The twenty-sixth short story in the Free Nightmares series. How many of us have played mirror games, calling some rumored horrific entity's name a certain number of times in front of a mirror only to walk away a little creeped out but otherwise okay? What if the first time you called that name you set an evil being in motion? What if, unlike the rumors had told, they didn't show up immediately. What if they came at a much later time, a time when the act of calling their name had long been forgotten? The author in this story tells about his experience with Bloody Mary and how once the name of the death is called, it's only a matter of time before they answer.
I loved-loved-loved this amazingly chilling short story. Talented author Travis Mays just blew my mind with this terrifying account of his/or the author's experience by the using of the name 'Bloody Mary' in a reflective surface. It's a very short read but it's a chiller like no other. I love Mays' style of bringing out his/the author's experience with the paranormal in this tale of horror. I highly recommend this short story to all horror fiction fans out there. I am now hooked to Travis May's Nightmare books & I'm sure you will too after you read this short story. Kudos to Mays on a job well done!
