Keeja was ruling for too damn long. Damn, they were slow figuring her out. It wasn’t rocket science. That woman showed her true colors from day one. She made it known she was angry and hated the new system, so why was everybody so shocked when she turned out to be exactly who she had been showing them she was? I could understand if Keeja had been pretending to be down with everybody. Hell naw. Keeja ain’t fool nobody. They were all just a lil slow.

Brick literally found Casha’s hair after it fell out of Keeja’s pocket when she flew away. Like hello?! The clues were right there. After that, the story started dragging for me because I was waiting for everybody else to catch up.

Then it felt like too many storylines started happening at once. Risha and the cancer, whatever was going on with her and O, Jake, Mekah and his family issues, Neoth, Tundra, Urane’s ghost, and probably some other shit I’m forgetting. Risha dying and coming back as a fairy or whatever tf they did to her had me like, where exactly are we going with this? And please, I did not want to see Urane’s name anymore

There were also things that just weren’t connecting for me. Nobody was wondering where Casha’s baby was? Nobody was gonna put two and two together and question whether Kelan was Casha’s baby?

Then the whole situation with Keeja wanting Brick felt like such a weak conflict between Brick and Eagle. Eagle and Keeja’s relationship wasn’t something we actually got to experience. We were told they had a relationship, but there weren’t really events showing me that relationship. Even Keeja wanting Brick seemed to come more from Nabila’s thoughts than something Brick should’ve actually known. So the conflict surrounding that just wasn’t hitting for me. Maybe I skipped over some shit, but some of it simply wasn’t making sense.

By 91%, I was flipping through pages fast trying to get to the end. There was just too much going on while the one thing that seemed obvious from the beginning took forever for everybody to figure out. The storyline eventually started feeling like it was falling apart.

Still a great job by the author, but this was my least favorite of all her paranormal books I’ve read so far. Usually I demolish her series, but with this one, it took me much longer. I wanted it to end but not enough was happened for me to get there.

I’m reading Deep next, so hopefully that one gets me back to how I felt reading the Jasora and Beast series.

Brick and Family

Brick and Nabila are back, as well as their family and friends.

Brick is pulled back yo his planet because his father isn't fulfilling his duties as king.

Nabila is a new mom, new fairy, and still not sur3 what Brick has chosen her.

In this segment, Brick and Nabila are still trying to find a balance in their lives. Brick having to go help his dad doesn't make it better.

Nabila and Risha's friendship is also struggling. Risha is going through something and blaming everyone around her. She makes a decision that puts everybody at risk.

Neoth opens himself up to be manipulated, and this cause she's people to lose faith in him.

They all have to address the issues that are causing them to make sound decisions and stop the unknown threat working against them.

Great Sequel

I really enjoyed book two of this series. The only thing I would have liked would have been for Nabila to have been able to use and explore her abilities more than just at the end. The book mentioned several times she didn’t really understand her strengths but then never really let her explore those strengths until damn near the end of the book. Eagle was a bit disappointing I understand what he went through but for his character to go out like that was pretty sad. I’m glad Bricks father was able to heal and get it together as well. There’s so many other characters that were mentioned and developed in this book but overall it was truly entertaining. Now on to the next one!

Surprisingly, really good

I REALLY ENJOYED this book! The first one was good, but I didn't really know where the next one was gonna go, but it has so much action and just kept me on the end of my chair. I just wanted to know what happened next.
A few spoilers so stop reading if you haven't read it yet.
Casha and Keeja got what they deserved!
Jake was an asshole and Odega did what he was supposed to do!
Eagle is a pussy....period! Needs to man up!
Sumi and Meka make me smile! Would love to see another book about them.
I love Neoth and Tundra! So glad they finally found love!
Im soooo happy Fae was reborn! I really was pissed when i thought Risha died!
Of course, Brick and Nabila are my absolute favorite!!!!

Torn About This one

Of course, I enjoyed the book. Ms. Natavia is an excellent writer. However, a lot of things didn’t work for me with this book. First, starting with Risha and her acting out. That part of the plot didn’t make sense to me because she knew that Brick and Nabila were healers and she didn’t go to them at first sign. That’s a whole lot of stupidity. She would rather drink and mistreat her friends than to ask for help. Then the whole lion shifter thing. As a shifter Mekah should have been able to heal himself. Nevertheless, the whole storyline involving the lion shifters just seemed forced and misplaced. However, even with those things, it was a good book.

I was waiting for this story to be available for a while and finally, it's here. I enjoyed the story but i felt like it was rushed.... I know that it could have developed more.... Especially with risha... Tundra and the father, eagle..... Casha.... more between sumi and the other, if course the crazy couple..... Even the war on vada so much info was missing from the lions etc

Another 300 words and we would have had soooo much more. With all of that being said, Thank you for this awesone story anyways. I haven't finished yet so hopefully there is a part three

Brick 2: An Urban Paranormal Novel

I had to re-read the original Brick novel to remember the storyline. And yes it was worth it. This paranormal story written by author Natavia has created good fairies & gargoyles living on a planet called Lacas. That held my interest. Once Brick aka Midas felled to earth (landing on Nabila's car) I had no idea they would form a strong alliance bringing all planets together for 🌎 peace in Brick 2.

Such an amazing read

First off let me say I’m so happy Risha got her stuff together although she had to go thru what she went thru to get there. Brick was my favorite person in the whole story lol. Neoth was the bomb too once he overcame his moments. I really hope there will be more of them. This was such a great read I’m definitely recommending to everyone I know. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story!!

Evil women, Love is Stronger!

I did enjoy this one as while. I’m upset with Eagle. We already know his Son is going to want to be King! This is crazy. Eagle has to get over himself! I don’t know what to say! The battle over Sumi is just beginning! The king having more children is going to create a divide as well! Read and see just how everything pans out before the next installment comes out!

This was a great conclusion to this story. Nabila and Brick are back on Earth after the shared life experience. Going between his home planet and home with his family. Secrets and loyalty are tested and more characters come into play. The fact that this story had Gargoyles faes and Lions was exciting. The plot twist was unexpected but that ending was superb and the pacing kept me fully engaged. This will be perfect for anyone looking for paranormal romance.

Loved It

This author has opened my mind to paranormal romance. I would always skip past it but I’m definitely glad I stopped here. This series was nothing short of amazing. I definitely recommend this book. The drama and the betrayal was off the charts but the love surpassed it all. I would love a story about Fae and Odega.

I want to go to Lacas

I’m so glad Neoth and Tundra connected. Eagle needs to stop feeling sorry for himself. Rishon got her wish and learned to love and appreciate what was right in front of her. Nabila and Brock loved go stronger. Everybody’s going to be pregnant at the same time. Will Sumi get her own story ?!

DNF'd at 45%.

Book 1 of the Brick series was so engaging. This second book is all over the place. I don't know how anyone can keep up with the story. With the introduction of so many characters across multiple storylines, the focus was no longer on the main characters Midas aka Brick and Nabila. It just turned me off.

The first book was okay, but the second one was horrible. Editing mistakes, fast and slow pace of the story confused me a lot of the time on where this was heading, it was drawn out in the worse way and on. I’ve come to the conclusion, that I don’t like the way this author writes. Will not be reading anymore work by her. #trash #sorrynotsorry

Brick

This was an amazing book and the drama was beyond crazy. I knew it was something up wit Keeja but the way she brainwashed Eagle is wrong. Like how he couldn't see she was crazy. I glad Risha got a 2nd chance at life

Wonderful wrap up

This was an excellent wrap up to this series. I’m so happy Risha was given a new chance at living!! Nabila grew up, Brick and Neoth matured as husbands and fathers, and all the characters ended where they should be. Fascinating world creation happened here!!!
