We are talking about a psycho here. If that doesn't interest you than I don't know what I am talking about. *Amazing artstyle *hunks (as in plural)☺️ *Ongoing *14 chapters up-to-date *Wishing upon my ten fingers and toes to make me rate it a 5 🌟 when it's completed
Siento que tenía muchísimo potencial que no supo aprovechar :( tipo la revelación y el final me parecieron de las cosas más chotas que leí en mi vida xd
I bought the official Korean books very recently to immerse myself in learning Korean, and it's my second time reading the story (which is actually written by Queensa; the art is by 뿅). I really enjoyed it, as it treats the subjects with sensitivity compared to other webtoons out there that depict same-sex relationships. The story is also original, in my opinion, in the way it unravels. This is definitely a binge-reading kind of webtoon too, because of the suspense. A delight.
As far as I know, there is no official English translation of this webtoon, so please support the author.
4,5* at first i thought it was gonna go the killing stalking direction but then it took a completely different turn and was I really surprised. Another manhwa that had me sobbing and very emotionaly invested.
Wow this was quite the roller coaster! I read this on *cough*illegalsite*cough* and a lot of the comments talked about how unsatisfying the ending was. In my personal opinion, I actually really liked the open-ended finale. I will be honest though, although this Webtoon is technically tagged as a BL/romance and I shelved it as such, I didn’t read this with the mindset that this is going to be a romance.
I already expected some dark topics bc that general is the nature of any sort of Webtoon involving killers, and those dark topics that possibly may hurt MC, so I went into reading this a lot like how I went into reading Killing Stalking—read it for the psychological thriller and don’t get emotionally attached to any of the characters. (This Webtoon is 100% NOT as disturbing or depressing as killing stalking though, I promise)
I’m glad I went into this with that mindset, otherwise I’d be like everyone else in the comments and crying over the Webtoon and over how abrupt the ending was LOL. For a romance, it’s definitely very unsatisfying, very much like La La Land’s ending actually (I wonder if LLL was an inspo for this Webtoon?) but for a murder mystery thriller, the ending is a nice way to finalize the story. A realistic ending of how not everything in reality is perfect, and that sacrifices will have to be made for justice and the truth.
People tagged TW like Stockholm syndrome and possessiveness, and they aren’t wrong but tbh compared to the other Yandere-style webtoons I’ve read that had these warning, this one is EXTREMELY tame (also this is not even a Yandere/possessive ML Webtoon lol I was lied to). Almost to the point I can’t even count this as a Stockholm syndrome bc MC actually had quite a lot of freedom for a “captive” person (he literally had more freedom than he did under police protection LMAO?? The irony of that is kinda funny) and he never really fell in love. Tbh I’m actually still convinced that even by the end of the novel that he didn’t return ML’s feelings.
The murder mystery is pretty averagely written imo, I personally had figured out the second/true killer by chapter 18 already and then even after they were revealed like 40 chapters later, I figured out the entire backstory by then too before the reveal of the backstory hahahah. But I think most people took until chapter 30-40 to figure everything out though because there were a LOT of red herrings on who the true culprit was and I was just so suspicious of any hints that the Webtoon gave bc i expected a form of a plot twist (as usually thrillers always have one), that I ended up betting on the least suspicious one and I just happened to be right 😭
Tbh speaking of red herrings, biggest disappointment was with how the psychotic acts of kinda just suddenly…stopped? And was never touched on again? Like we even got an entire side and back story for this mf then he’s like back to. Normal. And MC doesn’t even acknowledge any of the behaviour at any point in the Webtoon??? It was kind of jarring tbh. I feel like they put all this effort in writing this character to try to trick readers into believing that he was the real killer, and when the real killer was revealed, they just dropped everything and was like “welp no need for this guy anymore” LMAO. Kinda sloppy on the writing part.
Anyways overall? Pretty enjoyable Webtoon, a 4/5 if you read this as a thriller, only a 2/5 or 3/5 if you read this for romance. Averages out to 3 stars so that’s my final rating.
