I am a freelance writer residing in the Western Cape. During my pregnancy, I learned there was a strong possibility that my daughter could be born with Down's syndrome. Becoming a mother re-ignited me with new-found inspiration to pursue my dream of becoming an author. Using my experiences, I hope to touch the hearts of parents who often go through so many trials and tribulations in solitude silence.

Nicely developed characters and storyline

Saving Hannah is a story from many different perspectives, but mainly Nina and Hayden, a married couple who are expecting a baby. The characters are well-developed and realistic and I loved how the Bible verses at the head of some chapters played into the story.

Saving Hannah is a powerful portrayal of a woman at a crossroads, torn between guilt, love, faith, and fear. What makes this book stand out is how Fisher skillfully balances both Nina’s and Hayden’s perspectives without villainizing either of them. The narrative takes its time revealing the secrets that shape their decisions, and as it does, the emotional stakes grow. The pacing is steady, the themes are complex, and the story doesn't offer cheap resolutions. It’s deeply reflective, especially for readers interested in the intersection of personal struggle and spiritual growth. A sincere and thought-provoking read.

This story drew me in from the very beginning and kept me captivated throughout. A gripping tale of an unborn child who helped adults confront their personal struggles with self-reflection, unconditional love, forgiveness, and transformation. Congratulations to the author for crafting such a powerful narrative that truly engages the reader.
