever known, but she is not interested in resuming their kisses, guileless conversations, or his promises of forever. The duke, however, has other ideas...
William has vowed to have no other woman than Sophia Knightly and is willing to do whatever it takes to possess her. It started with a kiss, then a wicked invitation, and now there is no going back.
Soon the walls around Sophia's heart are crumbling . . . and she realizes the greatest adventure might be right in front of her!
SINS OF VISCOUNT WORSLEY
Miss Marianne Ashbrook is left with little choice but to knock on Viscount Worsley’s door and demand he supports her sister’s child. After all, he is the father. She has little patience for rakes or men who leave their seed all over England without a by-your-leave. And even when his lordship allows her to care for his child under his scandalous roof, she is wary of his wicked reputation.
Viscount Worsley knows the child is not his. He’s not shared a bed with a woman in months, and yet, something about Miss Ashbrook’s gumption makes him relent. Soon, the prim and proper miss is taking over the house! Despite his vow to reform his dissolute ways of the past, Worsley finds it torturous to resist her. A few kisses and one wicked night at his notorious gambling den entices Worsley into rethinking his position on love and family. Except Miss Ashbrook is not so easy to persuade and it will take all his seductive wiles and perhaps his heart, to court her into submission.
AN UNCONVENTIONAL AFFAIR
Maximillian Langdon, Earl Kentwood, is the author of the ton’s most salacious erotic literature: A guide to passionate romps between a lord and his lady. His name whispers on the tongues of gentlemen and ladies in shocked and admiring tones. Everyone believes he is London’s greatest lover, except Lord Kentwood is still a virgin. Now he's determined to rectify that situation before being revealed as a fraud, and London’s latest on dit!
With a reputation forever tarnished by scandal, Lady Amelie Weatherston is resigned to an unfulfilled life. She is also a member of a secret widow’s club. Her mission: to seduce London’s most delectable lover and report her findings to help her wicked widow friends keep their protectors happy! A passionate affair de Coeur starts and for a time banishes the loneliness in her heart. The earl of debauchery is not what he seems, and Amelie finds herself falling in love with a man who might never see her as more than a wicked widow not worthy of his heart.
I am an unapologetic romance lover. I read it. I write it. Enough said. Well..I also have a warrior way "Never give up on my dreams." I spend a copious amount of time drooling over Rick Grimes from Walking Dead, watching Japanese anime and playing video games with my love, Dusean.
Book One: Sophia and the Duke 3.5 stars Book Two: Sins of Viscount Worsley 3.5 to 4 stars Book Three: An Unconventional Affair 3.5 to 4 stars Book as same as For the Love of the Earl For the Love of the Earl

Sophie and the Duke William, Lord Lyons & heir to the Duke of Wycliffe loved Sophia Knightly but then disease struck the village & the Reverend Knightley & all his family perished also William’s father fell ill with a heart problem & succumbed too. William’s grief was so great that he had to get away. Now several years later he’s returned only to see Sophia at a ball. After losing the family she loved, Miss Sophia Knightly was taken in & cared for by her aunt & uncle & she’s lived a carefree and unrestricted life. The last thing she expected was William Astor, the Duke of Wycliffe, to create the scandal of the Season by chasing after her at a ball. What a lovely read which I devoured in a sitting, we’d met William in the previous book when he returned home. An engrossing, captivating read of second chances. The characters have lots of depth, not easy to do in a short book. I loved William & Sophia who had loved each other even though they were driven apart, he thinking she’d died & she thinking he’s abandoned her without saying goodbye. They needed to learn to trust & open their hearts.
Sins of Viscount Worsley Miss Marianne Ashbrook is left with little choice but to knock on Viscount Worsley’s door and demand he supports her sister Lucy’s child. After all, he is the father. She’s been sent by her vicar father to take Lizzie to an orphanage but Marianne is loath to do so. Michael St Ives, Viscount Worsley owns a gambling den but he’s not the man everyone gossips about. Marianne is the strictly brought up vicar’s daughter who is also strong & determined Lizzie won't be 'thrown away' so she's amazed when Michael takes Lizzie in & hires her to be her niece's governess. I loved both Michael & Marianne, he’s the jaded lord & she's the country miss. Their attraction is apparent from their first meeting but their stations in life are so different. There are misunderstandings & false assumptions in this well written lovely romance. I spent a lovely rainy afternoon engrossed in this book & read it in a sitting

Her friends give her a mission: to seduce London’s most delectable lover and report her findings to help her wicked widow friends keep their protectors happy! A lovely second chance novella. Max & Amelie grew up together & fell in love as they fished, swam & rode but then her parents married her to a man nearing sixty years old. Amelie’s husband died the night she was seen fleeing the house in her nightwear, the night she became scandalous but everything isn’t black & white. I loved both Max & Amelie & how their loved had endured & especially how they'd waited for each other. Their time spent at his estate was both sizzling & endearing. I also loved how he came to his senses & how he made his intentions known. Another lovely read from the author, which I read in two sittings. Three engrossing books which I read individually & so glad they’ve been brought together in a box set
The bundle ends at the 91% mark. Rest is story for another book of hers.
1. Sophia and the Duke - 4 Stars
I love when an author includes the blurb before the story, as Stacy has done. How we are introduced to this pair was a joy. I felt a connection to both of them immediately and wanted their love to bloom. Of course, tragedy strikes and deception.
We fast forward almost 7 years and the truth comes out. My emotions were so strong in what happened to them. Then at the 15% mark I went from loving the H to disliking him immensely. He doesn't want her anymore for his wife but they can try an affair and the h was in agreement. WHAT?!?!? Then the H does an about face and wants her but she is content to keep it as an affair.
This bothered me and made me dislike them both. The journey to HEA isn't smooth. I felt it was a romance story until it became more about lust. Lovemaking outside of marriage, heat level 4 out of 5.
I did enjoy the epilogue and it tidied everything up. By this time, I went back to feeling a connection to them.
No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA, little on romance for 1/2 the story and spice.
2. SINS OF VISCOUNT WORSLEY - 4 Stars
The author did throw some twists and surprises which I enjoyed. There is one part at a ball and the h sees something. I just knew where it was heading, and saying to myself HERE WE GO AGAIN! But, No I was so far off and it delighted me!
The h knows he is a first class rake and after what happened to her sister, I felt she succumbed to quickly. I did like when the first time she caved, she realized what she was doing and stopped. I just wanted her to stop for a longer period - my own personal preference.
There is descriptive lovemaking, several times, outside marriage, heat level 4.5 out of 5.
There were some editing problems but only once did I have to reread a name - mother's name vs should be the child.
We have no cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA, some romance, spice and some surprising twists.
3. AN UNCONVENTIONAL AFFAIR - 3.25 STARS
I found the H at times to be wishy washy. He doesn't stand up for what he wants until the last few pages of the story. He is an Earl and lets his mother and siblings tell him what to do. The h comes across not caring what the Ton thinks of her. Her parents have nothing to do with her and I felt so sorry for how she was treated. How awful to have lived in this time period. She was escaping a rape and she is shunned for it.
Then we have a group the h associates with who are kept women. I didn't care for that part of the story line. This really added nothing to the story.
Then you have the H who has written a tell all book that is sweeping through Society and changing the way men look at their wives. But, when you discover he has no knowledge of what he speaks, it will baffle you.
There is lovemaking, outside of marriage, heat level 5 out of 5. The Lords name is used in vain I believe once.
No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA, little on romance and steam. (ljb)
This is a great way to grab three books from this entertaining series with one simple click. This is my candid, volitional review of the three books included in this bundle.
Sophia and the Duke (Forever Yours Book 7) = 5 Stars I loved this heartaching romance. Sophia and William's story is one that will tug at your heartstrings and probably push a few of your buttons too. This is a books were I feel the focus is much more on the emotions and the characters. That is not to say that the storyline wasn't entertaining, because it was. I just felt it kind of served as more of a backdrop for William and Sophia's poignant romance. A really beautiful read about love, loss, grief, life, lies and love.
The Sins of Viscount Worsley (Forever Yours, #8) = 4 Stars I liked this book but I felt reality walked out the door and never came back. I freely admit that I am no expert in these subjects but after reading many, many books I feel I have enough general knowledge to say that many of the things that occur in this book are not only implausible but would lead to a catastrophic fallout for the characters. This greatly influenced my enjoyment of the book because it really made things feel off. If I take that out of the equation, I feel you're left with a fun if unrealistic romance.
An Unconventional Affair (Forever Yours Book 9) = 5 Stars This was a very enjoyable read. I thought that Amelie and Max were great characters. There was so much more to them than other peoples perception of them. This couple had to take the long way around to reach that HEA they deserved. Their attraction, chemistry and affection for each other was practically tangible and that made rooting for this duo a easy thing to do. There is such a beautiful sweetness about this romance and it is sure to melt your heart and have you swooning.
4 (enjoy Maureen Driscoll, Elisa Braden, Sophie Jordon, Samantha Holt)
Midsize book length; not full book.
The development and interest in main characters and secondary characters was enjoyable. I really did like the H/H for this book; very well paired as a couple.
I loved the writing around the women empowerment (it wasn’t over the top for me).
writing style is easy to follow, humorous moments, the give and take dialogue enjoyable.
the writing style has some modern wording/phrases use however that didn’t stop me from enjoying the book.
Romantic/sexual content (kissing, oral, love making scenes) was throughout the book. Nothing over the top; again nicely intertwined in the story. There are a few detailed written scenes and several just mentioning the act. 3/5 hotness and steam.
I found this a really good book. All 3 books are all really well written and easy to read. Sophia and the Duke. Sophia is a strong character. William has loved her for many years but they are separated by his scheming mother until they find each other 6 years later. Have they changed after so many years apart. The Sins of Viscount Worsley. Marriane is a really strong character. She takes care of her sister Lucy's baby when the father leaves her without a by your leave. Viscount Worsley takes care of his niece and ends up falling for Marianne. An unconventional affair. Amalie is a great character. This is another great read from Stacy with a flow and not too long.
Overall this is 3.5, but I rated up cause I was feeling generous.
Sofia & The Duke - 2 stars. I don’t particularly like second chance romances I’ve realized. I really found this so boring and yawn.
Sins of Viscount Morsley - 3 stars. Overall cute. I was a little annoyed by them as a couple overall tbh. I am definitely not in the mood for the virgin and scoundrel.
An Unconventional Affair - 4 stars. I liked that they were both virgins and that he was always ejaculating early. I also liked that it was focused on them and I didn’t have to bore myself through other characters inserting their two cents. Also enjoyed the little side story of a cuck.
The Duke of Wycliffe is told by his mother that the love of his life dies along as her whole family in a Cholera epidemic. His father dies so he leaves England for years. Next book the daughter of rural vicar goes to London to confront the Viscount about ruining her sister. Interesting! Next the Earl Kentwood inters society and meet a widow that was a childhood sweetheart but things have changed.
Sophia and the Duke... A heart felt second chance romance. I was rooting all the way for Sophia and William's happily ever after.
Sins of Viscount Worsley... An enticing romance, I loved every page, Michael and Marianne have great chemistry. Full of scandalous and passionate desire.
An Unconventional Affair... A worthy love story, sweet and steamy. Max and Amelie find a forever love, a beautiful journey to their happily ever after.
This is an excellent collection of stories. These are stories of women who have had challenges and want adventures and want to be more than “just proper” and also get their happily ever after. It is a great way to get several books that can be steamy at times by one of my go to favorite authors. Definitely a must read!
I'm not very good at writing these. I can honestly say the books that I read in this series I really really enjoyed. Be honest I did not care for some of the endings but it was minor things of my preference. Overall would have to recommend anybody who likes to read historical romance would enjoy these books!!
I read books 4,5,6 of this series earlier this year, and books 7-9 did not disappoint. I really enjoyed them and could not put them down, each story was entertaining and never repetitive. I had stepped down from this genre due to some disappointing reads and Stacy Reid brought me back with these books, I highly recommend.
I did enjoy this boxed set, all the wonderful stories. With the romantic Heroes and Heroines 🦸♀️. They very romantic and with some spice. For me, the third story was the best. I Loved the wonderful Happily Ever After.I recommend this complete series, and will read and enjoy any further books.
A story of three couples who find themselves in love and need to overcome obstacles together. Why they have to be intimate to prove their love I have no idea
I liked all the stories with strong female characters and happily ever after. The last book had som missteps like she’s drinking wine and in e next sentence it becomes sherry...
I loved all three stories in his box set. I simply just couldn't put it down. I read the entire set in 24 hours. I can't believe wait for th next stories in this series.
Loved these two love stories , I found the characters charming and romantic with some very sensual contact . The writing is charming and fun and all makes for a great read , I will definately be reading more from this author 👍🙂
This author makes each book and characters unique and you should expect a god huge rent story each time. She is a wonderful author who writes of love and romance with the right amount of steam. Read and enjoy,
Irgendwas zwischen drei und vier Sternen. Wenn die Geschichten länger wären und die Charas mehr Zeit zur Entwicklung hätten, wären es auf jeden Fall vier Sterne.
It was a wonderful bundle. I loved all the books in the bundle. They were all wonderful romances with great story lines. If you love historical romances, you'll love this bundle.
I'm sad to say that, though the stories were interesting, the pornography in them left me with little to read. How anyone can write this without feeling ashamed, I'll never know. Thhe 1st story had one short sexual scene, but the amount of e plicit sex increased in each story. The last book was intolerable! It's too bad, because I believe this author could be a great writer. I'll be praying that our Heavenly Father opens her eyes & her heart to what He would have her write from now on.
