This book is divided into 3 parts, which reminded me of a triptych. Unfortunately the different parts are quite uneven and failed to capture my attention. It felt as quite an arduous climb (only completed for the sake of a book club meeting). Each part is shorter and and reads easier, but the problem is finishing the previous to even dare to bother with the next. Interestingly enough the first part dealt more with aspects of Judaism which felt as quite a nuisance and noncredit references that could have helped. The second part revolved more about Christianity, which for me felt as if rooted more in the fantasy themes with miracles etc. Perhaps because it touched less on personal notes, it flowed more easily. As for the third - kudos if you have reached it...
This is more of a philosophy book masked as a fantasy, be warned, unless you decide that it is better not to know the future.
