I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had a very hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!

Mackenzie is faced with a guilt inducing situation: her sister was taken by a vampire and killed after Mackenzie spurned his advances.

A misguided effort to avenge that death puts Mackenzie very close to dying herself, and brings her mate to her just in time to save her life.

Mackenzie and her mum both face new and different lives ahead, mourning their shared loss, but moving on. What new battles they face remains to be seen.

A sweet contemporary shifter romance. Gabe and Mackenzie's story is fast paced, easy to read and didn't take long to finish. A wonderful tale of fated mates who find each other unexpectedly. I enjoyed reading this book!

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
