I finished it today and wow! Simply amazing. R. R. Matthews has become my fourth favorite fantasy author after George R. R. Martin, Brandon Sanderson, and Pierce Brown. Diplomat of Uram brings several original elements to the fantasy genre that are a breath of fresh air.

An original story. Highly surprising and with a few interesting elements that make this my book of choice for fantasy this month. The only negative point is that it adds a lot of made-up words and terms to the story and I can allow Tolkien to get away with it but not modern authors. The reader shouldn't have to remember all those geographical locations so I give it four stars. Nevertheless I guess it is acceptable for a book about a diplomat-warrior to visit new locations with new names. I am a bit conflicted about that part, but still, just four stars.

enjoyable story with cool moments. definitely worth reading and i hope the next one comes soon. something i didn't like was the violence in some parts but the story compensates for it.

The dialogues are the best thing of the book. The story is thrilling and tangles you word by word, and I hope the next books come out soon because I can't wait to read the next. More!!

I was doubting if to give this book four or five stars. Some elements should have been treated in more depth but on the other hand it's some original addition to the fantasy genre and the relations between the characters flow really well, so I guess it deserves five after all. I really enjoyed reading it although the cover art is a bit simplistic for my taste. I would have preferred an image of the characters.

Book is being hawked around the internet using fake awards and fake lists.

Reading the sample it's also really really badly written.
