Siyu transmigrated into a manhua and became the male lead’s half-sister. The sister had a sickly fragile body, one that couldn’t even withstand a gust of wind. It’s a pity that her heart was so vicious. Over and over, she tried to kill the male and female lead. Until finally she was hated by all, deserted by everyone close, cursed by people, and died miserably alone in the rain one night.
Now the question was: how could she stay alive in peace as a sickly beautiful lady who always vomits blood for no reason and could drop dead at any time? Fortunately, Siyu soon discovered that she could see another person’s luck. So, as long as other people around her had better luck than hers, she could rely on their blessings to extend her life.
As for her….. Siyu looked into the mirror. No matter how she looked at it, the person in the mirror looked like she would die early. It’s not an exaggeration. If you’re talking about bad luck, then everyone else was trash. The wave was stable; no matter how crazy she played, she wouldn’t die! (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
Until she came across a great god who was feared by everybody—
Siyu: “Don’t, don’t come near me QAQ”.
Fifth Master Lu smiled gently whilst the beads on his hand were shattered into pieces, “ Run away once more, and I’ll break your leg.”
This is a transmigration novel and it's BG which I haven't read for a while now.😅
This story is about Siyu. She's an illustrator who was transported to the manhua she created. She became the sickly sister of the main lead of the story. Supposedly, her character is the great villainess that will try her best to split the book's MC and ML.
Siyu's character was written as a person with a sickly body that frequently cough up blood. It's quite an interesting premise. 😆
Siyu met the overbearing fifth master Lu and was unfortunately branded as his without her knowing or consent. The earlier part of their romance didn't sit well with me. This fifth master Lu has a low EQ and just tends to bulldoze his way to Siyu's life. He did learn a bit (just a bit) on the latter part.
The plot has many funny and interesting parts. I enjoyed reading them especially the fan's comments and reactions. But when I finished this novel, there are a few loose ends and plot holes that weren't addressed. One fantastical thing happened but it was never dicussed or explained at all until the end.
I like Siyu's brother here. He is such a cute and funny character.😁
This novel was meh. I was forced to read until the end and I kinda dislike it. The romance was very little and it kinda left you wondering where is the love because the interaction between ml and fl were so little and the plot is all over the place. The story were also rushed, it didn’t have closure in certain areas.
The only reason that forces me to finish this novel is the fl’s brother. The fl’s little brother reminded me of a small cute abandoned dog through out the novel. Plus, I hate his parents, both of them don’t deserve him, his only family is the fl.
It is weird I like the second ml? I don’t like the way most authors and dramas deal with second male leads as if guarding against them when those poor sods actually don’t even know what’s going on… I know their role is to propel the relationship between the ml and fl but it doesn’t mean that they should be treated like clowns. Like here, The second ml actually hasn’t done anything, he has only done everything right and doesn’t even know anything about ml, he doesn’t deserve to be treated like this. Plus the second ml behaviour really make me swoon cause the ml behaviour more like it had to do with his control issues. It wasn’t that romantic just seemed convenient if anything.
If I could throw away the garbage ML and just concentrate on the fluff between FL and her brother, this would have been a wonderful novel. All the dog blood, and the numerous times the toxic ML made me want to just drop this, could be endured because of how cute and funny the interactions between the siblings were. It is no exaggeration that the sole motivation to continue that you can find in this book is Ji Lin(the cute brother).
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
The writing is entertaining and funny, the brother is adorable. But the main relationship is just too toxic, there's a strong element of coercion and the female lead is in physical pain in his proximity since her illness flares up around people of bad fortune. The ML seems like a mafia boss instead of a CEO.
