This is a science fiction read. I am not a fan of this genre. Looks like a good book if your in to this type of read.

‘A solemn promise - mankind will forever protect all species’

Highly awarded Arizona author Cary Allen Stone also happens to be an airline pilot (he began flying in 1972 at age 19!), having been hired by his first professional airline in 1982 Stone achieved a Bachelor of Arts in 1976 and has worked in television (he had a non-speaking character role in an AAA Club advertisement), film and voice-over radio commercials and since 1990 has been writing thrillers and true crime novels. His books include a True Crime study of filicide (the killing of a child be the parent) THROUGH A MOTHER'S EYES, a cybercrime thriller STEALING ATLANTA, and his Jake Roberts crime thriller series - AFTER THE EVIL, MIND OVER MURDER, AFTER THE GOODE and AFTER THE KILL. Two major influences on his writing occurred in 1992 - using the impact of Aviation on his writing, he flew for British film director Sir Ridley Scott (Blade Runner, Alien, American Gangster, etc). It gave him an opportunity to discuss his writing with Sir Scott who remains a major influence for him. He is a member of the Phoenix Writer's Club, the Arizona Authors Association and The Desert Sleuths. Toss that multifaceted salad together and the reader will understand why Cary’s novels are so accurate and credible as well as engrossing.

His current series SEEDS (Strategic Extra-Earth Development Site), of which this is volume 2, is science fiction, and the story takes off where Volume 1 ended. : ‘The SEEDS Shuttle returns to Titan from the Russian spaceship Red Star 1. Those on board try desperate measures to keep Captain Boris Vladovok alive. Anxious Titians are uncertain whether the virus will kill them, or China Mars Base 1 who destroyed the Russian Mars Base New Star City. They survived a nuclear holocaust on Earth. Will they survive the deadly virus on Titan?’ The viral theme sounds familiar to us now, but read where Cary takes this notion!

Caring about the total involvement of his readers in this series, Cary has commented: ‘'SEEDS takes what we know today and adds what we think is coming tomorrow regarding technology, science, and colonization. The questions I wanted to answer are: If we listen to the warnings that humanity must leave the Earth in one hundred years in order to survive, what would a ship look like today or the next few years? What kind of propulsion is available? What would it feel like to travel for an extended time to reach a moon in our own galaxy? Do we really want to go to Mars? What about deep space? What would a colony be like in a new world? Can I successfully mix currently available science with science fiction?’ The answer to his final quest is an adamant YES!

Book 2 excels, reinforcing Cary Allen Stone’s stature as a significant author. SEEDS is a trilogy, so we can expect further adventures!. Highly recommended.
