The Kid, a gunslinger sworn to Odin, the god of death and sorcery, and his partner, Ten Shoes Dancing, the Oxford educated Lakota shaman, are drawn into a feud between two paleontologists.
Decidedly pulpier in feel than its predecessor, largely due to the change of art. The storytelling takes a step back from doom and gloom to tell a tale more purely of adventure and shady deals with shadier gods. And of digging up dinosaur bones, variously for fun, profit, science or unspeakable pagan rites. Great stuff.
