She’s back in town. The only girl to ever hold my heart in her hands is back in town. The news is like the blow from a hammer. It prevents any constructive thoughts from forming in my mind. All I can see is her. All I can think about is how I’ve missed her. All I know is that I have to keep her at arm’s length to protect her. From the threats still coming the club’s way, and from… me.

Alex has always had this bright light burning in her beautiful baby blues, and the last thing I need is to smother it with the darkness that settled in mine when every last member of my family was murdered.

But the lines I drew back then quickly blur when the Spiders threaten her directly, forcing us to get ready for a possible war. More than ever, I wonder if keeping her close to me, instead of pushing her away, is the right thing to do.

Did I make the worst mistake shoving her out of my life? Maybe. But does it really matter now, when she’s so guarded that her heart has most likely irremediably shut down to me?

*Book 2 in the Chaos Chasers series
*Dual POV
*Explicit sex scenes

I didn't finish it and actually I tried to give no stars but couldn't figure out how to do that.
When the author has h calling all potential OW that H is talking to, flirting with, looking at, etc. as whores, I know I don't want to read it.
H broke up with h and after that, in just the first chapter, she calls all women she sees around him as whores. They may have been club whores but the way it was written, it didn't just mean club whore; it meant 'just because he looks at her means she is a whore'. She even uses the term 'skanky whore' which is how I figured that it was not just club girls h meant.
Which, IMHO, is bad. H and h broke up so all OW just became whores? Why does the author need to trash other women to portray h as worthy and complete?
The rest of the book may have been great but I am done with it ...

After reading Nate, I was so excited for this one. Alex and Jayce exceeded my expectations!! I understand whey Jayce did what he did but I am glad he finally got his head out of his butt! Alex and Jayce have chemistry, history and truly love each other. Once they finally found each other again their romance/steaminess factor was off the charts. Jayce was extremely protective and truly cared for Alex and what she wanted. He didn't just shove her in a corner and tell her to stay there. Alex was a strong female lead. Plus we get insight into Nate an Cam's relationship and the building of the next few books! Their also was some MC drama too bu the book largely focused on the rebuilding of Jayce and Alex. All in all a great read and great series!!

Second book in this three part series.
This is Jayce and Alexia's story.
Jayce is the one who was supposed to be the president of the MC but he was not in any shape of mind to be. Instead he and Nate had traded places and he was the VP until he got his head together. He had suffered a big tragically with the loss of his blood family. He also dumped his girlfriend. Liam's sister. You know all this if you read the first book and you know he found out he has a sister who is Nate ol'lady.
After finishing college Alexia comes back home to be a nurse at the local hospital. All she has left is her brother. Even after a year and a half she is still heart broken over Jayce. She tried to move on while in college and even tried dating someone... she just wasn't ready.
Liam was to pick her up at the book store right by her apartment and instead when she heard the motorcycles she walked out the door but someone opened fire on them and she was shot. Jayce seen.
Now who is to blame? It must be the Spider's because they don't have any other enemies or is it?
Jayce stays with Alexia while in the hospital and holds her while she is out but after she wakes up he won't even be near her. Is he sending mixed signals?
The club gets some really bad news about the fire they set off in the last book.
A lot goes on in this book and you get the answers but are things going to go the way we hope?
This is a really good book... writing is smooth and easy to get into the story and not want to put it down.
Adults only please and you can read as a stand alone but best if read in order

Jayce is the VP of the Chaos Chasers. His family was murdered by their rival gang and, ever since, he hasn’t been the same. He let go of the woman he loved the most and has had a difficult time adjusting to that.

Alex has loved Jayce for as long as she can remember but he broke her heart into a million pieces. Now that’s she’s back home and starting a new job, seeing him every day has gotten harder and harder.

These two don’t take the easy road to repairing their relationship. Life altering things happen for them to realize that being together is what is best for both of them.

I really enjoyed this one. After tragedy strikes Jayce breaks Alex’s heart & I seriously wanted to strangle him! Plenty of emotions and action packed into this one to go with some seriously hot chemistry.

This series keeps dealing with the hard hitting moments!

Jayce and Alex were in love and then Jayce threw it all away in a text at a moment when they both needed each other.

Jayce has said nothing to Alex in over a year and when he does finally speak to her it ignites her temper.

The danger is still looming and Alex is almost lost to it. That moment when Liam and Jayce run to help her is gut wrenching. She held nothing back knowing it could be her last moment with each of them. But Alex is made of stronger stuff than Jayce expected and she comes out on alive and angrier than ever at him.

Jayce has a lot to make up for and he is determined to have the only woman he has loved back. He will do everything possible to make it happen even though the danger around them as him more scared now than ever.

This series is ramping up in danger and intensity. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Jayce & Alexia: triggers- gun violence, kidnapping, sexual assault. The book is okay but for an MC romance, it's kind of lacking. They spend most of their time riding in cages (cars). In fact, no one actually rides a bike until the end. There are no road names but everything else is pretty normal. I have to admit the plot twist was definitely twisting on this one because I didn't expect the antagonist at all... I have to get that Alex was really annoying because one she kind of wreaked of desperation right from the beginning of the story, then she didn't even make jayce work to get her back and finally she had no concept of self preservation. Yes we're all independent women and our jobs are important but not more important that your actual life. That annoyed me. Jayce was very wishy washy in the beginning and that was annoying as well. But the actual story is interesting and it's definitely spicy 🔥🔥🔥🔥. You will definitely need some water while reading. 😉😍🥵

Honestly, the book could be very romantic but they lost me when heroine gave a speech to Hero about how much he hurt her, how she lost everything because he cut ties with her, she lost family, club, friends, couldn’t come back to her home and the loneliness she felt… it was too much for me to like the Hero at all after that. You can feel all her sadness, H felt it too and says nothing and does nothing for six days…

Of course, I felt they solve everything through sex, Hero never grovel, he said sorry but she forgave everything so easy…, not is all about remaining celibate, they are for a year, but that didn’t heal all the pain,
He didn’t do anything to prove her how sorry he was and his apologies last two lines in all the book!
I’m not such a good girl! I prefer a good grudge for a long time,
Not my type…

Alex had been in love with Jayce since before she knew what romantic love was. So when he broke her heart and threw her away - it shook the world she lived in. Jayce knew he screwed up the minute he broke it off with Alex. She owned his whole heart but after losing his family all she represented was what he had the potential to lose.

I am a sucker for a second chance romance - so second chances with a dash of motorcycles?! Heck yes. I am devouring this series but this might be one of my favorites of the bunch. Jayce knows he screwed up and instead of doing Marin depending on him being an idiot and making the same mistake he - gasp - grows and chances and identifies his fears and deals with it. Alex on the other hand - has to learn to trust again and watching her struggle with that is awesome and real.

On to book three - Ben and Colleen!

Jayce and Alexia’s book. Alex has been training to be a nurse for the last 4 years - escaping the giant whole in her heart left by jayce who dumped her when his entire family were killed by the spider mc. He couldn’t face loosing anyone else and kicked Alex to touch. The problem being that Alex has grown up with all the chaos mc boys and her brother Liam is there. She wants to come home and start her new job in the local hospital and try and avoid jayce as much as possible. Full of action from the get go. Another good book in the series. Must read in order - this is the 2nd one.

Angry, Regretful, but still hopeful

After his family were murdered Jayce decided the best thing He could do to keep Alexia safe was to cut all ties. If She's not around him his lifestyle can't hurt her ? . It's a fine line between love and hate and both Jayce and Alex feign indifference. It takes a near death to bring them to their senses, but it's not easy to remember how to trust . Loads of Action, angst and humour. Lots of insight into the other club members lives still and there's still the unresolved issues with their rival club .

After meeting Jayce in Nate's story, I couldn't wait to see how he and Alex would fare in book two.

My gut told me Chaos Chasers MC would be shocked when they found out who was after them. With what happened at the end of book one, I also suspected another surprise.

Alex might have thought Jayce sent her that letter, but what she did after was stupid.

I think the whole Chaos Chasers MC is too laid back. It would be great if they investigated the men around their women and had their own undercover men in the rival MC. I'm loving the series so far.

This is the second book in this awesome series, and is Jayce and Alex’s story. The chemistry between these two is intense, and with a rival club causing mayhem, Jayce is extremely protective about Alex. This is a well written story which is steamy and with drama, which all had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, And I cannot wait to read more from this talented author, whose work I recommend for all MC lovers.

Second in this series and I have to say it was far better than the first one. But I love second chance at love books. Jayce and Alexis were together once. But they separated and it wasn't a good break up. She is back and someone is trying to hurt her. Will everything going on being these two back together or tear them apart even more? I love the chemistry between Jayce and Alexie. It is hot intense and enjoyable to read. Loved this one and can't wait to read the next one.

I was captured with this series from the first book. After reading Nate, I was so looking forward for this one. Jayce exceeded all expectations.

I loved everything about this story. The storyline was exciting and gripping with plenty of action, suspense, humor, strong alpha men and the women who captures their heart also the bad guys all of this make for a fantastic read. This is a very well written story in the life of The Chaos Chasers MC. I am so looking forward for Ben’s story

I really enjoyed this story from C M Marin. This is a story about the Chasers MC and particularly Jayce and Alexia, they were together before but Jayce broke it off and Alexia went back to college in Dallas she has now returned home but still had feelings for him as he is her lover of her life. Tradegy strikes and it brings them back together but Alexia needs to learn to trust Jayce again. Their chemistry is hot and explosive and cannot wait to read the next one.

Head out of ass, finally

I just love the romance of Jayce and Alex. He was her first, everything, and even though she wasn’t his first everything she was his first love and in this story that’s what matters most. Once Jayce was able to pull his head outta his ass and think straight after losing 3 family members in one day and then learning he had a sister, he turned all of his attention to Alex and that’s when magic happens. Loved it

Another Good Story

This is the second story in Marin's series. This is Jayce and Alex's story. The author gave us a glimpse in book of this couples past. I enjoyed both characters, at times I felt the characters got a little winded when describing their inter feelings. Overall it has all the good things that make up a story, angst, humor, alpha male, hot sexy time and strong female character.
Happy Reading!!!

While I really liked the first book, this one seemed to go on forever and for the last chapters I skipped a few pages. In my opinion, Jayce and Alex have no chemistry. There is no "how could he/she have done this", or "yeah, they're back together"... Honestly, I wouldn't have finished it, if the first book wouldn't have been so good and I really want to read Ben and wouldn't want to miss something important to his story.

I loved this book. Second chances. The storyline was intriguing and captivating, and very entertaining, albeit very emotional at times. I absolutely adored the characters. Jayce and Alex had had there fair share of heartache and lonliness, and it was so heartbreaking to read their story, but in the end love always prevails. They were so good together and they had amazing chemistry. Overall this was a really great read.

Master of twist & turns

Jayce, is the story about Jayce & Alex. Great story, it ticked all my boxes, with MC drama, action, love, crazy hot attraction, friends, family and not to forget 2 strong characters that have lost their way but never stop fighting for what they want. I am starting to think C.M. Marin is the master of twist & turns, lesson learnt never start on a book if you don't have time to read it in one go

Jayce broke Alexias heart when he lost his family he lost himself too. Now Alexia is back in town after completing her studies but the clubs trouble targets her, reuniting these two, their story is filled with heart aches, desires and second chances but can it last? engaging drama, and action packed a great addition to the series.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is book 2 in a mc series. This book can be read as a stand alone but is better if you have read book 1 called Nate. This book will take you on a journey of trying to figure out what the rival club is going to do as well as if Alex and Jayce can find their way to come back and love again after breaking up. This book will keep you guessing all the way up to the end of the book.

Jayce

I knew it wasn't the Spiders trying to run them down this time. The attacks were too centered around Jayce, Alex and Liam. It definitely seemed to be someone that had grudge against just them. Alex should have called Jayce the minute she read the letter or called her brother, her stalker would not have gotten to her.

Jayce and Alex!

I’m glad they got their chance at a happily ever after. There were enough twists and turns in the story to keep it interesting. They characters were well developed, and the author didn’t gloss over the issues they needed to overcome to find their way. I’ll keep reading this series.

Jayce: The Chaos Chasers (2)

Although book 5 only came out this year and book 4 last year, I've had 1 - 3 for 3 yrs, and this is the first time I've read them. I must be daft, these books are well worth every word. The storyline, the characters, brilliant . Bring on the next, "Ben", going on the end of this book, should be another winner
