Naina, is a girl next door, a pretty relatable protagonist of the story where she "swipes right" the profile of Ranveer and as fate would have it, they "matched". Everything is going fine, they are chatting, they decide a day to go out on a date and have dinner. But then, is everything as beautiful and normal as it seems? Of course not, because there's a deep and dark secret of Ranveer, which no one would want to believe because he is supposed to be a good guy right?
I kind of found the story predictable but my heart really didn't want to believe that Ranveer had a disturbing secret (that's a trait of "charming" guys right?)
This short story is fast paced, thrilling and never fails to keep you on your toes. This story is the example of dreamy date gone awry. The language used is straightforward and the book is a good light read to excite your heart, once in a while.

I'm craving short stories/flash fiction. No Idea why..but the fact that this was a romance thriller i jumped right in.

So basically we follow Naina who recently broke up with her boyfriend and obviously is depressed about it. Seeing this, her friend forced her to join this dating app mategram and made her profile.
And oh so soon, they got a match! Ranveer a well known chef and a typical boyfriend material, things went super smooth and then super fussy.

Well I think the story was good and fast paced. The rate at which everything was progressing, I almost predicted how's it gonna end. But the thing is we never got to know why everything was like that. And I was not at all satisfied with the ending. I didn't even get the romance aspect , it was clearly vague. That's why I wasn't even attached to the characters and absolutely not interested in the romance.
But if you are new to reading some domestic thrillers, or even new to reading it's absolutely worth it. The writing style is super easy.
And you can obviously finish it in one sitting, so why not?
But I'll not suggest to someone who's a bit extra analytical and specific when it comes to thrillers.

It was a quick fast-paced read, driven forward by a tension between characters, I found it exciting I can't predict some plots.
A heartbroken girl goes to find new love? the perfect guy had a dark past?
It’s a romantic thriller, Neha our protagonist who is recently heartbroken started to use a dating app ( megagram) and yes she finds her perfect match there. They started dating but things which I can't understand is that how can she trust someone that much to go to his house? And even she did why is she roaming in his house as she owns it?
But nevertheless, the plot is nice.

Furthermore, this short novel incorporated many themes like murder, mental health, betrayal, kidnapping, trust issues.
The character needs to develop a little more because I can predict the ending part, also there are 3 plot holes in this story.
So in conclusion, swipe left was a thriller that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fast-paced read.

There she found a chef Ranveer and with in a day she fixed a date with him everything was going perfectly, but when somethings happened for which Naina wasn't ready .
Just 17 pages but it was enough to raise your adrenaline level high. When I start reading it, it looks very simple like break up and dating site and all and then I read blood yes it is about blood and a murder in between a Date. So it is interesting to read what happened on her date , is she able to know what is wrong with Rambler. Overall an amazing read with engaging characters.

Book on swipe game. Swipe left or swipe right just by looking at some information of the opposite gender or the same too. Dating anyone is easy nowadays. This short book is a story of a heartbroken girl who just after two weeks of a breakup she was on Metagram a dating app. Where she finds a " PERFECT" guy. Cute and short story. I found it 100% relatable.

I have seen many bookstagrammers read @lighthouse_foodie work and wondered how can he fit in a story in such a tiny book but he did a nice job in this one. I came across this book and gave it a try..it's a romantic thriller.
Our protagonist, Naina has just broke up with her bf and her friend introduced her to a dating app, Mategram. She got one match there and goes on a date with him.
The match she got is Ranveer, he is a chef by profession and he takes her out to a restaurant obviously. Then they head out to his house for tasting his dishes but there in the house Naina discovers a dripping sound..from there the story picks up a speed and thriller part too.
She discovers her date's actual identity and has police and her ex bf next to her by the end.
I hope you can understand that the author has done a pretty nice job. I hope I can see some good stories even in the future.
It is perfect for the beginners as its just a 17page story. It's pretty easy and simple.

Wow. Although the book is too short, just 17 pages but I loved it so much.
I have read the authors previous books too and like those I loved this one too.
After breaking up from 2 years old relationship with Karan, Naina just created an account on a dating app and within few hours she just found a match.
She was so happy as she found Ranveer so charming.
But the question is, is it right to date someone just without knowing properly, is it okay to date someone after chatting just for few hours.
So, the story turns out something else when she got to know the real character of Ranveer.
I just loved it how the author created such an interesting story within just few pages.
The story is so interesting and the narration is just amazing.
The character of Naina is really strong.
In loved it how the author used simple yet lucid language in the story.
But honestly, I wished that the story could have been a little bit more long.
The title is totally appropriate with the content.
The cover is really beautiful.
Over all, a must read!

Dating apps are on high demand these days. Especially in between those who are looking for life partners. Naina, an ordinary girl, has left her job due to her terrible boss, just broke up with Karan after having a relationship for two years. Its been two weeks, but she has not been able to come out of it. Riya her best friend, force her to download the Mategram, the hottest dating app of the season.

Though she is not confident about her self, she starts using it. While looking for matches, Riya finds Ranveer. He is 23 years old, a handsome, good looking chef currently undergoing a culinary arts program. Keeping her fingers crossed, Naina swipes right. What happened next shocked me in a way where I want more from the story.

In the beginning, I thought, it will be a romantic book where two people meet, and then there will be some past and finally the end up together. But it was not at all like that. This story gave me chills as the ending was unexpected. This story also highlights about dating apps. It's unpredictable, we don't know who the person is in real until we meet them. The same happened with Naina, she didn't know nor did she understand anything about Ranveer, until she went to his home.

Overall I liked the story, it was gripping, but I felt the story was too short. I wish there was more suspense, more action, and a little more information about all the characters. I hope in future the author turns this short story into a novel so that it becomes more engaging and the suspense becomes longer. I recommend this book to all those who love to read short stories, its a short read but a thrilling story. 😊❤️

Content - Naina, a simple girl, after having a recent breakup from a 2 year long relationship, is having a hard time forgetting her past love. Her friend, Riya is determined to cheer her up and forcefully set up a date through a popular dating app, Mategram. Naina reluctantly joined there but found a perfect guy for him, Ranveer who is a chef. They went on a date. Everything was going smoothly and after that something happened.
.
Read the story to know the rest.
📖
📖
My Views - The book is a very short romantic thriller. It is not only an interesting read but also shows us how today we are so much dependent on technologies that we even fixed dating on dating apps without even verifying the background or anything and thats where the problems began. This story also starts on the same note. The writing is very fast paced but the mystery part got revealed too soon. It's got that nail biting factor in it but it gets over real soon and the climax came. I would have very much liked to read the book a little longer. The language is easy.
.
Overall a short yet enjoyable read.

A screen is the problem solver of most of the things in today's time. To find a teacher, doctor, a date or anything for that matter. People just need something new in their life to spend some time with. Even a dating app can give that happiness and takes away all your tensions. Similar thing has happened with the protagonist of the story "Swipe Left." It is an extremely short read with 17 pages pages by Himanshu.
.
The story starts with a girl Naina who is quite upset after her two year relationship with Karan broke up. She agrees to create a profile on Mategram- a dating app after her friend's persuasion. She even finds a date who was a chef named Ranveer but everything seemed extremely perfect. That's what made Naina suspicious. Will that date go well? Will she be able to find out what was wrong? Read this romance book filled with suspense.

The title is apt and understandable after reading the book. This story also gives clear insights of the dating apps and it's consequences. All in all it was a good read.

Naina never tried any dating app. But when her two years old relationship broke she tried the hottest dating app of the country metagram where she found a charming chef Ranveer. But is the picture perfect is actually a picture perfect.

I never trust on any dating apps. I often think about the authanticity of the dating apps. I always think what if the guy or girl turns to be a psychopath or a murderer? Shall we trust on these apps. The author very beautifully present all these possibilities on his small thriller. The writing style is amazing. The way it’s twist and turns is really beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Short and shrieking

The author has this magical ability to weave meaningful and interesting stories within twenty pages. This story is also one such flash thriller. Revolving around the modern day trend of seeking a partner, a dating app, the story is narrated beautifully and in details. This story, may seem like a love story, judging from the cover, but actually it is a thriller. It also teaches us the importance of learning whom we should trust.
Recommended for everyone, even if you are not a thriller lover. This book is worth both your time and money.

🔖Review - Today in this modern day environment when science has progressed a lot it has made everything super feasible and has brought everything on our mobile screens. Whether it is a doctor, a teacher on even a soul mate anything and everything can be found with just a click. But sometimes in these platforms we cross paths with people we wish we never had. ⁣
Something similar happens with the protagonist of the story Naina who after getting heartbroken in her relationship tries to find another companion over one of the most popular dating apps only to find a person that makes her regret the very idea of it. ⁣

Despite being only 17 pages long the author doesn't fail to hook the readers. The whole plot has indeed been very well organised and masterfully narrated too. ⁣
At initial reading it may seems like a sweet short love story but as the story progresses it takes a totally unexpected and sinister twist which adds further interest and thrill to our reading experience. Simple and easy to understand language has been used throughout it's writing. ⁣
The characters here have been very well developed too. I personally loved the character of Ranveer, a decent looking stranger who also carries a dark sinister past with him. The cover of the book is pretty nice and the title also goes well with the plot. Though the story indeed ends on a happy note it would definitely compel the readers to think twice before swiping right to a stranger. ⁣

Overall for me it was quite a nice read. ⁣
⁣
Highly recommended for all those who are not in the habit of reading long stories and instead love shorter ones. ⁣

Swipe left to desperation

"Not everyone is meant to be in your future. Some people are just passing through to teach you a lesson."

My second short story book of himanshu goel which am reviewing after "13 year old monk". This book has a completely different topic this time. Both books have a clear social massage and a silent massage that is "not run after bright and popular things.

"Left swipe" book is based on a dating app. I find out author asking us to left swipe for this online dating tradition. App name used in book is "Mategram". Firstly i thought author trying to promoteing or branding this app, even i go through to the playstore to find out is there any app exist or not. In end this app truns out into villain.

This story is about "Naina" who is a old school girl. She was in a 2 year relationship with "Karan" but they had breakup just two week before. A girl name "Riya" Naina's friend who is very much in dating with boys convince her to try her luck on a famous dating app.

She matched with a chef guy "Ranveer" whom perfectly fit with naina's desire. They matched and texted each other and story directly jump to the more then a perfect date scene. I rest my story here for not running the fun of the book.

In my opinion dating apps are very effective specially for girls. You can get what you want or maybe not. We as a person don't know how to act after failures so we make decisions desperately.

This book has nerve wrenching thrills, suspense, drama, romance, mystery and mainly the dark side of luxurious world.
If you want a short book for a sharp twist then this should book should be in your bookshelf.

Review-
Dating has become a very important style statement these days. And to cope up with the demands of the youngsters a lot of dating apps have clouded the market. And our story begins with the same thing.
.
Naina, our protagonist, is a very simple and innocent person, who had a recent breakup from a 2-year long relationship and now her friend Riya is very determined to set her up on a date through this revolutionary dating app, Metagram (Sounds like a spin-off of Instagram, right?🤭). And indeed she get some amazing response and get a date for herself with a PERFECT guy, Ranveer.
.
Naina and Ranveer have an amazing date and the story escalates very sweet and romantic. But there is a lot of things that could happen. Something is odd, everything is too….Perfect.
.
It is a very short read but it is full in terms of suspense, romance, and mystery. A 17 page read but quite refreshing. I liked the story, there were a few errors in between but that was acceptable and doesn’t affect much. I’d recommend it for a very quick read and you’ll like it.

REVIEW:- SWIPE LEFT
AUTHOR:- HIMANSHU GOEL
PUBLISHER:- KALAMOS LITERARY SERVICES

This book is the perfect blend of Suspense, Thrill and Romance. But still i say it was an simple read for me.

Story of this book revolve around the protagonist “Naina” whome relation will ended with “Karan” 2 years back and the aparted but still she wasn’t be able to move on in life.
Because her friend “Riya” insist her to download a dating app named “Metagram” she started using it. Afterwards she found a guy named “Ranveer”. She swiped her right and the conversation between them started. Soon they met on a Date and and it was an amazing one for her. After then ranveer invites her at his place and she agreed and went there But……..
Not everything is that perfect as it looks alike. There’s a different side of the story is waiting for her there…. But what?

Story of this book is well paced But it was unable to gasp my attention towards it until the end because if found it a bit boaring at between and it also lagged to catching up my interest towards it, But the thriller at the end is surely gasping for every reader.

Narration of the story is good but I found some errors in that too. The way author penned it down was good.
Title of the story if totally apt. to the book but the book cover is not that impressive, It was an simple one.

Overall it’s an decent read. If anyone wants to read a thrilling love story then you guys should give it a try.

Another short story by Himanshu Goel and this one contains suspense as well.
Or it was supposed to actually.

I'd have say this that although the writing style and the narration are great, the author must really work on the endings of his stories because personally I feel they can leave a reader very unsatisfied.
Additionally, I'd also like to tell the author to work on his suspense writing scenes because they too are extremely ineffective.

In one page, you have been given a hint of potential suspense and mystery in the story and then suddenly in another the secret is revealed and the whole thing becomes very much predictable. So I'd also recommend the author to increase the length of his stories and build some more tension between the characters because no reader like to reads all bland scenes with inconsistent, fluctuating or unclear emotions.

About the story: The protaganist, Naina has recently broken up with her boyfriend and is in search of a new date. At the urging of her friend, she tries a app named 'Mategram' and sets up a date with Ranveer through it. Here's the twist though, Ranveer is not all he shows himself to be, he has a big secret and to know that secet and how it is gonna affect Naina, you must read this short, hardly a half-hour story.

As I said before, the writing is really good and easy to understand. And the cover is pretty cool as well. Though overall, it left a lot to be desired.

Book - Swipe Left : A Romantic Thriller
Author - Himanshu Goel

The story - "Swipe Left", revolves around the character Naina, a simple girl, who had faced lot since last few weeks. The break up with her boyfriend, Karan had broken her from inside. During that time, Riya, one of her friend suggested her to download the Mategram app, the most hottest dating app of the season. After downloading the app and completing the set up process, the screen displayed - "37 recommended profiles". After few left swipes, Naina finally swiped right on the first profile on Mategram app, which ended up with few messages and a date with one of the most - "Perfect Guy", Ranveer. The date was great for both but still something was bothering Naina, her mind was unable to understand how can someone be so perfect almost in everything.

Will Naina regret going out with Ranveer whom she met recently on a dating app?
Was Ranveer just acting to be perfect?

The story is short and interesting. The characters are well-developed and the narration is smooth. The language used is simple and easy to understand. The twist and turns will make the read quite enjoyable. The author tried to create suspense and mystery throughout the story, but somehow after few pages, I was able to predict the end( may not be same for others), which I don't like as a reader. But overall, the book is good and it takes hardly 20-30 mins to complete.

Average

This is a thriller story both infused with the perks and cons of being dated through online apps, and the related repercussions that one has to go through.
Naina joined the hottest dating app 'Mategram' after her recent breakup. While surfing with the potential options through the app, she chooses Ranveer, a chef, which according to her is a perfect match for the date.
Soon, they are enjoying the ambience of the restaurant untill they show the mutual disliking towards that dish being served. He insisted her to accompany to his home for a delightful meal. She agrees and follows him. But the sugar coated surface doesn't remains the same forever. She unravels some unacceptable dark side of this man which otherwise was masked with a charming personality. How Naina responds/reacts to this shocking revelation?
This is a very short read with quite lots of elements. Dating apps are quite hyped these days. But are they really serving a postive motto towards the needed generation and where the character's real identity is always kept under veil. I liked the consequences that has been expressed on the book, though its more of a nightmare for the one who is facing it.
It started with a good pace and is maintained throughout the book. Characters are precised and well differentiated. The ending/climax could've been made more thrilling and unique, but it was disappointing. Title is apt.
Recommended for beginners and for those on reading slumps.

BLURB-
Naina our protagonist has a breakup with her boyfriend Karan who she was in relationship with for two years.
Upset about the breakup and life in general and morally boosted by her best friend Riya, she signs up of Mategram , which sounds like something Mark Zuckerberg would invent and name after Instagram.

She matches with few people, and ends up going on a date with Ranveer who is an intern chef at a famous culinary institute. After a very special night, they agree to go back to Ranveer's place for dessert but Naina has this feeling in the back of her head that when things are too good to be true, its usually not.

REVIEW-

I have read poetry by Himanshu, what I wasn't expecting was a short story this good.
Hardly 20 pages, it's a very short read. It took me around 15 minutes to finish it.
I have been going through a reading slump for two months now, and I can't read much specially if the story drags anywhere. The point is this story is packed of suspense, you would find no place which feels like a drag.
The story was bit predictable, specially if you follow News regularly.
I loved the subtle elements of Romance. I would have been charmed by Ranveer too, if I went on this date.
The characters, even though few are well sketched, and the details are just enough to picture them in my head. The details of their evening was amazing.
Fast paced and smooth narration ensures you won't set the book down in between.
I did find some mistakes, nothing a flourish of editing won't cover.

Recommended to everyone for a short, thrilling read in between your heavy book reading.

Swipe Left by Himanshu Goel is a short and engaging romantic thriller.

Story revolves around Naina, who was heartbroken over her breakup. It was when her friend forced her she agreed to find a match for herself on recent trending dating app, Metegram.

After Swiping Left to some profiles including her ex boyfriend Karan's, Naina and her friend stumbled upon profile of Ranveer. Ranveer was a cute, good looking chef and his hobbies at some extent were synchronizing with Naina's. Without thinking much Naina approved the thought of having a date with Ranveer.

After chatting for few hours they decided to meet next day for a dinner date. Everything was going smooth until Ranveer asked Naina to visit his home. Twist happened when Naina found something shocking at his home and realized she was doomed!
What was that? Read the book to know!

This is short read that can be read in 30 Mins. Story is smooth in beginning but becomes more engaging when twist happens. Language is subtle. Storyline is good.

It ends quite predictably but at the end the mystery of why exactly he murdered the lady remain unsolved. Karan's part in the story should've been little more. It would've made the story more convincing.

Good short story. Pick up if you are searching for quicky quick fresh & engaging read.

↩️Swipe left by Himanshu Goel is a fast paced romance thriller. It is a short read of less than 30 minutes. Within 18 pages the author has made a thriller story at its best.

↩️Naina, the protagonist has a tough time by losing her job and having a breakup at the same time. She couldn't move over from her breakup. Meantime her best friend Riya, suggests her to find a new guy on a dating app. Naina isn't much interested and serious in this dating app. Upon Riya's completion Naina accepts it.

↩️They found a guy named Ranveer who is a chef. Naina and Ranveer catches up for a date in a restaurant. Later they decided to move to Ranveer's place that night. When Ranveer was preparing a special dish for her, Naina was busy exploring his house. Meanwhile she hears a strange sound she heads in the direction of that sound. She finds a terrific and horrible sight at one of the room.

↩️What did Naina see? What is Ranveer upto? Did their date night went good? Will Naina be able to make a perfect love again?

↩️Though "Swipe left" is a short read it is a perfect thriller. Language is simple and easy to read. Fast paced and keeps the reader engaged. Brilliant plot twist. I loved this short story. Would definitely recommend to all!!!

hey what's your idea of a perfect date...?.candle light dinner with a handsome hunk who is not only handsome but also knows how to cook ( okay that's a + point), sipping wine, surrounded by soft music ....isn't it sounds too perfect ? In this story our innocent protagonist Naina who recently had a breakup with her boyfriend and now she is determined enough to live her whole life in solitary but her friend riya forced her to install a dating app namely ' mategram' and guides her to swipe right not left ( because Naina was swiping left almost all the guys) and there they found Naina's first match Ranveer who is a chef by profession and their interest in similar topics like books and movies leads them to go out for a actual date .......And here the twist comes ; everything was going too smooth Ranveer was baking a chocolate cake for Naina but the sounds of droplets which fills her ear constantly warning her about something unusual.........she set her foot towards the sound and the thing that she witnessed she was blacked out .........................i wasn't expecting such a twist because i was almost infatuated by the handsome hunk ....but okay never mind my bad....................Indeed a thriller romance . A short read and i loved it.
