“No gift would ever compare to having him.” —Juniper
Juniper Baker knows what loving someone who doesn’t reciprocate that same love feels like. At seventeen-years-old, she was able to bounce back by finding solace in the people who loved her most. Ten years later, Juniper finds herself at a crossroads when the charming Brandon Morris reenters the picture, evoking emotions she’s buried to the forefront. As the two reconnect, their past and present collide, leaving Juniper emotionally spent and ready to throw in the towel. But Brandon has other plans for her.
*Please note, this is book three of a five part interconnected series. Though each book is a standalone, some parts of the storyline are ongoing.
Cute angst free second chance romance! Nothing happened that blew me way. Just a sweet down home southern vibe! I loved the way Brandon advocated for Juniper’s mental health and I loved it even more when she advocated for her own!
This book is Worthy of all my coins!!! Juniper: A Worthy Love by Asia Monique is about music therapist Juniper Baker and BLM CyberSecurity specialist Brandon Morris. Juniper and Brandon have history, they were best friends in high school and Juniper was in love with him. It’s been 12.5 years and it’s their time. When the book starts they’re together but Juniper is going through something emotionally. The love, support and communication Juniper and Brandon have is beautiful. The fact that they spent so much time apart but Brandon can still read her. Brandon is all in and he’s proving it with each meaningful gift he delivers to Juniper. Oh man is he speaking Juniper’s love language! The work that Brandon and Juniper put in their relationship is admirable, they were so worthy of each other’s love. Asia has a knack for dropping breadcrumbs and introducing new characters. And of course I loved seeing Lilac and Ezra again, Ezra holds a special place in my heart. This is was a great read, I can’t wait for what’s next for the Baker sisters. P.s. that prologue 🥵
“I was going on a date with my heart in human form tonight.” ♥️😊
Over again Asia Monique has another story that just has me smiling ear to ear. Juniper is a beautiful story of people celebrating you, loving you and knowing when you need help. Love that she’s a therapist and wants to open her own music therapy. Music is a lot of people’s love language to healing themselves. Every book i love this group of sisters more and how they stick with each other. Now for me Brandon was the breakout star. It was always them for one another. The way he saw her and gave her permission to be in control and be there for however she needed. But also realizing that something wasn’t right with her. We love an attentive man. Those letters were so cute and a good idea. I love when people write letters it’s so much more meaningful. Another great love story.
Brandon and Juniper gave me all the feels! 2 high school sweethearts that give their romance a second chance. Her childhood trauma makes her a nervous mess and he loves her through it all. This book was so mushy and I loved every page of it!!
I'm missing the way love makes you feel. The way you lose your self looking into your loves eyes. The way love makes you feel so magical in every moment. The type of love even in a bad moment makes you realize that you two will overcome this setback and love one another even more when things are talked out. O how I love this series of books.
Asia Monique you did an awesome job!!! I loved Juniper and Brandon’s relationship and their journey. I cried almost the entire book; I mean boohoo crying!!! Brandon was so romantic and intimate. I loved it; I can’t wait for the next Flower Sister book.
I'm so happy that Brandon and Juniper finally got together after all these years and loving on each other to the fullest. Brandon was just what Juniper needed to help her through her dark days and keep a smile on her face. I like how Lennox, Ezra, and Brandon bonded together and helped the sisters on their mom's passing anniversary. I can't stand Lily's mom and I feel as though Aunt Lori is going to tag her head. I hope we get a book or novella about Devin and Lily getting together. I'm glad that Samir and Brynlee, Lennox and Magnolia, and Ezra and Lilac are still very happy. I can't wait to read about Ayden and Daisy and Semaj and Zena.
Juniper, a music therapist, had so much trauma of her own to heal. Her high school best friend (who she was in love with) moved away, leaving her to spend 13 years heartbroken. He moves back to town and of course they spin the block. I wouldn’t say their love story was my favorite out of the sisters. She was a little draining. But once they finally took off, everything happened so fast. I loved the happy ending. Maybe this one was 3.5 ish.
This was such a cute romance! Pure fluff! liked the take on the second chance romance and I loved the chemistry between the two main characters! I did need some angst or tension because it felt like the characters didn't overcome any obstacle to be together. I'm not used to that and there was no real "tension". However I LOVED the discussions around grief, therapy, love and forgiveness. Definitely one of the healthiest romances I have ever read.
This is such a good series. Every time I think I have a favorite couple, the next story is released, and I have to re-evaluate my choice. This story is more emotional, but well written with sister love, romance, humor, and the underlying secret that’s has yet to be revealed. Can’t wait to read the next sister. Grab your favorite beverage and enjoy an amazing love story.
Juniper and Brandon's love story is wonderful. It was difficult to read what Juniper was going through. I love that Brandon was right there for her through the whole thing. I'm dying to find out what Aunt Lori's story is 🤔. I absolutely love these Flower sisters with every book I fall more in love.
Asia Monique always gonna give me a plot I never read before. I loved seeing Juni B battle her depression with the loved ones around how and how Asia expressed it. As someone who’s never been through any of that now Ik to help myself would be having the people you love around you will suppress it. This may actually be a 5 star series fr.
Another wonderful love story. I enjoyed reading every minute of this book. I’m so looking forward for Daisy an Blossom’s story to come out. This book shows what true love is all about an I love love love that it doesn’t contains a lot of drama. Keep up the great work.
Series: 4.5⭐️ Spice: 3-4🌶️ Format: Audio I enjoyed the series. I’ll always be here for Black women being loved on loudly. ✨Close Knit Family (5 Sisters) ✨Black Love ✨Low Drama ✨Guaranteed HEAs
One thing that kind of irks me is: None of the girls on the cover look like their description of chocolate skin/dark skin. I wish they did. I hope it’s not of the perceptions that the current cover would sell better
I felt bad for Juni and all she was going through. Brandon just spoke perfectly to her love language.
I think the time apart will let them appreciate there time now even more
Once again I love all the sister/friends dynamics . Even the boys are getting closer with each other and building strong bonds
Juniper and Brandon's story, while good, read a bit slow at first.
I was a bit confused why Juniper, whom is a therapist, wouldn't seek help once she became down and felt out of control. I'm glad she was able to still do everyday things and have support in her sisters and childhood friend and lover, Brandon. Their story was one of incomplete, completion. He never told her he was in Love or loved her and decided that since they were so young when she confessed her true feelings for him, that it was best of they didn't see where things could go and go about their lives how they planned them. She was heart broken and even though they decided to remain friends, she pushed him away to protect her heart. 13 years went by with them barely seeing each other before they officially reconnected and the rest is history. I liked these two together. She was just as much a support for him as he was for her. They had a unique bond and I'm glad they found their way back to each other.
Brandon being into computers and hacking was super sexy to me. A man who uses his brain to decode the intricate sides of the internet is one many can't do. He was far from a nerd, yet was super intelligent and loved Juniper; his Juni B. I would've loved to see how far they would be in their relationship if he'd just told her how he truly felt when they were younger. I love that he wrote her those letters to fill her in on all the years they spent apart. He was lonely and empty and I'm glad he was honest with her. I like that he, Lennox and Ezra have sort of become brothers and can bond based on the sisters they each are dating. That Ezra is a mess and I love it. I think it was so sweet of the men to want each other Flower sisters, even the ones who don't officially have a man yet, to be happy and calm at all times. Definitely a good bunch of men.
I'm really interested in knowing what happened to Lori, their aunt. I don't like that Lily's mom almost ruined their mothers memorial, yet I'm sure it's all going to come out soon.
Another good story for the Flower Sisters. On to book 4.
Juniper: A Worthy Love by Asia Monique is a deeply moving and elegantly penned second-chance romance that beautifully explores the intricacies of love, growth, and the enduring bond between friends turned lovers. The story follows Juniper, the third sister in the Flowers sisters series, as she navigates the complexities of rekindling love with Brandon, her childhood sweetheart. Their journey is a poignant testament to the power of love enduring through life’s changes, including college, career paths, and the challenges of balancing friendship and romantic love.
The novel is particularly notable for its exploration of love languages. Juniper’s love language is receiving gifts, a theme that is exquisitely woven into the narrative through Brandon’s heartfelt letters. These letters are not just romantic gestures; they are windows into Brandon’s soul, revealing his growth and the depth of his love for Juniper. They poignantly demonstrate how love can evolve and mature, offering a fresh perspective on how two people can grow both apart and together.
Asia Monique’s writing style is beautiful, capturing the nuances of human emotions and the subtleties of evolving relationships. The character development is exceptional, with both Juniper and Brandon presented as fully fleshed-out individuals with their own dreams, fears, and complexities.
Oh, I love all the flower sisters, but Juniper's story was special! Juniper and Brandon fell in love in high school, but never told the other how they felt. Going separate ways after graduation, affected them in different ways; but the love remained although apart. Upon reconnecting several years later, Brandon knew he would have a big job convincing Juniper to be his. The letters! 💘. They were some of the most heartfelt words I've ever read. The time, effort, care and concern he displayed for her was beautiful! He helped her acknowledge her depression, and loved her through it. Juniper learned about his feelings of loneliness through the letters. She showed him he would never be alone again. Their journey was amazing! Now, if we can just find out what happened to Aunt Lori! I have a feeling it will be explosive! Loved this! Great job Miss Asia! Looking forward to the next one! 👍👍👍
Juni B and Brandon are so very sweet and loving. The care that they take with each other, the way they can read each other. The way they see each other. It caught my heart and wouldn't let go. Using letter writing and understanding the impact of words is a layer of depth I wasn't expecting but wholly enjoyed. It was a wonderful and fulfilling journey through love, and how it perseveres. Dipping into grief and how it can turn things on it's head but ultimately make love stronger was a great theme for Juniper and Brandon AND for Juniper and her sisters.
I love how passionate they were, how focused Brandon was on tackling the issues Juniper was having and not running away. I also love how he confronted the things that were holding him back as well. There's nothing sexier than a self-aware man.
The passion between them was just the icing on the cake. Their hotness just gave the book the added push that it needed. Beautiful.
***Spoiler*** I listened to Flower Sisters Book #3 "Juniper" by Asia Monique, Narrated by Mari and Winston James via Audiobook. I've previously read #1 and #2.
I'm glad Juniper Baker and Brandon Morris reconnected and finally gave love a chance. At this stage in Juniper's life, she needed Brandon's love because she was falling apart for several reasons: not being happy where she was in her career and her Mom's 14th death anniversary coming up.
I love Brandon's gift to Juniper well he gave her alot of things but the best gift to me was the 13 love letters he wrote to Juniper for the years they have know each other. It is so special to get a glimpse into a man's heart especially when he is inviting you in. This made Juniper know without a doubt Brandon has always loved her and that is all she needed.
I enjoyed getting an update on Magnolia, Lennox, Lilac, Ezra and all the other Flower Sisters.

Juniper and Brandon were so sweet to read about it. These two were Best friends first then became lovers. Juniper struggled a lot throughout this book. It made me sad that she suffered for so long before she told her sisters or Brandon. Juniper was a fixer but she couldn’t fix herself. I was glad when she finally reached out and got the help that she needed. My gosh, how dreamy was Brandon in this book. He was too good to be true most of the time, lol. But one things for sure, Brandon loved him some Juniper. Every time he gave Juniper anything, it was always thoughtful and heartfelt. There was something sweet and innocent about this love story, it was like no matter what happened, Brandon knew just what to do to fix it. I loved reading about these two, it truly was a love story. ❤️
Juniper and Brandon have know each other since high school, but as time goes by they lose touch, but the feeling where still there. Seeing each other again after years apart, they started what they should have started a long time ago. Seeing each other for four months, they finally decided to become a couple. Juniper was having a tough time and didn't know what to do, Brandon helped as much as he could, but she was just struggling. Getting the helped that she needed, Juniper started to feel better. Brandon and Juniper was such a great couple and loved them together. Brandon shared with Juniper what he was doing doing their time apart and this was such a great way to see what she missed and how he felt. I was not expecting the ending, but was so happy for it. I loved this book as much as the other two and I can't wait to see what is next for the other sisters!!!
Whew, I thought Lilac was having a hard time with their past and absent father but Juniper was worse. Her love, Brandon stood beside her and suggested help for her. He also made sure to be attentive to her mood swings and helped accordingly. I am happy about the flower sisters and their blooming romances. Juniper already married but if you have been in love with the same person since he was fourteen then why not marry. I am looking forward to Magnolia and Lilac weddings. I also ready to see how the next three sisters' stories pan out.
Great read, download and enjoy. You should start at the beginning of the flower sisters with Magnolia story. You will not be disappointed and will get hooked quickly.
This story wasn't my favorite, however I appreciated the hard topic the author touched on. Brandon and Juniper's story didn't really snatched me like the previous ones...but their love was beautiful. The bond the sisters have is one of my favorite parts of the series. And those educated black men are everything. I'm a bit over Lori's storyline. The suspense is gggrrrrrr. I fell like the author won't tell us till Lily's story. But I shall wait. There a few punctuation, grammar and spelling errors that were a bit frustrating but overall its cute. I understood what the author was trying to convey. Asia Monique is a great story teller.. On to book 4
Okay this series is getting better and better by the sister. First I 💘loved catching up with the sisters and how the stories are all connected. This was the most romantic book I have read in a long time...Bran was in a league of his own an book bae is not even close to the words for how thoughtful he was...I loved the realness of Juniper and how her struggle made him love her harder. Omg...I don't like Lily mom and I hope she gets told off in the next book. I can't wait to read about the next sister in this series.
The story of Juniper Baker & Brandon didn't entertain me as the other sisters' stories before hers had. It's probably because I knew that Juniper is not an actual flower; it's more of a tree or a bud that grows on a bush. I felt that the character's name should've been Rose or Iris or Tulip, possibly Calla, or Amaryllis, or Carnation! There are plenty of flowers that this character could've been named after instead a a prickly bush or something off of a tree. But, I digress as I feel my point has been made.
Finally - one of the sisters went to therapy...now if only she can get the rest of them there. I love the male leads in this series. The female leads are cool but I don't always connect with them. Hoping I get a good connection in the next one. Just like the first book, I wish we could have witnessed a meet cute or in this case, a reconnection. We just jump right into a situationship and while I know they are novellas, give me SOMETHING. I fall in love with characters as they fall in love with one another and I don't feel like the opportunity was there in this one.
