There is hope

Clear and sensible advise for the pre-retiree and new retiree on how to develop a financial plan for their retirement that covers the basics of ensuring that their money lasts at least as long as they do. The goal of the book is not to have a plan in hand when you’ve finished reading, but rather to understand the basics and issues well enough to work intelligently with a retirement planning professional (with suggestions on how to select one). Good read!

If you are getting ready to retire or just retired, this is a must read book. The authors give some good advice on how to approach your financial situation and planning, what you should be on the lookout for and you can pull points to prepare yourself for your meeting with your financial advisor.
