Burn for You by Teagan Kade a five-star read that will burn you up in the best way. This was a short but spicy read, Ryder and Ruby bring all the heat, who knew you could pack so much in so few pages, this was amazing and just what I needed a little pick me up to take me away from all the drama in the world at the moment. Something I didn’t have to worry about having time to read as its only a short one, it was perfect.

Fast, steamy-sweet insta-love romance short. Enjoyable bit of fluffy escapism, but nothing really to stand out. Three stars - I liked it.
Ryder (H) is a firefighter reporting to a call. The woman he rescues at the house fire is Ruby (h), who wakes in the hospital unable to remember much of anything. Ryder feels drawn to her more and more, determining to stay by her side until she's back on her feet. Ruby feels similarly drawn to Ryder, turning to him for support. But as they try and solve the mystery of who Ruby is, it seems there's additional mystery when her house fire turns out to have been arson.
Enough of a plot to engage you, but it's not developed too in-depth. Which works too, because it's only a short story, so too much plot would either come across as rushed or underdeveloped. Here, the vagueness keeps the story at a level to hold your attention, but not to stir up too many questions and loose ends. Kinda an action movie level plot - nice and fast paced. Good short read.
Alternating 1st person POV. No cheating, no OW/OM drama, no love triangles. A little mystery, a little suspense, a lotta insta-love. Some sweet moments from Ryder. Quick and fluffy afternoon read. HEA with epilogue and no cliffhangers.
Would I read more by this author? She's turning out to be hit or miss for me. While not favorites, I've enjoyed her suspense short stories (coincidentally, both involving amnesia cases and the first responders who rescue them). I have not enjoyed her college-set sports romances nearly as much. One I outright dragged myself through. Maybe when she wrote them and her experience with plotting and characters? At any rate, I'm more willing to give her non-sports romances a shot in the future but would have to look a lot harder at the sports ones.

Ryder Knows Better Than To Get Attached, But When He Rescues His Jane Doe From The Flames He Knows Rules Are Meant To Be Broken, Too!
Ryder knows the rule: never get attached to a vic. It should be easy for him. After all, he isn't a relationship kind of guy. But the moment he comes across his Jane Doe, he knows he can't leave her side.
When Ruby comes to in the hospital and sees the handsome firefighter by her side, his presence calms her and she holds tight to that, because it is the only thing she knows. Her memory has failed her.
Ryder and Ruby's story is a super quick lunchtime or bedtime easy read. It packs mystery, danger, romance, and steam altogether with a very sweet HEA. I rate this book four stars .

A nice read by Teagan. This story is about Ryder and Ruby. Ryder is gorgeous hunk and a firefighter who knows how he affects women. On call at an out of control fire, he’s searching for the woman who lives there. He finally finds the unconscious woman and carries her to safety. Ryder demands to go with her to the hospital. Ruby wakes up at the hospital with no memory of who she is or what happened. She feels the attraction between them but that’s all. Ryder brings Ruby home to his house when the hospital was going to kick her out. There are a few emotional stories and terns. A good read. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book from the author

Suffering from amnesia, Ruby she doesn't remember anything much, but as her memory returns, she realises Ryder could be more than just a good memory to keep.
Short with insta-lust, I enjoyed this read and look forward to more of this type of book from Teagan Kade.

A short quick read that had me smiling from ear to ear, starring Ryder, a firefighter who saves Ruby from a fire and can’t leave her side for one second. Not during the ride or when she wakes up at the hospital, only leaving to change and coming right back. She has amnesia and nowhere to go but Ryder has the answer and once he gets her to his home, he’s never letting go.
Loved this read with some steam, insta love and a bit of suspense that was fast paced and didn’t skip a beat.

This is a quick, fun read. Teagan Kade grabbed my attention at the beginning and kept till the end. Instant love isn't usually my thing but I enjoyed Burn for You. I knew there was something up with Ruby when some clues started coming out. I was wondering what Ruby was running from. For such a short story Teagan Kade gave me everything I need a little suspense, action and steam. Ryder is intense, sweet and protective. Ruby was sweet and a little mysterious. I enjoyed Burn for You. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader's copy.

What a short and quick read but amazing none the less. With what is going on in the world right now it was really nice to have a reason to smile and to take my mind off these trying times. This book did that for me. Ryder is a firefighter and he saves Ruby from a fire. She wakes up with no memory. The up side is she has a super hot connection with the man that saved her life! This book really hit the spot and to me it is a must read. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Ryan and Ruby. Ryan is firefighter and rescues Ruby from a fire. Ryan feels very protective of her and goes to the hospital to be with her. Ryan stays by Ruby's bedside until she wakes up, but she has no memory. Ruby is attracted to Ryan and feels safe with him. When she is released from the hospital, Ryan wants her to come to his house, hoping she will be there forever. I really loved this book. I loved Ryan, he was so protective of Ruby, he had an instant love for her and knew she was the one for him. great story.

It's love at first sight when firefighter Ryder rescues Ruby from a burning house. He can't bear to leave her side even while she lies unconscious in the hospital. When Ruby wakes up, she recognizes right away what a special guy Ryder is. There's a real connection between these likable characters. I loved the story. It's sweet, it's sexy, and romantic. A very enjoyable read.

Fast-paced steamy read. Ryder is a firefighter and when he saves Ruby from a fire he feels attracted to the unconscious woman. When Ruby does wake, she has no memories but attracted to Ryder, who went to be with her at the hospital. Ryder takes Ruby home to take care of her and the chemistry is hot but is there someone who wants to hurt Ryder? Fast-paced read with loads of drama and suspense. I liked it.

Being a firefighter is a demanding job, dangerous as well. Ryder rescues a mysterious lady in a fire and is so taken with her he is smitten. He can't seem to let her out of his sight for long, he seems to have a need to be the one for her. When she wakes up and seems to have lost her memory, he really feels like he needs to protect her.

Wonderful and original contemporary firefighter romance. The blurb gives a good preview of what the books about. Ryder isn't known for relationships. When he rushed in to save a woman his life changes. Ruby was rescued from the fire but has amnesia. The story has steamy scenes to make the book hot. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Kade.

This book was short and to the point! I liked that I could read it in less than a day. A nice change of pace from some long drawn out book.
Firefighter, Ryder saves Ruby from a burning home. She can't remember who she is until a few days later after she is released from the hospital and goes to stay with Ryder. I didn't see the stalker coming in was a nice change of pace for a book. He is caught and sent to jail. It's nice to see Ruby after all she been through get her HEA.

Good and simple story
It's a very short, good and simple romance with a little intrigue.
Ryder saves Ruby from the house fire, but she is completely amnesic. He cannot leave her alone and an attraction and a trust develops quickly between them. But Ruby's past begins to catch up with her despite herself.

This was a quickie, but had a lot packed in. Danger, love, suspense. A firefighter saves a woman’s life and just can’t leave her. When she wakes up and can’t remember anything, he helps her feel safe. Strong feelings surface between the two, and they start on a new life together. But there’s still someone from her previous life lurking...was a very good quick read!

Short, sizzling and over too fast...and yet the author managed to pack a lot into this story. She's in danger, why because an accident cost Ruby her memories. Slowly coming back except for the immediate past things are happening. She's feeling attraction for her saviour, is he in danger too now? Love the epilogues.

Ryder had no idea that he would fall for the amnesiac woman he rescued from her burning home. Ruby has no recollection of anything & can’t figure out why the hot firefighter who rescued her hasn’t left her bedside. She becomes attached to him, unaware of the danger she’s putting him in. This was a good insta-love read where Ryder has left Ruby no choice but to accept he’s not leaving her side.

Ruby and Ryder's story is quick and hot. Insta love between the hero and heroine, but the ending has a twist and a good punch I wasn't expecting! Cute ending. This is a great bedtime read or a quick pick me up and take me away for an hour read. Loved it.

Ryan is a firefighter who rescues Ruby, and there is an instant connection between them, only problem being is that she is suffering from amnesia. This is a well written short and steamy novella which had me hooked throughout. I recommend for all.

This is a fast read but it doesn't take away from the story. This is a insta kinda love with plenty of drama and suspense. Ryder is so intense and protective of Ruby and they have a connection from the beginning. This is a book you should read.
