Jase McKenzie, a dragon shifter and Alpha by birth, has separated himself from his clan. He doesn't want to take his place on the throne and decides to move to Maine to live in the mountains. His dragon recognizes his mate but, Jase doesn't want one.

Angel Leery, works at the local law office in Lebanon, Kentucky. While working a case, she finds out that her husband is part of the mob. Running from her abusive and dangerous husband, she decides to head to Maine to hideout. What she didn't expect was her husband hiring someone to kill her. A car accident leaves her stranded in the mountains with nowhere to go when a sexy stranger shows up to save her. His cool demeanor should push her away, but it doesn't. She wants him and has no idea why.

Will Jase accept his mate and by doing so, protect her? And will Angel trust Jase enough to love him?

I loved this book

Straight to the point.

I quick read, but again another enjoyable paranormal romance from April Lynn Baker.
This is basically an introduction to a new series "The Appalachian Dragons" and it's definitely a series I am looking forward to reading.
A couple of strong determined characters Angel and Jace who find what other's expect from them is not what they personally want, but once they bump into each other it looks as though things may change.
An enticing read wanting me to grab the next book in the series immediately.
Cannot wait to get into everything this series offers.

Short and sweet

Absolutely loved this book. It is a new series and had me hooked from the first page. Angel who works at a law firm is involved in a case that is about her husband. She decides to leave to her car is run off the road and she met Jase. Jase left his home because he wanted to get away from his family. He knows Angel is his mate. He needs to protect her so they can be together. This is an awesome book. I totally recommend it and can’t wait to see what comes next

Short but sweet.

Angel a lawyer is running away from her abusive husband and while on the run someone is after her causing an accident that ultimately leads her to find her Dragon shifter mate.

I usually don't give a 3 star rating to books, but this one was a little to fast paced for my liking. Everyone involved accepts all the happenings with no story line, or questions asked.

Jace is a dragon shifter who moves to the Appalachian Mountains in Maine, wanting to be alone and live a more normal life away from the responsibilities that come with being the King. He gives that all up to his twin brother. But then he finds a wounded woman who turns out to be his mate.

Angel Leery is a lawyer who has been married to a man she thought she loved until the abuse started and she found out that he was in illegal dealings with the mob. She decides to run from him and moves to Maine, while on her way to her new life she is in a bad car accident and is rescued by a very handsome Jace. She accepts right away that he is a dragon shifter and jumps his bones right then and there.

A Dragon Shifter Story OVER 18 READING

Angel is a young lawyer who when given a mob case discovers her abusive husbands involvement and realizes she needs to get away. Luck doesn't seem to be on her side when she is driven off the road shortly after a threatening call from him. When she comes to she finds Jade a dragon shifter has found her and taken her to is cabin. Angel is kidnapped and Jase calls his brother for help when he comes to and realizes she has been taken. They follow his mate bond to find her and rescue Angel , who then get a dragon ride home.

Jase is a dragon shifter that wants to be left alone

Jase moves away from his family so he can be alone. Angel is try to get away from her abusive husband but he's not ready to let her go. Jase finds his true mate in Angel but can they work it out? Great story.

prologue

I know it’s a prologue, but it’s 10 minutes, over and done by chapter 8. Could have been an amazing story on its own if padded out etc, it’s really just a story synopsis
