A: Venture Capitalist focuses on a group of thirty-somethings who work in a venture capital firm in San Francisco who are not only work together, but they are friends dealing with the ups and downs of crazy jobs and love lives.
Q: What kind of series is this?
A: It’s definitely romantic suspense. There is an overall story arc about espionage but every book can stand alone and has a guaranteed HEA.
Q: Are there any steamy scenes in this series?
A: Without a doubt. Due to adult language and sexual situations, these books are intended for mature audiences.

Great Stories But Books 5-8 Are Mostly Not Needed
Let me just say that while they say 'stand-alone' they really aren't. Because you'll miss somethings that later won't make sense. Book 7: Christopher and Isabella - she's working on her PhD, teaching at a university, and has started a company. He is a partner at SHN in the biotechnologies dept. Great match. That is until she has problems with the minor co-founder who the investors are siding with. This book is mainly about Christopher. Book 8: William and Quinn - Quinn dated Mason while in business school. She has a second job and her name is Cinnamon. William is a playboy and comes from a rich family, he also has a stepmonster with two sons named dumb and stupid (his words not mine). There's a lot going on but not with SHN. Book 9: Mason and Cece - FINALLY - not a great start for Mason. Cece has issues of her own with corporate espionage. This book once you get through most of it becomes so action filled you can't put it down. I don't want to give anything away but I didn't like the way it ended regarding Annabelle.

Great romance, few flaws
I read the entire series, I really enjoyed the series except all the socializing seemed the same. However, each character was different which is why I stuck with it. The main theme or mystery maintained throughout the series. A main flaw for me was in Quinn and William's story in which William's childhood housekeeper called him "Master William", that was totally unnecessary and not done in any other story.Please remind all that sensitivity should be adhered. No repeat needed from a century ago!!

It took a lot to get to happy ending but was it!
I read all nine books but didn't realize that covered over five years of lives on the main characters. But the suspense and development love was stories was worth the time

Coming Home
Read, read, read this is wonderful reading and I loved the coming together feel good . I could not put this whole series down until the end or beginning the next adventure into these lives

Great end to a series filled with surprises
It was hard putting each book down in this series. I would put it down and then pick it back up to see what happened next. I enjoyed the friendships that developed old and new,

Good Series
I enjoyed this series as I followed each character’s life and love. Some stories were a little slow, but overall, the series was good and well worth the read. I like the author as well. Free on Kindle Unlimited was an added bonus!

This series has me awe struck and unable to put down. I love the characters and the stories surrounding them. Ainsley does a good job in developing the characters and storyline making them likable and authentic.
