While not my favorite sci-fi book, it was clever and had some unique Hong Kong elements to it. The writing and storyline were pretty mediocre, but I'm sure one could easily write a paper or two about the contents of the book. Tam was creative and succeeded in bringing many challenging elements into his story in a smooth and thought-provoking way. I especially enjoyed his exploration of a future, digital HK.
