The stunning conclusion to the Irish romance series, The Murphys, follows veterinarian, Ashlyn Murphy in her fight to preserve her legacy, against the one man who threatens to destroy it all.
This is my legacy. Rolling green fields in the Irish countryside, dotted with horses, practicing veterinary medicine and riding said horses when I want to. True, I have no one to leave it all to, but still, it’s mine. And no arrogant daddy’s boy and his big bad corporation, that also happens to neighbor my property is going to convince me to sell it. Not even if he is sex in a suit. Not even if he shares my love of horses, dogs and children. Not even if he offers me enough money to build my dream rehabilitation center for horses. Well, maybe that last one. And the sex in a suit doesn’t hurt either. Damn.

This has been a great series about a wild and wonderful family. If you haven't met the Murphy's then you definitely should check them out! Each book can be read as a standalone but to best understand the family dynamics you should really start with book 1.
This finale is about the sister who doesn't 'fit' but who is trying to find her way and forge a path. Although successful professionally she doesn't feel that she has it all together. Enter a single dad and his sweet daughter who are also trying to find their way... Although the odds seem to be VERY against them I was happy to find that they all managed to find a way out of the situations they found themselves in.
The characters this author created are not perfect by any means but that probably makes them much more relatable and therefore enjoyable. Sad to see this series end but happy that it does so in such a great way!
I really enjoyed this series. It was the perfect mix of love and angst. The author did a wonderful job creating a dynamic world. The characters are realistic. Truly a great read.
