How can we be fated mates? We drive each other crazy.

Kidnapped by aliens? Yeah, I don’t think so.

These Kalixian warriors may have rescued me from depraved Orkun warlords who abducted me, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to obey their every command. I was a CEO back on Earth, and I don’t take orders from any man.

Not even from Malav. Especially not from Malav.

Never mind that he’s the most gorgeous man I’ve ever seen—even with his horns and color-changing eyes.

Never mind that his prowess in the gladiator ring makes my heart beat faster and my body ache.

I refuse to let myself fall for an alien. And even though I can’t deny the chemistry that sparks between us, I can’t afford to get attached to anyone on this planet.

Because I’ve got a secret.

I’m going to steal a ship. And I’m going to go home.

Stolen is a full-length standalone sci-fi romance featuring hot alien gladiators with huge… horns, a tough-as-nails heroine, and a possessive alpha hero who meets his match in his fated mate.

If you like sexy aliens, sweeping adventure, and steamy romance, you’ll love this series. No cheating, no cliffhanger, and a happily ever after guaranteed!

Note: each book in the series can be read as a standalone, but for maximum enjoyment, it’s recommended that the series be read in order.

Fated Mates of the Kalixian Warriors series:
Book 1: Claimed (Rose & Tordax)
Book 2: Stolen (Harper & Malav)
Book 3: Rescued (Autumn & Sorsir)
Book 4: Bound

I love reading romance, baking (well... eating) cookies, and binge-watching sci fi shows with my husband. I'm a sucker for a dirty talking alpha with a heart of gold, and I write stories about fierce aliens and the strong Earth women they fall in love with.

Sentient spaceship!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💚🖤💙💜❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📔
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎🌍
Character development: 🙃🥹☺️🤭

The heroine: Harper - a former CEO of a large company, she was sold to awful aliens called Orkans and stolen from Earth. After being freed by the Kalixian warriors, they are on their way to the Kalixian home planet when they have trouble with their ship and crash on a planet known as the Den of Thieves. All she wants is to get back to Earth to right the wrongs of the past and getting revenge on those who were responsible for her abduction.

The Hero(es): Malav - a Kalixian warrior, he is second in command to Captain Tordax. Malav has a secret from his captain and crew, something that could end his career as a warrior for his planet, which is all he ever wanted to be.

The Story: Harper is intelligent, headstrong and used to being in charge of her own life. She wants to get back to Earth and get her life back on track and get revenge on those who are responsible for selling women to a hostile alien race as brides. Though the Kalixian warriors have agreed to get the women back to Earth at some point after they go to their home planet for some R&R, since they have been fighting a war in space for years.

Harper doesn’t want to wait to get back to Earth and now that they have crashed their ship, the Kalixians have to participate in gladiator style fighting to earn enough money to buy a ship to get them home. Harper worries that she will never get back home especially since most of the other women came from bad circumstances on Earth and have decided to stay with the Kalixians.

Harper has butted heads with Malav on numerous occasions, though he finds himself always looking for her while he is in the arena fighting. When she discovers part of his secret they start to become more friendly. So when he sees her sneak aboard a spaceship while the owners are away, he follows her. They end up in some sticky situations from there and in getting through those, find they are fated mates.

I liked the story in this one. The two of them had to fight against numerous obstacles including a glitchy AI and their own secrets. The romance between them is good because it isn’t insta and they discover they are mates as they get to know each other more. Harper is a lot more likable than I expected based on her behavior in the previous book, where she wasn’t exactly open and friendly.

The book was told in dual POV by two narrators, with each narrating the entire chapters done in their POV. I like the fact that there were male and female narrators, but like audiobooks much better when the man reads all the male parts and the female reads all the female parts, no matter whose POV the chapter is told in. Though Meg Price and C.J. Grey both did great jobs.

And here I thought that she was going to be harder to conquer. It's not like I'm asking for non con, just for more of a fight. Although I'll give it to Presley Hall, Malav is more forceful and bickers with her right back but it hard to get into it when they are always talking about consent. Albeit, it was a lot better than the last book, maybe it'll only get better from here. Is it too much to ask for a love/hate relationship with alpha/omega that isn't sweet after the first 5 minutes?

It only got good at around 70%

First, the good. The author is a good writer. Easy to read, good sentence structure, and no glaring errors or things that would irritate me (misspellings, misused words, misplaced modifiers, hyphens, etc). The bad: From the beginning to about 70%, the h was a too-stupid-to-live Karen. She was supposed to be some brilliant CEO, so I hoped for a smart, thoughtful h. Nope. The h was rude, thoughtless, and made the most asinine decisions. A toddler has more common sense than the h. The H on the other hand, was wonderful. Loved everything about his character. At around 60%, the h almost dies, and I was like, "Yes! Kill her!" I forced myself to read on, and I'm sort of glad I did? Maybe not. It's hard to get over the first 70% of the book. But the remaining 30% was enjoyable and made sense. I am not sure if I recommend or not. But it was a KU for me, so if you can get it on KU, then read it, otherwise not worth paying money.

This is what i needed to get my mind off of my life on earth rn. This book picked up right where the first left off. And I loved it. I liked this one much better in the sense that the story is already laid out for you. Since they’re so short, the author does a good enough job and filling in enough of the blanks without it being a 400 page novel.

Harper. I really was not a fan of her at all. She was rude and mean the entire time (I could be biased but I know I am not a fan of strong FMCs in my fantasy books lol). She eventually softened up towards Malav which I really liked. And the use of AI was unique in this too. The story was fast paced and I only found myself skimming the recap towards the beginning of their story.

It was also so cute that they made it back to Kalix and Malav salvaged the AI molly since the robot was basically Harper’s only friend that had me grinning and blushing. The spice was good and plentiful and the action and drama was good. There was a slight amount of angst and enemies to lovers in this one which I appreciated. Overall it was a decent read and worth it for stuff your kindle day. It’s also on KU. This series is easy simple reads that hit all the alien romance marks 🩵🩵

I like this book better than I liked book 1 in this series.
I like the way they disliked each and didn’t care they felt a tug to each other. It made them get to know each other better.
The story does have a few twist and turns. The ending has one of the biggest. Can’t wait to see what book 3 holds!

Among the abducted women, Harper is the only one determined to return to Earth. As a hard-working CEO, she’s prepared to go to great lengths to get back. Seizing her chance, she steals a ship from the black market, unaware that Malav, a Kalixian warrior, is tracking her. Since their first encounter, Harper and Malav have clashed, and their time alone in space might force them to confront a truth they both feel and dread: the fated mate bond.

“When someone betrays you, you don’t just roll over and take it. You go back, and you fight.”-Harper

I honestly thought I’d dislike Harper, but I ended up liking this tough woman. She was feisty and irritable, yet capable of being kind when she chose. Fiercely independent, her reasons for wanting to return to Earth were understandable, though it made me question if it was truly worth it. I appreciated that she resisted the bond, but I wish it had lasted longer. You’ll either like or dislike her, there’s no middle ground.

She’s bossy and domineering, careless of our rules and our customs, insisting on her right to do as she wishes at all times, and it irritates the krax out of me.-Malav

Regarding Malav, the second in command, he was an alright male lead. He exhibited a stoic and stubborn demeanor, and only Harper could genuinely provoke him. She resented being directed, while Malav was often commanding and serious.

Malav treats all the other women with the same respect that Tordax demands, but with an apathy that grates on my nerves and perversely makes me want to get a rise out of him.-Harper

The forced proximity was nice but I wish they had resisted against the pull of the bond a little bit longer. I think it would've been nice if they'd learn to like each other before they succumbed to the bond.

He wants me. Me. Harper, a woman who a month ago was just another in a sea of businesswomen trying to hang on to their place at the top. A woman who couldn’t get a second date because she was “too bossy,” or “too busy,” or “not family-oriented enough,” or “too focused,” or “too intimidating.”-Harper

Overall, I liked the start of the story but the second half was meh. I didn't care for the issues that arose in the spaceship, the glitches, the AI, etc. It was far-fetched and not really interesting. But, the ending was satisfying enough.

This one had a good twist, steal a spaceship and try to get home. I haven't read one like this before and the AI angle was good. I liked how it was glitchy and kept changing character. Our girl did not think things through, I would have thought the CEO of a multi-million company would have thought about having enough fuel to get back to Earth? Or some of those practical things. "shrugs"

They had to work together and that seems to break down a lot of walls in a hurry in a relationship, so it is a good proving ground.

Once again, I find myself skimming the last 10% to get to the exciting transition to the next book- which did not disappoint. Looking forward to the next story, for the next big hunky guy to fall super hard :)

Oh yeah this was fun times. I wasn't sold on book one to be honest but decided to give book two in this series a go. I'm glad I did. I liked how Malav and Harper started out with no sparks and no
insta-love. They begrudgingly respected each other. However being stuck on a ship with a crazed AI tends to pull people together.
One aspect about these alien romances that I love is that there rarely is a third act break up. No one needs that.

I enjoyed the book. I’ve read the first one as well. There weren’t much of any editing errors and the book read well. I can’t wait to read the other book’s in the series! I’m especially looking forward to the kings book.
I really liked the hero’s personality. The heroine was a little annoying in the beginning but she found herself in the end and I ended up liking her character.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Harper and Malav's story is excellent. I loved finding out what drives Harper and what her and Malav build their relationship on. They are both very driven characters who have reasons to never give up. Not to mention they're both stubborn and find themselves in each other. This one doesn't go where you think it will. The bad guy isn't the normal everyday villain. He/she is unique!

Slow burn, action packed and addictive

This story builds and is easily addictive. I really love this series and I was looking forward to Harper and Malav are both independent and solitary characters, neither are soft and fuzzy friendly people. There is a build up in their relationship and you wonder if they'll even survive at all. Really cool story.

A human, an alien and a stolen AI driven space ship! Sounds like an easy way to escape doesn’t it? Wrong! The AI seems to be having a personality meltdown, one moment friendly and helpful, the next angry and trying to kill the two passengers. And just when they think they have the AI figured out, the AI just keeps changing. Time is running out. Is this where the adventure will end? Be prepared for a lot of action and romance.

4 & 1\2terrific 🌟's for Malav and Harper💖

This is the second book in the Kalixian Warriors series and it was an excellent addition. Harper is head strong, intelligent fierce and driven. She was a CEO of her own company one day and sold into alien slavery the next. From the minute she wakes to find out she been sold to be a bride of the Orkun her only purpose is to get back to Earth, find out who sold her and make sure it never happens to anyone else. After crashing on Waru a lawless planet she tries to come to grips with what's happen to her but only wants too go home. One male male makes her crazy, anger and makes her heart flutter like no one ever has and that the second in command Malav a fierce Kalixian warrior. He fights in the pitts along side his warrior brothers to earn enough money to buy a ship to get them back home. When an old injury raises its ugly head only Harper can help him. And surprisingly she does her heart start to open to him And it scares her so she runs and steals a ship Malav reaches her just in time. Their whole adventure takes place on a ship with a crazy AI that has them living in complete danger . With their lives being threatened and living in very tight quarters they actually begin to really talk to one another. They realize they have more in common than they ever realized. Wants and desires change goals become focused and not only do they must for one another but they truly feel a sole deep love. Wait until you meet Molly she a fun side character and the tease at the end of the book will having you waiting at the edge of your seat for the next book. Absolutely recommend!💖💖💖

Hot, steamy, LOL, action packed PNR - highly recommend story and series

This PNR contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy intimate scenes and violence, such as fighting sometimes to the death, kidnapping, stealing, etc.

If any of these subjects are not interesting to you, then please do not purchase and then rate it lower than it deserves.

This is the 2nd story in the series, and while it could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend it be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers.

The story centers around Harper, a former CEO that was sold to the Orkan, and Malav, the 2nd in command of the Kalixian warriors. The story begins after their unplanned arrival on an alien planet, on their way to Kalax.

Harper is determined to return to earth no water what she has to do. While doing some recon on the planet’s black market, she comes across the opportunity to abscond with a ship equipped with AI. So she sneaks onto the ship, activates the AI and instructs it to take off for earth.

Unbeknownst to her, Malav spotted her outside the building where they rented their “pods” until they could earn enough money to purchase a ship to return them to Kalax. He wanted to keep her safe since she didn’t have an escort to keep trouble at bay. So he follows her and sees her sneak onto the ship. He runs and barely makes it before the door closes and the ship takes off ...

I am going to stop here so I don’t accidentally provide any spoilers.

My favorite so far!!!!

This is my favorite so far and I can't say enough good things about it. The romance is hot and you will cheer for our brave headstrong girl. At first I wasn't sure I would like Harper but boy did I change my mind. She is so tough that she steals a space ship to get back to earth and Malav follows her and ends up saving her life multiple times. We find out that she has a good reason for wanting to return. Besides the obvious one and it made me see her in a different light. Malav is an incredible warrior and has had a medical condition that he hides from everyone but he shares it with Harper because he needed her help. I'm not giving away everything but all that I have told you happens in the first few chapters. They realize that the bond has happened between the two of them and they grow to love each other quickly. The story is action packed and it holds your attention from the very beginning. The romance is sweet and sexy and you will see what I mean. I'm giving this my strongest recommendation and assure you that you will enjoy this as much as I did. Thank you Ms. Hall for another great story. You have a true talent and you give us SFR fans great, strong women that are intelligent, smart and brave and book boyfriends that were just fall in love with right along with our ladies. Loved this.

I confess, I like Harper and this book way more than I thought I was going to. Harper’s attitude in the previous book was kind of setting her up to be the pain in the ass type of h that usually ruin a books for me. However, I was pleasantly surprised that that didn’t happen. Sure she was annoying at times, but the slow burn of the love story between her and Malav was so sweet, I’m putty right now.

I’ve read quite a few alien romance books now, and it does always amaze when human women, who didn’t have a clue about aliens just a few days prior, think they can steal a ship and pilot it home. Such is the case here.

I found the pacing of the book to be good, and the ending most satisfying. I’m hoping that, like other book series, we get updates on previous couples. For some reason, I have a lot of affection for Malav, and hope he gets lots of babies with his mate.

Will they be able to protect each other and reclaim control of the ship?

Series Overview: This is a cracky kind of SFR where the heroes are all horned, loincloth-wearing and ribbed for her pleasure. The insta-love doesn't bypass the issue of consent and the couples usually have lots and lots o'sex on the road to an HEA. The stories hit many of the familiar tropes and there's a comfort in that. My issues are that Ms. Hall tends to over-explain - why describe a scene with one paragraph when you can use three? That type of thing. It worked in some books for me, but overall, I just think it could have benefitted from some judicious editing. The resolution to their romantic conflict almost always comes very early (heh) in the story. And the sex was fine but this isn't a series that necessarily works as a binge because the samey-ness to the stories really stands out. It's the tropes - depending on which ones are your faves, that's what determines if it works for you IMO.

Individual Books (I would choose your own adventure and read as you like, don't think it's crucial to read in order)

Stolen: enemies to lovers, the device to isolate them for their romance made me side-eye it. Just ok. 2 stars

Harper was a CEO on Earth before her kidnapping by Orkuns, and whilst the Kalaxian warriors have rescued them, that doesn't mean that she can trust them nor that she is prepared to take orders from any of them. Therefore, she is determined to steal a spaceship and go back to Earth so she can punish those who conspired to get rid of her. As for Matlav, yes he is utterly gorgeous with his horns and his colour-changing eyes, but there is no way they are fated mates even if his prowess in the gladiator ring makes her heart beat faster! And so she has a secret - she is going to steal a ship and get herself home and no one is going to stop her.

I enjoyed this story with the feisty Harper who manages to show some compassion for Matlav which is the complete opposite of her hard-nose go get them persona that she has when she is in determined CEO mode. Matlav was great as he was also not interested in finding a mate until he realised that he actually did have one. I was thrilled that they eventually had a HEA and that they were able to try and help their friends too. Easy to read and understand, it contains explicit sexual content.

I liked book 1 quite a bit and thought I might not like this one because Harper, the main character here, was very standoffish in book 1 and we weren't given much reason why. In this book, Harper, who was the least likely to have been kidnapped by the Orkun, is given more range and background.

Harper wants to get back to Earth to get revenge on the person who got her kidnapped and the politicians who set up the system with Orkun where they can kidnap some number of Earth women who are the least likely to be missed. She steals a ship and tries to make it there. Just before this she began to help and care a bit for Malav who has a poison which is slowly killing him.

It's a standard enemies to lovers plot ostensibly - Malav follows Harper onto the ship and they go through discovering they are Irisa, fated mates, and many issues with the ship itself before working together to save each other.

I ended up liking the characters and the action they went through to save themselves was engaging. I'm ready to read on to the next book which happens to have a different Earth woman than any of the women who were kidnapped by Orkuns ...

Exciting with an enticing twist

Malav and Harper’s story of falling in love with each other is more of a love/hate relationship that slowly builds into a love like none other. It is not
the normal “love at first site” situation, especially with Harpers stubbornness and independence.

Malav is second-in-command to Tordax of the Khalaxian Alien Force and has been the most loyal soldier to the Khalaxian army. He’s strict and does not like defiant actions from others, whether they’re Khalaxian or Terran and he has met his match in Harper.

Harper was the CEO of a marketing firm before being captured by the Okrun’s. Even after the Khalaxian army saves the Terran women, Harper still has revenge on her mind. After succumbing to various obstacles after stealing an AI ship (with Malav), their love fore one another slowly builds, working together to return to Kalix.

I liked this one. Still, like the first, there were parts that lost my attention and I'd go scroll social media out of boredom, but for the most part it kept my attention. I was hoping the next book would be about the prince, but apparently not, if I go by the epilogue.

As for this book, I like the couple but their relationship is never forged with something deeper than "I was screwed out of my job" and "I was poisoned" that's it. That's all they talk about that's truly personal. I like insta-love, but only when written well. I want insta-love that grows depth and connection. I want them to stay up all night, unable to go to sleep because they just want to talk. So while I did like this book and the couple, it lost a star for not giving more time to them connecting deeper than the superficial and the mating bond.

Was worried I wouldn't like this one as much as the first, but I really did! This is a fast burn like the first book, but there's a little more of a struggle against the bond because they're both extremely stubborn. It was really cute watching them go from being annoyed with each other to depending on each other as they got themselves out of scary situations. I appreciate that this FMC was headstrong and determined, but was later able to admit her mistakes and try to help how she could. The FMC was great too, also headstrong but protective. His illness seemed to come and go (I know it had to do with his adrenaline, but there were times how adrenaline was up but he didn't need a shot). Other than that, this was a nice quick read with some adventure, a sweet romance, and an HEA. Definitely what I needed after reading a lot of emotionally heavy books lately.

Alright this second book of the series was so damn good. I loved everything and I love how Harper was strong and stubborn about every single things. She is so fierce that I couldn't help myself buy love her. The fact that she took the ship on her own was mindblowing. She's so different and I enjoyed every second of it. Malav on the other hand is this fierce, strong and dominant protagonist and fighter that will try to protect anyone and his character is definitely one of the best. The mature scenes were so powerful and hot. Everything about this book was good. I'm completely in love with this series and those wonderful and very interesting protagonists. It was also a really great adventure to read and I also recommend this book. You will love this couple !!!! They are amazing! 🥰
