Basically, this book provided an antedote for negative emotions. Like, when you're anxious, the solution is acknowledgement, then to let go. One way to get relief from depression includes getting exercise, because the opposite of depression is expression. These are just a few. Of course, the author further discussed that one has to make it a habit to practice the antedotes on a daily basis.
This is my second self-help book about positivity, so it worked for me. To each their own.
It's a good book to learn the basics of positive attitudes. Dr. Broder was able to define and differentiate words like attitudes, guilt, stress, etc in a non-medical way. Like in layman's term. The only thing I hoped for this book is to site more realistic examples from real people. Contexts or scenarios in the book were very wholesome and common. Other books that are similar to this area were able to share more examples that are relatable, unique, and realistic but not the way Dr. Broder explained its definitions.
